The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The pizza is so good! I really like their Bianca, it's so well seasoned and full of flavor. I've tried most others and never had a bad slice. They make huge side salads so you can get away with getting a small salad for lunch. If you're not that hungry. this location has plenty of booths and tables, but is still cozy. They share lots of family photos on the wall and have the kind of fun old school family theme in everything. What is making this a one is service, I went with a date, on Valentines, who loves their food and they refused allow her 1 glass of wine. Now I talked to the server about something personal, but it was not affecting her, and she only stumbled due to her wearing heels that she was not used to. When asked, the server made a statement that upset her and me. When arguing the point, we proceeded to the manager and were treated the same. This is not the first time I have had issues with this location as well. Last Valentines we arrived while the store was still open, but they no longer were serving at the location, so I had to order out and drive back home just to make do with the night we had. I went with my colleagues during our lunch break and Tomasinos was only a 10 minute drive from us. We arrived around 1145, but some parking spaces were blocked due to the traffic line for Starbucks. Even though there was a bit of a crowd, we were seated immediately in a booth. It took some time to get acknowledged, but after 10 minutes a waitress came and asked if we wanted lunch menus. I am glad I said yes as I found it to have better deals. I went with the Italian Sub (about 10 dollars), and asked if I could substitute salad instead of fries. I was told that they can do that. We waited a while for our food to come, and my colleagues food came before mine. About 20 to 30 minutes later, my sub came, but was missing the salad. I told them it was ok, and didn't need it. The sub was fine with a good amount of meats (ham, pepperoni, and salami), as lettuce plus diced tomatoes on top. There was some Italian dressing on the side, which helped provide flavor. I found the bread too be a bit too hard and lacking flavor, so I ate mostly the meats and veggies. I guess the veggies were my salad that was lacking. Even though it was a bit busy for lunch, I found the service to be too slow for me. It took time to get acknowledged, get our food, and pay the bill. They mentioned that they would take the salad off the bill, but I didn't see any difference in my price. When I questioned it, that mentioned that there was no salad in my bill. I guess to substitute salad from fries was an extra cost, which they didn't mention. So I paid the lunch special price, even though I neither had fries or salad as a side. The atmosphere was casual and small. Only a few tables/booths were available. The counter area wasn't too far away. It was pretty talkative with the noise, but I think there was basic American music in the background. Overall, I think that this restaurant would have been better as a counter service than a table service. I thought it would be a quick lunch, but the service made us go back to our office an hour and half later. If they took the order at the counter, it would have been much faster. I found some pizzas at the counter as well, so I thought the food would be ready more quickly. I would give this place zero stars if I could. First time I visit this establishment and I will never return. As soon as I walked in to this place with my service animal I was not greeted with a "welcome" I was greeted with "we do not allow pets". I said to him "this was my service animal" and he said "we do not allow service animals you would have to eat outside". So I said "no worries I will take my business elsewhere". The young man turned around, walked away, and ignored me. Here is the problem I want to bring to light to the owner of this establishment so he/she can better train their employees. Sometimes a disability is not immediately seen by those that are ignorant to what is unseen. My sugar levels at that time were extremely low. I could not sit outside because it was cold, and I suffer from asthma and allergies. I had to leave even though my rights were violated by this young man's ignorance and disrespectful attitude. Then I had to walk another two blocks to get some food in my stomach before almost passing out by the time I got to the other restaurant. Luckily, the other restaurant understood my rights to have a service animal and I was able to eat and feel better. I am just one customer but I hope that by posting this review the owner of this establishment better trains their employees not only to exhibit good customer service but to also educate them on the rights of a person's disabilities. I also hope that they lose potential customers who read this. Now I know why this place had no customers inside while the other establishment that I had to walk to was full. I grew up.in New and I always pretty much took it for granted that great pizza was available pretty much on every corner. When I moved to Florida back in 2001, I was shocked and more than a bit dismayed to find that great pizza (or even good pizza for that matter) was not available on every corner. Both locations can get very busy and the Winter Springs location has misplaced my order occasionally but has sprays corrected their mistakes. Tomasino's is my favorite pizza place in the area. At work, we order from this store almost weekly for events, parties, and employee lunches. We haven't received a bad pie or any other food item yet. The staff is friendly and welcoming and when they know it's us calling, they always give us the hook up on toppings and garlic knots. Be sure to ask for extra sauce, this stuff is good enough to drink out of the cups they serve it in! My two favorite pies are "the Butcher's Pie," and "Joncarlo's VIP." The Butcher's pie is a meat lover's dream come true. Melted mozzarella topped with a plethora of pepperoni, sausage, sliced meatballs, bacon, and ham served on a perfectly baked hand-tossed crust. The VIP is one of the best stuffed pizzas I have ever had and is literally a pizza pie. I can only imagine the skill the chef must have to toss this pie, stuff it, and bake it perfectly so that all of the ingredients are cooked to perfection all while keeping the crust crispy on all sides, simply amazing! The 18" VIP is a bit pricey at $34.99, but it is worth every penny! It's like two pizzas in one and stuffed with lots of cheese, premium ham, genoa salami, pepperoni, sausage, and sliced meatballs. I'm not sure if this is something to be proud about, but I have eaten two slices of the VIP in one sitting along with wings, salad and garlic knot's while most who encounter the VIP are lucky if they can finish one slice; it is a lot of food! Believe it or not, the VIP gets better with age! A day or two later, the VIP tastes as good as the day we ordered it. We love to re-bake leftover slices, cut them up into cubed 'hors d'oeuvres, and dip them in heated marinara sauce, so good! I could go on and on about the pies; however, Tomasino's has quite a selection of other food items to choose from. We regularly order wings that are of good quality and can be served in a variety of heat levels and flavors such as BBQ, Sriracha Chili, Mango Habanero, & garlic parmesan. A 10-piece wing is $10.99 and a 20-piece is $19.99. We also love the Garlicky Cheese Knots & Marinara ($3.99), you really cannot go wrong with garlic butter brushed baked knots, sprinkled with Romano and mozzarella cheese served with homemade marinara sauce. The hot fresh bread, melty cheese mixture, and dipping sauce are too tempting to avoid. I look forward to trying some of their other menu items especially the baked specialties and subs. Baked specialties such as the Chicken Tomasino, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Baked Ziti come with a choice of spaghetti or penne and garlic knots; for $1.99 more, you can add a side salad. This is a great Togo lunch option that two people can share and is affordable when splitting the $10.99-$14.99 price tag. Tomasino's 10" old-fashioned N.Y. style subs are reasonably priced from $7.99-$9.99. Although I haven't had one yet, the menu suggests that Tomasino's is using high-quality bread, meats, and cheeses among the 6-options noted. We really enjoy this place. Every single time we go the food is on point. Portions are generous, prices are great. The service is always great. Last night we got 4 slices. 2 salads, and an order of knots. Everything was delicious. My husbands favorite is the butcher and I like the white pizza or the gardener. The salad (I don't remember the name but the bottom one on the menu) is amazing - lots of meats and cheeses - great flavor and huge! We've been pretty loyal to another pizza place but decided to try this place for delivery last night at 8 through GrubHub. I ordered a penne Alfredo with a side of meatballs and a calzone and was notified it would take 2 hours for delivery which I had no problem with. Food was delivered on time. However, instead of a calzone there were 3 different slices of pizza stacked on top of each other in one of the boxes which looked liked somebody's leftover slices. I texted the delivery person who was very apologetic and said they weren't allowed to open and check food they were to deliver. I then called the restaurant. The lady I spoke to asked if she can give me restaurant credit for my calzone. I said no as I don't know if and when I'll order from them again and I'd rather have the $$ back to my credit card. She said that wasn't a problem and that it will show 2 charges on my card but original amount will not go through. As of this time, (about 12 hours later) only the original charge is showing on my card activity. As for the penne Alfredo with meatballs, pasta was cooked perfectly and meatballs tasted good but the Alfredo sauce itself was very soupy. It's very disappointing. I was hoping this would be a good alternative. I think I'll go back to my regular pizza joint. Went to the restaurant a few minutes ago to follow up on my credit and show them the pizza that was delivered. I spoke to Rachel and Angie and was assured that they cancelled the transaction last night. Not a good experience. Ordered a half pepperoni / half cheese on Christmas Eve for pick up at 3:30 in the afternoon. Arrived and went in only to find out (after paying) that my order had not even been started. I just can't believe that a establishment with only four customers in the place would have dropped the ball like this on Christmas Eve. Another 20 minutes passes and I go in to pick up my pizza. Staff is friendly and I really like the atmosphere of this particular location. I arrived home and opened the box to find that once again, Tomasino's has gotten over on me when it comes to pepperoni. On our way to Ponce Inlet decided to grab something and try a new place. The inside reminded me a lot of Gramaldi's . Fancy Diner style: red booths with Chandeliers. They don't have slices and we didn't want a whole pizza so my hubby got the wings with a side of Fries and I got the cheesesteak. Everything looked amazing but the taste fell a bit short. My hubby said the wings needed salt and I felt the same about my Cheesesteak. If it didn't have the peppers and onions it had no flavor. Seemed like the actual steak wasn't seasoned. I've eaten from Tomasino's several times before but first time leaving a review. This has got to be one of the best New York style pizzas in this area. Their slices are big and cooked to a nice golden brown crust. The cheese is melted to ample brown spots on the pie. It really leaves your mouth watering for more. You really notice a difference in taste that separates Tomasino's from the rest. The one thing I've noticed is that their pizzas have a chewy texture, almost like it takes some effort to bite off.
