The restaurant was a little quiet when we arrived and we were greeted right away to a table. The staff were very kind and gave great suggestions. I ordered the gnocchi bolognese and it was very delicious. I had the limoncello spritz requested less sweet which came out perfect. My group also had the fiocchetti appetizer which was a nice balance of cheesy, sweet and salty. It's filled pasta bites of cheese and pear purée with a cream sauce and crumbled prosciutto. For dessert we all shared the chocolate lava cake with extra ice cream. The flavor was exactly what we hoped and it was nicely warm. We are excited to come back!

I had the Caesar salad and 1501 dry rub wings with ranch. Salad had corn bread croutons which could've been good but tasted like just oiled soaked stale dense bread. Dressing came on the side, which I'm guessing was due to a misunderstanding because my cousin asked for his wing hot sauce on the side. The chicken was chewy unfortunately. The skin was crispy and rub was good but the texture ruined it and they just tasted bad and overcooked. I would opt for another dinner choice or maybe they have other food that's better.

My husband and I had never been there before so as a first timer the scene was just relaxing and spa/modern feel and our server Abbey was top notch. Since we had never been there before she recommended us to try the Tiradito Hamachi and it was to die for! She was on top of her service while we were there which was about an hour. We were loving the food, drinks and Abbey that we had to just stay a little past our meal to take it all in. We thought about desserts but the portions were a great size that I might have to save room next time we go in for some. I highly suggest this restaurant to anyone who wants to try a new place. Thank you again Abbey, you KILLED IT!

Very jovial people served us all night long, the drinks were plentiful and quick. And the pacing of the dinner was good, even though we were doing Magical Dining, we didn't feel rushed. The food was insane. Huge portions, huge flavors, and little ingredient choices that had a big impact on the overall dish. Really great food. Cons: Not a single con. There are so many ingredients in each dish, maybe just make sure they're all present on the plate when the food comes out. Tips: As a cost analysis, pay the $5 more for the beef heart app. It was very very good. Everything else was good as it was, though.

I opted for the red base drink, as I was told it could help with tummy cramps--and it actually worked! The flavor was very earthy, as they mentioned, and while it started out okay, the more I drank, the less enjoyable the taste became. I also sampled two bubbly options, but since I'm not much of a bubbles person, those weren't for me. At $13, the drink was a bit pricey, but I appreciated the natural benefits it offered. If you're into earthy flavors and looking for something soothing, it's worth a try! I'd recommend it for the experience, but it might not be for everyone taste-wise.

This is an interesting place. To be honest, I almost drove right passed it when I turned into the…read morestrip mall as it's next to Chamberlin. But there is a cute neon sign that's lit and says "yes this is the place". Pretty funny. So first things first: the location is weird. However the atmosphere and decor inside is very well done. You open the door and are immediately greeted by the host/hostess. It's dark and moody. You turn to the right and suddenly you are in a very swanky environment. You forget where you parked in no time. The drinks: bottle of Tapestry, bees knees with tequila since they ran out of gin. They also ran out of St. Germaine liquor son only two rounds of putting on the fits, the fireside cinnamon sip, an old fashion and a espresso martini. They were all deliciously hand crafted and made to order.. The food: we were a group of 6 ladies and we ordered the Georgia peach salad, the tomato bisque (soup of the day) homemade bread (supposed to be focaccia but was actually French bread), salmon, cheese wheel pasta with shrimp, lobster linguine (I believe), filet and the cheese wheel with filet. For dessert: some molten chocolate (which burned my finger to no one's fault by my own as they did warn me) and the apple pie. The standouts: Georgia peach salad and tomato bisque, salmon & the cheese wheel pasta. As well as both desserts. Additional note: the service was great. The attention to detail to accommodate our coats and purses was thoughtful The cons: who charges $3 for a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese ? The chef is Italian and didn't think that the lobster one should have cheese on it. That's strange. Was it worth the hefty price tag - probably not Would I go again? Maybe for their happy hour but probably not for dinner.

He was nice but appeared to need more training to be up to par for the price point. The decor was nice inside but the location does not give a good first impression and cheapens the experience. It is located in an older shopping plaza and is unkept. I think they are trying for a speakeasy vibe but it isn't being pulled off. The second time we went, we made a reservation to listen to their live music with some appetizers and a cocktail. It was spontaneous as we found ourselves child-free for the night at the last minute. Upon arrival we were told that 'we have a dress code and shorts are not allowed.' Mind you, the dress code says 'no gym shorts' and we didn't have on gym shorts or athletic wear. We weren't dressed up but were wearing decent outfits and nice shoes (no sandals of any kind). Needless to say, there will not be a third visit. Do not recommend.

We came here from my friends breakfast brunch and I'm so glad she chose this restaurant. I was happy to see the unique dishes they offered. It was really hard to decide on what I wanted to eat with all the tempting options. I settled on chilaquiles because this dish is very hard to find. I am so glad I chose it as it hit the spot. It paired nicely with the bottomless mimosas and sangrias. Their restaurant is beautiful and has many photo worthy spots. They also have a bar towards the back of the restaurant and patio seedings as well. This place was located in downtown Sanford and gives you an opportunity to walk off all the delicious food you just inhaled. I definitely want to revisit this location and try the rest of the menu.

We heard about this place from our friends so when it was time to get the gang together- I said hey…read moreshould we go to Zacapa? She said YES! On arrival, the staff remembered my friend. They're like- cilantro allergy right? Hahahaha. Then they say us at two large tables in the back. Thank goodness because everyone had their kids so there were 5 adults and 4 kids. We had plenty of room back there for the kids to be kids. Our server was great. I had no idea they would tack on 20% tip to our bill, but she wasn't slacking. She was still earning that tip. She brought out chips and salsa and then got our drink order. That helped keep the kids occupied. My friend suggested the margarita flight- so I went for it. The menu is an iPad with pictures of everything but it's also a lot of clicking back and forth and kind of overwhelming. My friend loved the carnitas fajitas and got that again. She gave me a bite- the pork was in chunks but it was so flavorful and tender. I had the shrimp tacos- wow! There were four huge shrimp in each taco (3 tacos) so it was about 3/4 of a pound of shrimp or maybe even a pound! Mine came with a side of rice and beans- which you can adjust a little but not too many options exist. I did not want beans but I also did not want double rice lol. Hers came with the usual fajita stuff- lettuce, guac, salsa, cheese, and sour cream. Both dishes came with your choice of corn or flour tortillas The guys got the chicken fajitas and the molcajete, which came w the same platter of sides and tortillas. There was food everywhere. The kids got chicken tenders, black beans, refried beans, rice, white queso dip and macaroni and cheese. They all kinda shared and of course didn't finish their food. I think they got full on chips and salsa. The margarita flight I had has many choices for flavors. I got kiwi, coconut and blackberry. All were very good but all very sweet. They put a lot of syrup in there. I think you'd be better off just getting a regular margarita or one flavored one because the flight cups are smaller than typical margarita glasses. So if they're putting one squirt of syrup, it's probably too much for that little glass. So next time I'll just get the coconut margarita. They have churros and what not but we opted against dessert. The kids wanted ice cream from the place down the plaza (Violet's- it's great! See my review). We boxed up our leftovers (I couldn't eat all three tacos; I had one left, plus my rice and beans) and paid the tab. She was nice to split it up by family and I'm sure that was not easy! I did not use the restroom but most of us did. The restrooms look like singles but they're not. The women's has two stalls behind that door so don't get caught waiting in the hallway. Go inside. My friend's kid didn't wanna wait or couldn't wait so they went straight to the men's, thinking the women's was a one stall. Hahahaha. Parking is hard to find because it's a busy plaza. We had to park all the way down by Fishbones where the parking lot is a lot bigger. They have a front part of their restaurant which also has some bar seating and then that more quiet back room where we were seated. I would recommend this place. It's a little pricey for Mexican food but it's really good. (Also it's hard to mess us Mexican, I get it). I was impressed by the amount of shrimp in my tacos and the amount of pork carnitas and chicken fajitas they put on their platters. They also have quite a selection of flavors for their margs.

Overall we would go back we just probably would try to get a different server.
