Small town country cafe with amazing food and service. Was visiting Libby for a few days and decided to drop in for breakfast. I was immediately greeted like I was family and welcomed to a seat. Coffee was fresh and the scenery outside was beautiful. My breakfast was promptly served, warm and delicious. It felt for a moment like I was a kid again having breakfast cooked by mom. I highly recommend Antler's Restaurant but only if you want to time travel back to being a kid and having mom cook breakfast for you with awesome biscuits and gravy, hash browns, and my favorite eggs over medium. read more

Should have walked out when I saw the dirty windows and floor (carpet filthy). Worst meal I've had. "World famous tomato soup"? What world? This place is rundown and dirty. Food subpar for sure. Not much open here in a Sunday but keep on going! read more

Excellent coffee and the best omelettes! I have eaten here 2x now because the Omelettes are so good. I had the Mexican omelette with chorizo sausage, cheddar cheese and green chili sauce. Hash browns were very good also. read more

My family and I had dinner here on 7/3/25 the server was nice and provided great service. We ordered the children's spegetti, the shrimp platter, the fettuccine alfredo with broccoli in it, and the pork chops. The food was great. Food quality / price (value) rating 9. The atmosphere is Country. Tastefully decorated with log cabin style woodwork, large booths and tasteful lighting. We only ate breakfast here, but the prices were very reasonable. I had two eggs, bacon, home fries and high quality rye toast for $7.95. Unheard of these days. The wife had a very nice, large bowl of sliced cantaloupe, honeydew, grapes, and pineapple for $4.95, and $0.95 for coffee. In addition, you can receive a discount of 10% if you're staying at one of two neighboring hotels (very, very, very reasonable). Service was fast, attentive and pleasant, by our waitress Chelsea. I was hesitant to come here based on the low star rating. Glad I ignored the reviews. My husband and I had breakfast. He had pancakes with eggs and bacon. I did a "make your own" omelette with veggies and cheese. All was very tasty. The hashbrowns were perfectly cooked. Went out to dinner with my husband, decided to give 4-bs a try as we haven't been in years and heard it's gotten better. Service was ok. They Walked past our table several times and didn't refill our drinks any of those times. Very poor customer service. hardly anyone in the restaurant but the young blonde that came to front to take us back clearly did not want to be at work. She did not smile, say good morning or even wait for us. she grabbed menus and walked through the staff station and laid the menus on a table and yelled at us that this was our table and left. we are not old either and tried keeping up but she did not wait for us. she did not offer us coffee either. she was more interested in having a conversation with the cooks. my husband and I sat down and after five minutes of no one coming over we chose to leave. the other waitress was clearly working but even she was not smiling. I don't recommend this place as staff are clearly not about customer service. word of mouth goes along way. the young lady that has long blonde hair needs some training in etiquette and customer service. read more

Great Food! We go there once a week to eat. The waiter and waitress' are very friendly. Sometimes they are out of stuff, not often at all. We live in a small town. They dont get delieverys as often as a bigtown does. It is just a fact of living in a small town in Montana. I understand and just order something different. No biggie. The food is great! read more

We have attempted to eat there 4 times. Once we were able to do so. They post their hours as staying open until 8pm but 3 of the 4 times they have been closed before 6pm. We have given up and will gladly go to the other great places in town. read more

If you want good breakfast in Libby go to Antler's! The staff is awesome and very helpful. The food is good, cheap, and breakfast is served all day. So many restaurants in Libby are closed at random times but they seem to have consistent hours so you're not stranded with nothing to eat as it gets later in the day or earlier in the morning before most places are open. Their Red White and Blue Pancakes are to die for! read more

The food arrived quickly despite the staffing issues, and it was all delicious. The chicken quesadilla was great, the chicken tasted like fresh chopped chicken breast. Ok, so I'm a relativist. What I would rate 4 stars in NYC would blow this place out of the water, of course... but you're in rural Montana and you're lucky to find a place with edible food that isn't filled with smoke and slot machines. And the best part...? One of the only 2 FRESH salad bars in Libby. And it is well stocked. If you tire of Montana fare (Someone say "Beef?") and want to give your microvilli a rest - this place is great. I don't know where they get all the fresh veggies because I haven't seen this many in one place anywhere else within state lines, but they are a welcome break from, well, beef. Staff is slightly less friendly when they know you're "not from around here," but hang out long enough and you are likely to spot a (often quite large) Mennonite family, bonnets and all. They come in from the woods to this one spot, maybe it's the veggies? And there is cool real log cabin architecture. Pancakes are fantastic and the prices are great. Nice big booths are great for getting some take-home paperwork done or chilling with a big group. read more

Frustrating to go in to a restaurant and be told we are out of...several items then mentioned. It was not even 5 pm, so unsure why they were already out of several items. Meal was decent, nothing spectacular, but then ordered huckleberry pie, and they were out of that also. Julie is a kick ass waitress and provided us with amazing service all 4 days in a row that we visited. Our breakfast food was good - the one time we went for dinner wasn't so good. If you are cutting down Highway 2 in Montana, and you don't feel like stopping at Kate's Take N Bake in Troy, then mosey on down 19 miles to Libby and take a break at The Antler's restaurant. A very good selection of traditional American Cuisine, with a 50's feel to it, and really good prices. Their Ribeye Steak is well worth the price as it is tasty and filling! The Tri-Tip Steak over Rice was very impressive. All the portions were generous, and tasty, and it appears breakfast is the big hitter in the place, although I opted for the meat dinners. Well worth the stop and rest. Stay out of the cheesy Casino's across the street! read more

I used to live in Libby, and this location previously housed a restaurant known as 4-Bs. It was open all night, so it served as sort of a Denny's for teenagers. At that time, the food was pretty good as well. Recently I went back and...the hours are only 8 until 8, and the food has really gone downhill. I can't think of any reason to visit this place. There are plenty of other options in Libby for roughly the same price. read more
