And when we arrived, they had tables pushed together with exactly 13 chairs waiting for us. It's not huge in ambiance, small but tastefully decorated with historic New York Yankees pictures of Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, etc. The service was terrific with Karen (a friend of Babs) doing everything she could to make sure we were feeling welcome and satisfied. True small town hospitality at its best. Beer is in the cooler past the imaginary line where you are supposed to go, the opener is behind the cash register, help yourself and we will figure it out later. Karen was a terrific hostess, friendly and fun and made us all feel comfortable. The pizza was terrific. We started with a Bin of salad, large enough to serve all 13 of us. Dressing was served family style in bowls. It was terrific, fun and effective. Then we moved onto three orders of cheesy garlic knots. It was a perfect amount but I could have made a meal out of these alone. We ordered 4 pizzas. 3 of them were specialty pizzas off of the menu, the Greek, the balsamic bomb and the yuppie and had to take plenty home. We all agreed they were terrific, but I have to say my favorite was the yuppie. One of our group (a smarty pants college student) realized that all we had to do was eat 2.5 slices each and that we didn't finish meant that some were not pulling their weight. I think I speak for our entire group when I say that if we were back in the area Babs would be in the list of places we would make sure we didn't miss again. Thank you!

We stopped by hoping to get some pizza and pasta but they were very busy. Even the cashier said it…read morewill be awhile before they would have our food ready. The inside is small and there was plenty of room to sit down because most orders were to go. We left since we didn't want to wait so long, until next time.

Our family of three adults and a toddler came for Mothers Day dinner…read more We ordered three pasta dishes, a side of broccolini, tiramisu, and lemon marscapone cake. The broccoli was just a tad underdone to our liking but we were in euphoria over our pastas. My tiramisu was good, overly sweet and would have loved more of that bitter coffee flavor. The lemon cake was so good my son stole it from my mother in law. Our server was David. He was on fire, running in this tiny space to us and all of his other tables, making drinks, taking orders, etc. Chef PorkChop was AMAZING. The amount of communication, leadership, and attitude that man has is astounding. If our family finds any time out of our busy schedules, we will absolutely be back.

Respectable Americanized Italian, great customer service, fair prices, huge wine selection, and all-around nice atmosphere makes Mambo one of the most consistent restaurants in WF. We've been visiting WF for 10 years and always make it a point to stop into Mambo because it never disappoints. Definitely recommend a reservation because it's a quaint place and gets really busy on the weekends and peak seasons.

I was craving pizza. This was the best choice in town. Our waitress, Devyn, was a joy, very attentive, and was handling several tables with real pleasantry. We ordered two galls of a Barbera and Montepulciano. Both glass were pleasing and filled full. The only downside is the glasses are small so you can't swirl for the aroma or aerate the wine. The garlic bread has a nice crust and soft center. They will also you bring you a tray if olive oil and balsamic vinegar to dip it in. It's a nice umami of savory, sweet, and salty. The side Caesar Salad comes with a very tasty and traditional dressing where you can taste the anchovies and dijon mustard. The Jersey Tomato Salad is loaded with tomatoes, artichoke hearts and Kalamata olives on a bed of crispy greens. The pizza was a big hit. A perfectly thin and crispy crust, light on the cheese, chunky tomatoes instead of a traditional marinara sauce, fresh rosemary and mushrooms, and sausage with fennel. So happy we dined here. Looking forward to another meal here soon.

Every time I asked her about something she acted like I was strange.... I asked for bread and got a blank look. Food was ok. Avoid the bruschetta though! It was super tart with greasy bread underneath. Entrees were decent.
