The views were breathtaking, the service friendly and the accommodations top-notch. Mike and Nancy were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Each room was spacious, stylishly furnished and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the relaxing ambiance made for a great night's sleep. A complimentary breakfast was anything but ordinary. Just order any breakfast item off the menu, and Nancy cooks it up and serves it hot and fresh. Lunch and dinner were equally delicious. Our first day, we relaxed on the large, wrap-around front porch taking in the beautiful view and several deer and moose sightings. Later, Gary took us on an ATV ride to explore the property. The next day, we drove 10 minutes to the Fork Clark River and did some kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. The Amber Bear Inn is ideal for those looking to hike, fish, boat, kayak, paddle board, snow shoe, cross-country ski or get away from it all.
