My family and I came here for dinner on 7/6/25. There was 9 of us. We all sat in the back room. The server provided great service. I ordered coffee and the kids ordered hot chocolate. I had the special of the day. pork chops in mushroom gravy with the salad bar. The food was great the pork chops was juicy and very flavorful and the salad bar was well stocked and would recommend the broccoli salad. It was my favorite on the salad bar. My son had the mushroom cheese burger. My wife had the strawberry French toast. They both said there food was amazing as well. Thank you for the wonderful food and service. With only one waitress working on a Saturday late afternoon, we went in thinking is was a greasy spoon type of cafe, but we had been on the road all day and it was close to a ACE hardware store. Diner food at it's worst...at least for lunch. We had had breakfast at Henry's in the past and it was pretty good, so now that our favorite diner in Troy is closed, we decided to give it a try. My stomach is really sorry we did. We were greeted by a rather surly waiter, who although efficient, acted like he would rAther be anywhere but where he was. An eye roll when I opted for water as my drink sure didn't help his case. I ordered the egg salad sandwich on wheat with fries, my husband the chicken salad. He asked for grilled, he got fried. My fries arrived a cold greasy mound of...well, slop. The waiter, having perked up by now, apologized and got me a new plate... Of hot, greasy, floppy, undercooked fries. Ugh. You had to search for the egg salad within the sandwich. ( I think the lettuce was thicker), but the single beet garnish really made the plate ( not ). My husbands salad was small and nothing special. Portion was small and he was so hungry afterwards that he came home and made a sandwich. He did like the iced tea though. My advice, stick to breakfast, or skip it all together. read more

My husband and I live in New England but spent our honeymoon in Montana and Libby was the closest city to our cabin. It's getting hard to find places like Henry's. A solid American Diner with a great menu selection, friendly service, and very clean. My daughter and I ate here during a recent motorcycle trip. I love Henry's! As children we would often go with my grandparents. I love the home family feeling. Very much so a mom and pop establishment that offers home style cooking. The staff knows everyone. As far as food goes... I have only been disappointed once in the many of times I have eaten here. I love the Italian salad dressing that they make, that alone is enough of a reason to go. Based on the previous reviews I was prepared to really enjoy this restaurant. The waitress was very nice and attentive. I ordered an open faced roast beef sandwich with potatoes and gravy (one of my favorites for comfort food) and my husband ordered the Reuben that had been recommended by our waitress. I thought the roast beef sandwich was "OK" and would consider ordering that again but the Reuben had chewy pastrami, saurkraut looked like standard out of the jar stuff and the suace was nothing noticeable so probably wouldn't order that again. I don't know how this restaurant got the good reviews. We went there because of the good reviews. We will not return to this restaurant. When the fries were put on the table they looked promising. They were cold. Period. I had fried chicken the chicken breast was cold. It tasted ok. Just ok. The salad bar ( included ) wasn't great-No tomatoes or cucumbers. Very limited choices. But my poor husband's meal was pathetic. Of course the fries were cold. ( diners should at least have good fries) I wish I had taken a picture of his fish. If I was the cook I'd be ashamed to even serve that mess! Two of the pieces looked ok but one looked like it was rolled in flour after being fried if it was even fried. ( asked why the fish looked so different-maybe from a different company they said.) Can't even describe it. (That's why I wish I had taken a picture.) maybe the whole disastrous meal can be chalked up to time of day ( mid-afternoon) they were not busy. Two other tables with customers. What a nice surprise, My Mother, Brother and I were traveling from Glacier National Park to Sandpoint, Idaho and stopped at Henry's for breakfast. We stopped at Henry's as we passed through Libby knowing that it would be a while til we hit the next town for food. The food was alright, I had the party melt and it was just what I expected. My boyfriend and I like to ask the locals what we should see before we go leave town. We mentioned wanting to go to the damn but our server told us about the swinging bridge and falls down the street. We took his advice and skipped the damn and went to the bridge. Stopped here the other day (June 2014) while I was on vacation. This is one of the few remaining "coffee shop" style restaurants - sit down, and turn your coffee cup right-side-up if you want coffee. No frills good food at a good price. Breakfast 24 hours, sandwiches, burgers, dinner selections, and a Juniors & Seniors menu. Very good food, and very good help. Our waiter came around regularly (but not TOO often!) to refill drinks (water, coffee, iced tea) and check on us. He was very polite. I had the grilled ham & cheese with fries. The sandwich was served on garlic toast, fries were thin (like fast food) but very good. Filled me up. If you want a decent meal to fill you up and friendly, attentive service, stop in at Henry's. Great small restaurant! Very hometown feel. Ordered vegetable beef soup, tasted homemade, ordered Salisbury steak with baked potato, hot turkey sandwich with REAL mashed potatoes and gravy, and a slice of homemade pumpkin pie. Great service, good food, reasonable price, busy place, would definitely go back if we are back to this little town. We went at night and it was very difficult to see at night, they do not have a lit-up exterior sign, because their sign is INSIDE the restaurant. So at night it kinda looks like a laundromat. Only thing that I could even mention is that the food did lack salt, but there was a salt shaker, and it would be an excellent place for a low sodium diet. read more

I was excited to go here. I went for dinner with my family. The waitress was great. The food not so much. I got the roast beef dinner. It was dry roast beef lunch meat from a deli stacked on top of each other. The gravy was from a can or bag. The potatoes were the only thing homemade. My wife had the turkey dinner and it was the same thing, sliced deli meat. I don't recommend going for dinner. I did not go for breakfast. read more

Oh this was absolutely the worst diner experience anywhere. The food was bland and completely drenched in grease. Yes, diner food should be greasy but it should taste great too like good old American fatty delights. The server was completely grungey and needed to take a shower. Service was very poor as well. Free refill that you will absolutely never see and fast fried food that took over 20 minutes with only 4 other tables present. I expected far more from a local diner with such good reviews. read more
