1st the advertise a salad bar. Posted sign says it broken looks like it been broken for ages. Please update menu and your website. 2nd my Country Fried Steak came out out of the box in the freezer overcooked with package gravy. Worth climbing the stairs to this attractive restaurant with its wood sculptures and the carved wall murals. We had two meals here over a three week span passing through the lovely town of Libby. Both our meals were tasty, service was great, and we will definitely return. read more

Had to pay 35.00 pet fees for a room we never stayed in.. Clerk acknowledged she gave us the wrong room, but because we walked into it we were charged a pet cleaning fee for a pet friendly room. So we had to pay 35.00 for the wrong room. read more

Good food, good service. They have a small salad bar which is hard to find these days. There is no beer, wine or alcohol here but if you would like to bring wine in they will allow that and will provide you wine glasses to drink it out of. They will also allow you to bring in your own mimosa fixings. The interior is nothing fancy.; it is quite plain, actually. While the outside and inside are nothing to write home about, the food is what you are going to go here for. We had breakfast and it was super straightforward, smple down home cooking. read more

Five stars for the staff at the Venture Inn Restaurant. Everyone who works there is so nice and hospitable. The Venture Inn motel gives you a breakfast coupon for 6$ every night you stay there. So eating at their restaurant is a no-brainer. The food is solid and they do brown bag lunches to-go if you're heading into the mountains for the day. read more

I stayed at the Venture Inn 12/26/17-12/30/17. I ate breakfast at their restaurant each day. The room was nice and offered everything you needed. Everything worked the way it was supposed to and there were no issues. The fresh baked daily cookies were a nice touch! The restaurant was cozy and welcoming. I tried 4 different breakfast entrees. Each was cooked quickly and was also very tasty. Wait staff was all very friendly as well. If you are staying in the Inn, they also offer you a $5 off coupon each day at the restaurant for breakfast. This brought my total each morning to less than $5. read more

A friend and I stopped in here to celebrate her birthday with lunch. She got the beef sandwich in a picture on the menu and I got a fish strip plate that also had a picture. Neither meal looked anything like the meals pictured. And neither meal tasted good. No seasoning what so ever. The fish were too oily after being fried, like they didn't let the oil drain off. French fries only tasted like the oil, dry and no seasoning. We were both disappointed. read more

Venture Inn is our go-to breakfast spot! We always have timely, great service - always friendly and helpful. The food is nothing over the top, but it is consistently good! Our favorites are the hashbrowns with sausage gravy and when in season the pancakes with huckleberries. Portion sizes are perfect, and prices match. We've been roaming around in Montana for the last 4 days and this is by far the best meal I've had. Delicious fried chicken, great baked potato and a good salad bar. I've found it difficult to get good green beans in a restaurant but this place had the best I've ever eaten. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. Ate here with friends, I got the fried chicken. The fried chicken was so fried it was like biting into a piece of freakin charcoal. After taking off all the skin from the chicken, which was a shame (perfect waste of getting the fried chicken in the first place if you ask me). The chicken it's self was okay, but some pieces like the breast were a tad on the dry/need water to eat side.The mashed potatoes were decent but too small a serving, I could tell the veggies were of the canned sort.The waitress was a bit rude also, and didnt bring us napkins after asking a few times. Took my family to this restaurant tonight. Ordered a chicken fried steak and a fish platter for my wife then some simple 5$ kids items. Prices are fare, food is decent. But salad bar was far from being appetizing. The cheep iceberg salad mix was wilted and looked as if it had been refrigerated several times as though to save and reserve. Cucumbers were far from being fresh. Most of the vegetables had a wilt to them unfortunately. But worse than the vegetables was the poor service we got. We received our food but was checked on only once during our hour meal. And drinks were not refilled for my children. We won't be going back. It was a 60$ experience I won't repeat. read more

I ate here while staying at the hotel. I got the fried chicken special and was very pleased. It included 4 pieces of chicken, green beans, choice of side and a trip to the salad bar. I couldn't finish it but I wanted too. The batter on the chicken was light and freshly made. The salad bar wasn't huge but had a nice variety.
