My family and I came and had lunch here on 7-8-25. They have amazing food. I recommend the milkshakes. We only had one problem with this place. He was a tall skinny small bearded very flamboyant man that took our order at the regester. He had an attude problem. When he took our order he kept rushing us asking us if we was done and anything else in a rude attitude. Before we left we couldn't see the garbage can and asked him if we leave the stuff on our table or do we clean it up and throw it away somewhere? Being our first time here we did not know how it worked. With an attude the same rude guy response to that was "NO, you clean up your own mess. If you leave it on the table we will charge you". I don't know how he was planning on charging us? We cleaned up our table and left. We will still be back in the future and recommend the food here, but Burger Express management please fire the guy working the register. Driving into town I just wanted a burger. I was faced with a decision: McDonald's or burger express. I took risk, and drove to burger express. And holy damn, it was exactly what I wanted. The staff was incredible and even though they had a line out of the parking lot because of the drive through, they got my food to me in less than 5 minutes. OMG one of the worst customer service experiences ever at burger express. we love going their but not tonight their was a big Bitch in their drive threw tonight. we ordered 3 lemonade . one huckleberry and one strawberry my husband asked her nicely what one was what. she said re rude you will just have to guess and figure it out. wow they should be marked after they are made . the 3rd one was mango and they did not put any mango in it at all it was just lemonade. This is THE best local "fast food" restaurant in town. The owners are amazing and you can often find them right there taking orders, cooking food and bringing it out to the guests. Every time we come to Libby we have to come to the "Express." The food is really good and there is a variety to choose from. The employees are always friendly and happy to accommodate you. The ice cream choices are delicious and the restaurant is always spotless. It was my grandmas favorite place to eat and mingle with her friends. So our party of 9 came in at 740pm (closes at 8pm) got our food about 757pm and shut the light off before we were handed our food. They were very rude for a small town I was shocked. They couldn't get us out fast enough. There was a young lady doing the ice cream and see was great and another young man that came to our cars apologizing to us for how badly the staff was. I absolutely love the Burger Express! From the second you walk through the door the smell has you hooked. Fresh Billy goat Ice cream with a variety of flavors! The staff never disappoints. By far the best food in Libby. Burger is great! The food is consistent and when you don't wanna cook you know it's always there. From November to March they run daily specials which help it to not be quite as pricy. But honestly the soft shells are worth it alone. The chicken wraps are good also for a slightly less fattening option. I am a big fan of the soft bean. The huckleberry empanadas and by far the best thing on the menu. When summer hits I can't hardly wait to go and get one. There also is a quite a selection of ice cream. They do have Some coffee options but I wouldn't say they are the best. I recently moved back to Libby from Northern Arizona and I was glad to see Burger Express was still here. They've had several locations for years and the one in Libby looks to be the biggest and newest one. As expected, food was GREAT as I remember. My husband had never eaten here before and loved everything as well. The place is clean, efficient, family friendly, offers a great variety of food and soups. To top it off, there's an ice cream shoppe with absolutely generous and yummy Billy Goat ice cream. Staff was courteous, friendly and fast with our food. The previous review of 1 is definitely not the norm for this great place and I'm thinking was just party of very tired, hard working people. I ordered the Deluxe Chicken which comes with cheese and bacon. I think that it was $ 4.75, it didn't come with fries or anything but, the sandwich was really good. I thought that the curly fries, at over $2.00 was too expensive...based on my experience and other reviews, I will have to go back for a Huckleberry Shake! She either needs lessons in how to deal politely with customers, or she is a complete socially inept person. Everyone I bring here loves it. Mexi fries are bomb and Bean Stick Thursday is where it's at. Don't even have to talk about the rest of the menu, every things good. I should have known to stick with burgers in a burger joint. I tried the turkey and cranberry panini, which turned out to be utterly boring: two thin slices of pressed turkey on plain white bread. My first try was a total failure, because the sandwich was covered with melted cheese. I'm allergic to cheese, and I hadn't thought to ask whether a turkey and cranberry panini normally had cheese on it. The counter person was very nice about replacing the sandwich with a cheese-free version. The second time, I did manage to find the cranberry. A thin smear of cranberry jelly was hiding under the thin turkey slices. I don't recommend the experience. read more

There don't seem to be many reviews of places in Libby, Montana, so I will try to change this during my visit. The Burger Express is currently in a temporary location on the west side of town while their familiar location near McDonald's is being renovated. The Express has a fairly standard fast food menu of burgers, tacos, and burritos. I find their soft shell tacos strangely addictive, although you should not expect them to be authentic. They've never mixed up my order. Staff is generally nice and has no objections to you occupying a table for a long time if they aren't busy. You can get food to go (in their original location it's a drive-up, but in the temporary location you have to go inside) but it can actually be nice to sit in the air conditioning reading a local paper or people watching. It's more fun than the local McDonald's. The original location was wheelchair accessible and I expect when they finish remodeling it will be accessible, but the temporary location is not. The temporary location has one outdoor picnic table and the original location had no outdoor seating; I do not know what the remodeled location will offer. read more
