The staff are all super friendly and upbeat. We visited on a Monday evening after a full day boating and knew this was our best option for good food, fast. So easy and casual, walk in, grab your menus, find a table and then head to the beverage bar for serve yourself sodas or iced tea. Beers and other drinks are available to order from the servers. Our server Houston took our order and shortly thereafter our food came out, hot and delicious. Fried shrimp and cheeseburger both served with an abundance of French fries. Shrimp were large, seasoned and crispy outside, a small cup of coleslaw, tartar sauce and cocktail sauce too. It's nice to have a restaurant with consistency of food and service. Pretty cool ladies room, too! I've never seen such fancy marble accents and decor. read more

I had a few friends try this place and said I needed to check it out next time I'm in Eureka. We decided to take a trip up north one weekend to grab some burgers. I tried the Montana Huckleberry burger, which was very sweet and savory. It was great, but I think I would try the Big Sky burger next time. The fries and sauce options are great too. The service was awesome and the restaurant has a cool setup. Definitely worth a visit next time you find yourself in Eureka. read more

When you walk in, you grab menus and find a seat. The drinks are self serve so you head to the back for soda, coffee, fresh squeezed lemonade and more! A waitress will then greet you and take your order. Even though there were quite a few people, our meals came out super quickly. We ordered a side salad which came out first with apple slices, bacon and tomatoes.. (sounds funky in my mind but it was actually super good together) we poured some of their homemade ranch on top, mixed her up & we LOVED it! We then ordered the fish and chips & the just a plain cheese burger. The homemade sauces were all so good. The coleslaw had cilantro and was so refreshing. The fish was breaded super lightly and had great flavor. The burger, my husband said, was a burger! But they had famous burgers that looked like they would set the stage. I checked Yelp and Subway in tiny Eureka got 5 stars, but the Front Porch only got 4.5. Yelp, fix you're algorithm because this contest ain't even close. I'd take a cold/hot Dewey burger to my grave and would pick it a thousand times before a sub club with every prefab condiment choice. Only conclusion: Must be the Canadians (4 miles away) trying to subvert our way of life. The service here is friendly and fast. The menu will shock you, especially for a mountain town of just 1.500 fairly friendly and fiercely independent folk. Highly recommend the Dewey burger. Ordered it on a bet that ice cream on a burger with jalapeño and bacon must be a joke. Its no joke, Huckleberry. It's incredible. 9 kinds of bad for you, I'm sure, but worth it. If you're rolling through Lincoln County, hit this place and thank me later. And go to Kalispell for the Subway, or any of their other 12,000 locations across the globe. We live in Kent but are visiting family in Kalispell. I asked to go to a destination lunch and my SIL suggested Dewey Burger n Fish. It was a little over an hour to drive there but so worth the effort. We arrived with only 3 other tables going at around 2 pm. Service was quick and pleasant. 3 of us had different burgers and one had the fish. All were delicious with their various toppings. Plus, the sauces. Oh my, the cocktail, tartar, and Dewey sauces were all amazing. And they offer my favorite type of natural cut French fry. I am very remiss in that I did not take photos. OK I'm updating my review again. I saw on a community website that they were now serving flatbreads and oh my gosh what a great selection of flatbreads. I opted for the taco flatbread they are 12 inch and had sauce, mozzarella, taco meat, lettuce, tomatoes, drizzled sour cream and came with little packs of Tapatio. It was amazing. The flatbread was perfect texture and thickness, the toppings were flavorful with little tortilla strips on top. Just all-around great yumminess you have to come in and try these flatbreads. There was quite a menu full of them and something I'm sure would appeal to anyone. Great job. read more

Quite possibly the tastiest burgers we've ever had! So good, we went two days in a row while staying nearby. We had the bbq burger, spicy jalapeño burger, chicken club sandwich and big sky burger. It's a grill or burger house including veggies burgers for our vegan friends. I tend to order the fish & chips sometimes with battered shrimp too. They make an awesome lobster roll! We were passing through Eureka while doing some sightseeing and came across this place. Ended up being a highlight of our trip to northwest MT. I had the fish tacos, which were some of the best I've ever had. The rest of the family had different variations of burgers. NOT ONE DISAPPOINTMENT. And the huckleberry lemonade was so refreshing on a hot summer day. Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. Service was friendly and attentive and the owner (?) stopped by twice to check on us. Restaurant was nicely decorated, well lit and tables spread out. We ordered the Dewey Burger with Bacon; comes with delicious fries and a supply of ketchup and Dewey sauce for dipping. Husband said it was delicious. Also ordered Fish and Chips; cooked perfectly. My husband and I are visiting Whitefish from southeast Louisiana for our 10th anniversary and I wanted to drive to the Canadian border. I'm not sure what made us stop in at Front Porch, but we were glad we did. Quinn served us and she was a little spark, totally knowledgeable about the menu, and just as pleasant as if she was from down south herself. We got talked into trying the Montana Huckleberry, a huge burger with cheddar, jalapeños, bacon, huckleberry jam, AND huckleberry ice cream...on the burger. We were apprehensive, but dang it was tasty, and the sweet potato fries were perfection. We will absolutely make a trip back to Eureka in the next couple days to sample a few other items on the menu before we head home. What a great find!! read more

I usually eat here once a month and I'm never disappointed. For lunch I had the spicy fish tacos. Usually they are not breaded, but the owner offered to bread them and I'm glad he did. The coating was crispy and stayed on. If ordered non- breaded, the fish is seasoned with spice that is spicy.. and flavorful(.not too spicy though). It's served on white corn tortillas with cabbage and tomatoes. The sauce is a chipotle which I liked, but the garlic aloil was even better. The owner also brought out homemade bread rolls(all bread he is freshly made). I couldn't stop eating them! They now serve beer and wine. For dessert, I had their famous baklava.. don't leave without getting one! read more

So if you aren't smart enough to stop here when you're heading through town, that's your loss. Just order the Dewey burger, exactly as it comes (don't be a pansy and ask for substitutions) also get extra Dewey sauce on the side and regular fries. Their fries are like crack, and the sauce will change your life, it's so delicious. You also will have a great selection of Montana beers, and the house wine is actually decent for a burger joint. Every time I I go here l, I get my food and think, "oh, man, there's no way I will finish this!!" And then 10 minutes later, "holy crap, someone totally ate all my food!" Seriously, just go. Now.
