This place has great pizza . I have yet to be there and the pizza was not good. The service is good and very efficient even on game day. The restaurant is very spacious, multiple bars, fresh parmesan, garlic. They offer outside seating, gelato and other things besides pizza.

We came to dine here before a concert. It was packed, looked like a company event. The team member at the counter, Chasidy, was not nice. No smile whatsoever. Like she was annoyed she had to take our order. Other than that experience, it was mostly pleasant. The pizza was good. We liked that the extras were self-serve. Although it definitely gave us the "don't bother us with anything" vibe. We'll be back for the pizza but most likely will go to a different location instead.

Ambiance is electric! It's the battery! Service is good, nothing out of the norm. Just people hustling. Food is wonderful! Brick over pizzas and they come out pretty fast. It's a great spot! :)

A terribly built pizza

I don't know how this made it past three people and all of them were like "this is a good pizza". Who looked at this and told themselves "yeah, let's give this guy two slices that are 80% bread.....". I seriously thought I was getting pranked when I opened this...

I got the Margherita D.O.P. pizza with sausage which included an Italian style red sauce for a base and was topped with spinach also. I added some available pepper flakes and Parmesan. The pizza naturally comes thinly sliced and was cooked in a wood fire oven. The pizza size is about medium to large in comparison to average pies. With all the fresh and unique toppings combined, it was perfect match. Very light yet flavorful. Service was good, you order than find a seat and wait for your pizza to be ready at the counter. There was seating available inside and outside. We sat inside near the bar and condiment. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

So good crispy and loaded with flavor

Words can't describe how cold the beer is or how delicious the pizza is baked in 700 degrees of the pizza gods hell zone, this place has pizza down to a science

4.5 overall! The location is great in the Battery, versatile for date nights or just for some fresh, tasty pizza. We got the Sophia and Diavola pizza, and they came out very fast for how busy they were and it was piping hot! The Sophia was a nice garlic cheese base, with onions, mushrooms, and truffle oil on top. The flavors were so mild yet prevalent and complemented each other so well, especially the onions which added a touch of sweetness to cut through the richness of the pizza! I really loved this pizza a lot! The Diavola was also good, it is a red sauce base with spicy peppers and a meat similar in flavor to pastrami, but thinner. This was also good but not particularly special, I definitely prefer the Sophia. For dessert we got their pistachio gelato which was delicious!! Super strong flavor and a nice, creamy texture! Definitely could come here just for ice cream. Service was good, they were really fast! You walk in, order and seat yourself, and then they call your name and you collect the pizza to eat. Coming back for that Sophia!

I love Antico. Casual atmosphere with darn good pizza! This review is for the Battery location. Table side service is not available. Go up to the counter to order food and drinks. Try the Diablo with its perfect pepperoni. Add a drizzle of chili oil to kick it up a notch. Pair it with their mean old fashioned from the bar and don't forget a sweet finish - the cannoli or gelato. It will not disappoint.

Laaaawd have mercy!! This pizza was FIREthe lasagna pizza I live in Tennessee but I will travel 3 hrs for this pizza! They was quick with it too! Very comfortable atmosphere Very relaxing, they had some games on, pretty cool place!

Excellent hand tossed pizzas , service was very fast as it was game day and they were extremely busy. Good family place, does have loud music. Game time Pizza Vibe.

Yum!! I've heard so many great things about Antico and I'm so glad I got to try it! I got the lasagna pie and it was delicious - I rarely ever eat my crust but I actually wanted to eat this crust. The food also came out in record time! I was floored by how fast they were. I felt like we sat down, got our plates, waters, and toppings, and then our pizza was ready! The lasagna pie was $22 pre tax - a bit pricey for pizza but definitely worth it if you split with others. I wish they offered slices but I believe they only offer whole pies. Free 2 hour parking in any of the garages in the battery area. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating

One of the best neapolitan style pizzas in Atlanta. I'm a pretty basic topping pizza lover so not being able to make substitute or add on things wasn't an issue for me. I like the simplicity. We got the Margherita with Pepperoni. Crust thin and crispy. Just the right flavor for the sauce. It looked absolutely delicious. Loved every bite.

Gave her recommendations and brought me out a small birthday cake. 9/10 Food was delicious- we had the Caesar salad which was enough for two and it was delicious!! 10/10 We also had the burrata cheese with tomatoes and sliced peaches which were all grown locally from a farm. 10/10 Our main course was the sea bass and Cacio e Pepe and it was really good. Pasta is made fresh. It was really tasty. I didn't have any of the sea bass but my date said it was superb. Street parking is near and valet parking is there as well. I put in the notes of my reservation that it was my birthday and everyone stopped by my table and greeted me with a warm happy birthday. That was a really nice touch. My waitress offered me a free glass of champagne for my birthday and I definitely wasn't gonna turn that down. I got the veal meatballs as my appetizer. I love that they were weren't heavy and dense. They were very light and delicious. I also chose the chopped salad, but I wanted it to come out with my entrée. The chopped salad was good. Had pepper notes to it. The only thing I would do next time is ask for it not to be green peas in it. Just because I'm not a fan. For my entrée I got the cannelloni. The lamb shoulder inside was so tender. It was very cheesy and delicious. It also had green peas in it, which I didn't pay attention to on the menu. I would also ask for there not to be green peas in the kennel only again that's just my taste. But that did not stop me from eating it all. I also had the blood orange margarita which was really good. This was my first time at this restaurant, but it definitely will not be the last. I loved the vibe of the restaurant.

Before the entree, they brought out some fun palette cleanser shooters. Service was good. We had fun kikiing with our waiter. He told us about some of the celebs that have been here lately. I wasn't exactly sure who my server was, as multiple people visited my table, but they got the job done. The food was fine, but nothing stellar. I ordered the baked clams, which were pretty small and costs 18.95. It was one of the only appetizers I wanted, as their menu is pretty short. I also got the lobster ravioli and the N/A Limoncello spritz, which were also fine. It's more of a rustic Italian spot, so you won't see things like mozzarella sticks and things like that. While I'm glad I was able to visit this iconic restaurant, I think it's a one and done for me!

I randomly decided that I wanted Italian so we decided to check them out for the first time. Mezza Luna is located in a very small plaza with a tight parking lot. I'm so glad that I read the reviews in advance about parking, but I still wasn't prepared for what we saw. Surprisingly, there were 2 or 3 open spots when we visited around 7pm. We had reservations and were quickly seated after being greeted. The restaurant itself was quite intimate, offering only a few tables that were laid out in a manner that had us all quite close. But it worked! Since we had our son with us, they already had a high chair ready for us but he slept through the entire dinner, which also shows how peaceful it actually was in there. I started with a glass of chianti and it paired perfectly with the complimentary starter bread. That focaccia was so fresh! The crust had a great crunch but it was still soft and fluffy inside. We went with the meatball appetizer special which included 4-5 meatballs covered in marinara, fresh tomatoes and burrata. They were delicious, although the tomatoes being cold was a bit of a surprise. For dinner, I went for the chicken piccata and my partner opted for the chicken marsala. Both were great and packed with flavor. Such an unassuming place with tons of flavor waiting inside - perfect for date night or just a nice Italian dinner!

Needless to say, we enjoyed our experience here for dinner. Husband and I came to celebrate my birthday - he was a bit upset they didn't offer anything for my birthday even though he notated it on the reservation, but I didn't really care for it as I don't like having the attention on me. This place is hard to miss as it's right on Roswell Rd. There is complimentary valet parking available, but there's also free parking at a deck just a few steps away from the restaurant entrance. We were greeted by the hostess as soon as we walked in and the restaurant was already very busy for a Saturday 6 pm dinner. Our server was fine, and the food was decent. I opted for the blackberry fiz mocktail, which was super sweet at first, but with a good mix, it was super refreshing. For starters, we shared the eggplant balls (a must get here!) and the bread service. The eggplant balls were definitely shareable and were probably our favorite thing we ate. The bread service you could probably skip - we wish it was served with vinegar instead of just oil and an olive tapenade. For entrees, I ordered one of the dinner specials, grilled branzino served with broccolini and potatoes. My husband ordered the ravioli. I really enjoyed the branzino, it was tender and the skin was cooked crispy. I loved that the broccolini was charred enough, but wish the potatoes were cooked a bit more. The capers added the needed saltiness to the dish, though I wish this was served with lemon or something to balance out the flavors. My husband enjoyed his ravioli but found it too heavy with the cream sauce. We thought this was a decent place for dinner, but nothing really stood out besides the eggplant balls.
