Yum! Saw all the great reviews and was going to be in the area and love seafood so stopped in and this place did not disappoint! Food: Jumbo Fried Shrimp platter had lightly fried shrimp which were delicious and a generous serving of fries. They were nice and crispy crinkle cut a favorite! Hush puppies were good and the Cole slaw wasn't my favorite but I am particular about my Cole slaw. The 6in sausage po-boy was also delicious and huge! The gentleman who took our order was kind and friendly. There are seats inside to wait for your order but they do not allow you to eat inside even though there are tables. Just an FYI! It's pretty bare bones inside but still good food! Will be back!

Great amount of seafood for a very fair price. The greens were as good as I get in Mississippi. The owners are from La, so it's a vast menu.

A primarily take-out restaurant that serves fried seafood and Vietnamese sandwiches. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a couple of small booths if you want to eat your food there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The seafood was excellent! I highly recommend the fried fish! We tried the Bahn Mi sandwich it got high reviews but I wasn't impressed with it until I put a piece of the fish on it. We tried to go back the next day to get the fried fish and French fries again but they closed an hour early.

Looking for a quick bite before our long drive back home, we stumbled across Anthony's Seafood on Yelp. Apparently they have the best Vietnamese sandwiches aka banh mi here. Growing up in a Vietnamese household, I know what good banh mis taste like! I wasn't disappointed when I tried both the special and the grilled pork ones. First off, for $5-$5.50, these sandwiches are huge. Think of a large sub- that's how massive they are. Both were jam packed with delicious, tender, and nicely flavored meat. There was so much meat that it felt overwhelming at times. Give this place a try! They are currently doing takeout only but you can go inside and order.

Takeout during Covid has become the norm in 2020. The hubs and I had completed a few errands, and Anthony's seafood was within the vicinity of our location. They have a small parking lot, so keep your eyes out and gps on as it's easy to pass by. Upon entering, I noticed a beach theme in decor. It's very clean with a few tables and chairs. Three large framed menus were displayed to the left on the wall by the counter. It looked like there was only one person working that day. The hubs and I took a few minutes before we decided on a 1/2 lb of fried shrimp, small fries, 12 inch hot sausage po-boy, 12 inch shrimp po-boy, and special bahn mi sandwich. It took about ten minutes for our order to be ready to take back home. So... let's start with the special bahn mi sandwich. It was advertised as a combination cold cut of grilled pork sausage, Vietnamese ham, house mayo, pate, pickled carrots, daikon, cucumber, jalapeño, and cilantro. It was the least favorite for me. The bread used was a hero loaf, and not the typical airy baguette. The shredded carrots lacked the sour pickled flavor. The cool sliver of cucumber was somewhat limp, but the meats were ok. It was hard to savor for more since it lacked the aromatic flavors and textures that would make a bahn mi divine. The seasoning for the shrimp was quite salty and bland. 12 inch hero loaf was utilized for both shrimp and hot sausage po-boys. The description stated that it would be dressed with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and pickles. Umm the hot sausage was deep fried to death.... As for the shrimp po- boy it was crispy. That is crucial, as no one wants soggy shrimp where the breading falls off. I wished mayo was laced on the bread to revitalize it's flavor. I did love the abundance of shrimp in my po-boy. Tarter, hot sauce, and cocktail sauce is available upon request. This is a great place for those on a budget. It can easily feed a family of four. The hubs and I will try Anythonys Seafood again. The crab cake sandwich caught my eye on the first visit ;) Support local!

Don't judge a book by its cover or facade. Probably the best Bahn Mi in the area. Shrimp Po' boy was on point also.

I hate to say it but I didn't like it. I ordered a cheesesteak and a chicken cheesesteak egg roll. My biggest complaint with both was the meat was chopped way too fine for me. I'm use to big slices of steak and chicken in my cheesesteaks. The sub roll was also not substantial enough to stay intact when I bit into it. It just fell apart. I will try this place again when I'm visiting the area because like I said earlier others thought it was great. I'll also go earlier next time because I overheard the cook say while I was waiting, "here comes the end of the night rush." They had some good foot traffic.

It serves Philly-style cheesesteaks, samplers, egg rolls, exceptional customer service, and some of the Best Wings I have had in the area! The restaurant is relatively small and gloomy, with enough seating to hold about 20 people for dine-in; however, this place is not a dine-in but a takeout place. I like that they put their full menu online, unlike other places that only put limited items. Service is outstanding; my first time calling in an order, the server not only told me how long it would be. Also, on this occasion, after calling in my order and completing the call, the server realized there was something that they did not have at the time. So she took the time to call and let us know and offered us something else. It was honorable in my eyes that she did that. Lastly, when I arrived, she double-checked to ensure my order was correct before I left the store. I had a cheesesteak, and my wife had the same. They were served hot, cheese melted all the way, and tasted terrific; the only problem was they were light with the meat. This is a very unique menu. They have sampler platters that can feed an army or combo platters that can feed two, and the price is right. You can mix and match them or have the pre-selected item. Now, let me talk about these wings. AMAZING! Fried to perfection, seasoned with a wet or dry rub, plain or on the side. These are cooked to order, so if you get wings to go, they are still hot when you get home. These wings are excellent, and you get them whole or halved. The wings are a must-try; they are some of the best in the area! I recommend you call ahead, but if you don't, there is a seating area where you can wait. I will be back! Happy Yelping!

She recommended the turkey wings, so I went with that. I like my turkey wings well done and nicely browned, and I specifically requested the brownest ones in the batch. She told me they had just come out and were well done. When I got home, only the top wing was browned--the one underneath wasn't--which was frustrating since I made a very specific request. She also seemed to have a slight attitude about the request, which didn't help. The turkey wings themselves were just okay. The cabbage could've used more seasoning, but the white rice and gravy were good. Unfortunately, the cornbread that was supposed to come with the meal was missing. I placed a takeout order and experienced an unacceptable wait time of over one hour with very little communication regarding the status of my food. Throughout the wait, I received no meaningful updates from the server, despite being one of the last customers remaining in the restaurant. The server appeared to be the only employee handling customers and moved very slowly, which further contributed to the delay. While waiting, I observed several concerning issues that reflected poorly on the restaurant's professionalism and food service standards. Kitchen staff were openly arguing and using inappropriate language, including profanity, within earshot of customers. This behavior created an uncomfortable environment and was highly unprofessional. Additionally, I observed staff members walking around while wearing gloves and touching various surfaces and items before handling food. This raised concerns regarding proper food safety and sanitation practices. After waiting more than an hour, I finally received my order only to discover that the food was cold and one of the items I paid for was missing entirely. Despite the lengthy delay, poor service, and missing item, no apology was offered by any member of the staff. I ultimately left the restaurant with an $87 bill and a completely unsatisfactory experience. As a paying customer, I expected better communication, professionalism, food quality, and customer service. Unfortunately, none of these expectations were met. I am requesting that management review this incident and provide an appropriate response regarding the concerns outlined above. I would also appreciate consideration of a refund, credit, or other resolution given the significant issues with my order and overall experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you regarding how this complaint will be addressed.
