I first came here when they originally opened in their old location across the parking lot. I loved the ambiance, and the food was genuinely great, so I was excited to support them. Unfortunately, my opinion started to change after I placed a to-go order for my family. About three minutes after ordering, I realized I had accidentally selected the wrong sauce for my mom's meal. I immediately called back to see if it could be changed. I was told it had already been sent to the kitchen, which I understood. What I didn't understand was how rude the staff was about such a simple request. I then asked if I could place a new order instead, but they refused that as well. At that point, I didn't want to pay for a meal my mom didn't want, so I asked them to cancel the order altogether. If the order was already in the kitchen, I genuinely don't see what the difference was between canceling it and making a quick adjustment. The entire interaction left a bad impression, mostly because of how I was treated. I didn't return for over a year, but I recently decided to give them another chance at their new location with my aunt. Unfortunately, it was even more disappointing. The food was terrible. The calamari tasted flavorless and rubbery, with more than half of it being just fried batter. My shrimp scampi came in a watery, flavorless sauce, and our waiter was rude throughout the meal. On top of that, the atmosphere has completely changed. What once felt like a cozy, slightly upscale Italian restaurant now feels more like a run-down Olive Garden. I'm not someone who likes to complain or make a scene, so I didn't say anything while we were there. But after two disappointing experiences, I can confidently say I won't be returning. There are far better Italian restaurants in the metroplex so I hope anyone reading this doesn't waste their time here. read more

When I tell you everything was a HIT, honey that's what I mean!!! Everything was fresh, we got a wide variety (tiramisu wasn't shown but that was amazing as well) of dishes to try. I didn't know what to expect because I randomly selected this restaurant. I was instantly impressed with the hostess and the decor. When I got to my table my server Eddie instantly enhanced the experience. He made superb recommendations. I ended up with the toasted ravioli for an appetizer and the rigatoni à la bolognese for my main. I assure you, you will not go wrong with either. The bolognese had a very deep rich flavor and the ravioli was filled with a delicious cheese. I am too full for desert and I am sad about that. I hope you enjoy this gem as much as I did. read more

A great neighborhood place. Classy environment (although not a fan so many booths; wish they had more tables). Food is consistently stellar. We always get the bruschetta as it is amazing. Their house salad is top notch-especially their house dressing. We rotate among baked ziti, sausage and peppers, and chicken parm. All are wonderful. We've had their pizza and it's quite good. We had them cater an event a few months ago and everyone loved the food. (And they were easy to work with.). Owners are friendly. We've been coming here for years and will continue. read more

Owner was so rude and combative. I'm a delivery driver and came to pick up an order. I've picked up here many many times before and never had a problem and never had to wait more than a few minutes. This time, I was told it would be 5 minutes. I went and sat down. At 12 minutes I walk up to ask again and the girl says I can take a seat and she'll bring it out. I rolled my eyes and didn't say anything, which the owner saw me do. After 20 minutes the owner himself goes to hand me the order, and though I'm upset I simply say "this is ridiculous, y'all should work on your time estimates because if I knew y'all hadn't started the order and it would be 20 minutes I would have unassigned a long time ago" I wasn't speaking aggressively, but I guess that's how he took it because he starts yelling at me, verbally attacking me, while I'm just trying to tell him that on their POS system they have the ability to "add time" to the order's completion to avoid this situation. He wouldn't listen, but verbally attacked me and I ended up shaking and crying in my car. He refused to give me the order. read more

I used to love this place. That was until two weeks ago I placed a to-go order and picked it up myself. The usual- two fettuccine Alfredo's with the house salad and bread. My boyfriend and I got home and he opened the bread and handed me a slice. I literally kid you not, the slice of bread had a BITE MARK. I went yesterday, I asked the guy at the to-go order pickup desk for the manager, and he returned saying the manager was busy and he could take a message. Oh! He's busy? He was standing at the bar talking to someone. Very nice. So I told the guy what happened and he said he heard about that. That's funny... I didn't write a review or tell anyone besides my boyfriend who saw it. TURNS OUT, they have had an issue like this BEFORE! The employee told me it was an uber delivery last time and they're aware of the issue. But I didn't place an uber eats order last time. I don't even use Uber eats. So clearly, it's not uber. It's the RESTAURANT. I asked if they reuse the bread that isn't "used" from customers dining in, and the employee laughed and said no. How else did I get a USED piece of bread with a bite mark... I really just wanted to tell the manager and be nice about it but clearly he doesn't care so now I'm here informing you all that this place gave me (and other customers) used bread with a bite mark. Do you want a bargain? I swear the two of us can eat their lunch specials cheaper than our Chik-fil-a order! We've eaten at their new location 3 times and ordered the same thing. We both have tendency to do this when we've hit "that" menu item. The pasta lunch specials are $12.95. My husband gets chicken Alfredo with soup and is happy. I get spaghetti bolognese with salad. The bolognese is different from my Italian Nonna's and my mother's and is very delicious without the heaviness of some meat sauces. The salad is a good mix with the house dressing. Service was pleasant and all our questions were answered. There is a large bar that seems a nice addition to the area. We are not big drinkers but good to be available. We live in the neighborhood and have been late to discover as I'm am very wary of Italian restaurants having grown up with the real thing. read more

Well I finally tried them today and I am happy I did! From the warm greeting when you walk into, to the soft relaxing music playing in the dining room, this place knows how to set a nice, yet casual and pleasant atmosphere! The service was impeccable. No beat was lost. Our server Olivia visited with us about our menu questions and was on the spot anytime we needed anything. The food was amazing. We ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and also Eggplant Parmesan. We ordered the lunch portions but had plenty left over to take home with us for lunch tomorrow! We'd only tried the original/BYOB location years ago and didn't love the food. At the new location, we were delighted to find a full bar and high-quality Italian food. We split a pizza, Italian chop salad, shrimp pasta and all were delicious. The martini, lemon drop and wine were also great. Our server was excellent and we can't wait to return. Wine we ordered apparently arrived late that day (per server) & wasn't chilled so we were offered an alternative. Food came out in batches but was tasty except broccoli was undercooked. Long gaps between server visits. Tiramisu was nice except for mounds of decorative whipped cream. Staff training and better organization needed to achieve potential. Food isn't that great, but edible. Very overpriced. I had the shrimp scampi for $18 and was served 6 small recently frozen shrimp on a mass of pasta in flavorless broth served w a slice of lemon. The kind of food that makes you feel bad when you get the check. My friend had a calzone which is likely a better choice in this sort of place. Pizza dough folded over cheese. Hard to go wrong there but still spendy at $15 w only pepperoni and mushrooms. Still it was better than the scampi. I was so disappointed. Pretty pricey and not that good. We've eaten at Eataly at Northpark recently - hand made pasta and sauces, house baked bread and fresh salads - less expensive ! and way better in quality and taste. Overall sad experience.
