The place is larger than one would think. The back room seating is great. So the service is exceptional and the food wonderful. I've been there twice and loved it both times. I made reservations three months prior and still had to eat at 5:15 or 8PM or later. It's one of those places you might want to make a reservation the day you eat there! Loved it! read more

Do not hesitate to have your permanent makeup done by Danette. I recently had a re-do of the eyeline I had done initially by her in 2016. She is amazing. She does a great job and the outcome is so pretty. Equally important is the comfort level you will have with her. Let's be honest; it is scary having a tattoo gun so close to your eye. Danette tells you exactly what to do, where to look and talks to you the entire time. Her calm and sweet demeanor helps get you through it. I now know to just relax and trust her. So take it from me! Just do it. I can assure you that she will do an excellent job, you will love the outcome and you can trust that she will be patient, gentle and guide you through it. read more

Danette is wonderful. I went to her for upper and lower eyeliner and I couldn't be happier. She is extremely professional and talented. At 72 years of age, it is unlikely that I will have this done again but if I decide on any further procedures, I will definitely go to Danette. Thank you so much, Danette, for great experience and an excellent outcome. Deb. read more

I got permanent eyeliner years ago and my 70+ aged mom, decided that she couldn't see well enough to put on eyeliner anymore and wanted to get her eyeliner done. So, I came to Yelp to find someone and Danette came up with loads of good reviews. Well, she deserves every single good review she has gotten. She is totally lovely. She put my mom at ease, because my mom was nervous about the eyeliner tattooing. We did a lot of breathing and reassurance on the ride to the appointment. My mom left the experience saying things like, "that was easy, why was I so nervous?" And, just, if not more important, the eyeliner looks great and healed beautifully. My mom will be going back for her touch up with a much lighter heart. One last thing, the office is very professional and clean. I highly recommend Danette to anyone wanting to go the permanent makeup route. read more

Danette did a great job with my eyeliner. I wanted something thin and minimalistic. She has a steady hand and her work was very precise. Danette was patient with me fluttering my eyes and twitching. She is super friendly and seems to have lots of good experience in the field. I was happy when my eye doctor, while looking at my eye under a large lens, commented that my permanent eyeliner was some of the best she'd ever seen because it was so thin and close to the lash line. I must admit, the process hurt a lot more than I anticipated. (Disclaimer, I have had no prior tattoos and have a fairly low pain tolerance.) Next time I would clear out my schedule afterwards so I could go home to ice and rest. I hadn't planned for that and had to go to a meeting afterwards. It looked like I had been crying all day. It's been almost three months, and I love my permanent eyeliner. I recently went back for my 2nd appointment and Danette touched up one corner ever so slightly. They look perfect! read more

I wanted something that would perk me up. I considered an eye lift but I did not really have $4,000.00. I decided that I could afford getting brow, and eyeliner tattoo so I looked at all the reviews of all the artist in Seattle and Danette got the highest reviews. I really understand why, she is confident, professional, and very talented. She works like an artist. I looked a little red the next day, but no one person noticed, I just got comments that I looked well rested. I am so happy that I found Danette, it was a very pleasant process from beginning to end. I look and feel so much better. I have done something that I have not done since I was a teenager, go out in public with only a little blush and a little lipstick, I feel young again. Thanks Danette! read more

I had been wanting permanent eyeliner on my upper lashes for years. Knowing that the results are wholly dependent on the skill of the artist, I did extensive research and found Danette. She comes highly recommended and has been doing permanent cosmetics for over 18 years. I felt anxious the first time I met Danette because I didn't know what to expect and I was afraid the procedure would hurt. But Danette was great: she explained the process and was gentle, patient, and reassuring. And, it didn't hurt! This is the best thing I've done for myself. I love it! Danette's meticulous work gave me realistic-looking eyeliner. I love the results and I've been getting lots of compliments when I point out to my friends what I had done. Now they all want to have Danette do theirs too. I highly recommend her! If you are thinking about permanent makeup, don't hesitate to see her. read more

I had my lips and eyeliner tattooed by Danette last week and I am so happy with the results-its better than i could have hoped for. Danette helped me feel physically comfortable by numbing the areas and even stopped mid tattoo to apply more. Danette really helped me with deciding on colors for lips and eyes- I am so pleased with the colors and how they were tattooed on my face. Its only been a week and I have recommended her several times! read more

Danette is a lovely person, and really great at her job. I had a scar on my lip left over from a bizarre lip tumor. What I was left with was a white dot on my lower lip, and an uneven lip line to boot. I never quite felt comfortable going out without lipstick. The scar always left me feeling insecure. After years of not feeling at my best aesthetically, I decided to see if permanent makeup could help. Danette did a great job matching the color, and blending it to the right shade. The procedure was not very painful and was quick to heal. Now I look scarless and feel fearless. It's been liberating to leave the house wearing my own lip color and Chapstick. I highly recommend Danette for any permanent makeup procedures. She's talented, intuitive, and absolutely lovely. read more

Just finished my second time doing permanent eyeliner with Danette. Last time was over three years ago. She is professional and so good at what she does, but she is also very kind. She gets that it's hard to sit still etc and coaches you through. I have never been happier with a cosmetic procedure and will continue to only use her. I highly recommend her!!! read more

Danette is truly a pro at making your eyebrows look beautiful! I've been going to her for 19 years and I've never been disappointed. I strayed once to have microblading done and regretted it. I went back to Danette and she was able to correct the problems and put me back in business. My eyebrows look wonderful again and I've had many, many compliments over the years. Make an appointment. You won't regret it. read more

I love my new eyebrows. Danette is an amazing artist. She explained the microblading process completely and helped me choose the color that would look the most natural. She was patient, giving me time to sneeze and wiggle. Now, I wake up with eyebrows. I go to the gym, wipe sweat from my face and still have brows. I go swimming and still have brows. I can scratch an itch and not coming away with my brow under my fingernail! I was so tired on drawing on my brows. I could never get them even. The color was never right. My brows look completely natural. This is the best investment I have made for myself and it wasn't expensive. I was referred to Danette by a friend and will definitely recommend her to my friends. read more

Danette is amazing! I had my eyes tattooed and it was my first tattoo ever. It was a real struggle for me to keep my eyes still but she was extremely patient and made sure that they were perfect despite my challenging eyes. I am so happy with the results but I wish I had done it much sooner. I will absolutely go back to her if I want to do anything else and highly recommend her for any of your permanent makeup needs. She let me come back after the first round to make sure the job was perfect and do touchups anywhere we needed to. read more

Would highly recommend Danette. Just completed my touch up for brows and already completed eyeliner and I am thrilled with the results. I feel a bit more polished and wide-eyed for days I don't want to bother with make up. I was a little nervous but Danette quickly put me at ease. She explained everything in advance and helped me feel relaxed and comfortable. And then she did a great job, working at a pace that kept me as comfortable as possible and taking great care to give me the best results. She clearly has a passion for perfection and helping each client find a look they will love. Her many years of experience really makes a difference. I don't think you should trust this kind of procedure to just anyone. When I did my initial research I wanted to find someone who had a lot of experience and knew what they were doing. I suggest anyone thinking of this kind of procedure do the same. Danette is a real gem. Skilled, personable and professional. Thank you so much Danette! read more

Danette does BEAUTIFUL work. Not only is she professional, but she is very critical and critiques her work to a T. I would rather have her staring at my face for 10 minutes worried about whether or not she liked her straight lines, than having someone do my eyeliner who didn't quite care. Not only that, but she is awesome at determining the shade of eyeliner to use on your face due to your skin color, we opted for the darkest pigment for me since I wanted something bold and since I'm on the darker side and I absolutely LOVE it. She is also very forgiving for the ones that wince at any type of nervous or pain (*raises hand*). Such a simple easy process, quick and she is just a doll. I would advise ANYONE who wants eyeliner done, to see her. PS. She's located on the 10th floor of the same building as Nordstrom Rack in downtown Seattle, just on the other side of the building. read more

I got really tired of drawing in my eyebrows. I had a tropical vacation coming up and didn't want my eyebrows to disappear once I got in the water (you ladies know what I'm talking about) so I decided to do some research and came upon Danette's services. While she is not the cheapest out there, I also believe in you get what you pay for. With the extra, complimentary touch ups included in her service fee, I think it's well worth it. I was able to go back a couple of times and go a little darker than I originally thought I should go and fill in any little areas that didn't quite take on my face. While it's only been a few months, I am thoroughly happy that I finally bit the bullet. It is a tattoo, for those that have had tattoos in the past, so yeah...that, on your face. Painful for me, but tattoos in general are painful for me. It's short lived though and I'm super pleased with the results. Danette is very sweet and a perfectionist at what she does. You won't be disappointed! read more

Couldn't be happier with my experience getting permanent eyeliner with Danette. She was the perfect mix for me - did not waste a moment of my time, but was patient and attentive in ensuring I got exactly what I was looking for. And most importantly, I absolutely love how it looks!Would definitely recommend. read more

Danette originally tattooed my eyebrows in 2006. I've had touch-ups every couple of years, the latest one this month. She is professional, friendly and a calming influence while working. I'd never trust this work to anyone but Danette! My eyebrows look so much better and permanent cosmetics are a huge time saver Every. Single. Day. I'm considering other procedures now, to save even more time. You won't regret your decision to see Danette. read more

"It has been nearly a year since I got my upper and lower lid eye liner tattooed by Danette. The length of time between this great service and my testimonial is the same reason I paid for this wonderful service. I am much TOO BUSY all the time. I am constantly traveling for work, being filmed, lecturing, and putting on eye liner every day not only took a lot of time, but was a lot of hassle throughout the day. Before my permanent eye liner I would leave a good 10 minutes to put on and then, in case it was needed, correct, take off, then re-do my liner. Because I wear contact lenses grease from my makeup would require me to take out my lenses and clearn them or struggle with cloudy vision. Flakes of liner could fall into my eye and I could have a painful contact lens 'emergency' at any time, even in the middle of a lecture to 200 people. Having to leave a stage to take out a painful contact lens was embarrassing and unprofessional. Now I wake up in a hotel or at home, so much more ready to go. If I wake up late I don't have to worry about getting on my liner. I no longer run out of a consultation or lecture to adjust a lens, which used to happen about two times a week. Additionally, the lines above and below my eyes are just the right width, which is something I achieved only about 1/2 the time when I applied my own make-up. I love my permanent eye-liner! And I cannot thank Danette enough for her patience. I am extremely reactive to anything near my eyes and my blink reflex is so strong I was afraid she was going to give up on me. But she did not, and I have saved a lot of time, embarrassment and hassle in my life because of her great work. . Thank you Danette. read more

I've had a scar through my left eyebrow since I was 5 and I have pondered doing this for years. I finally got enough courage and did it and I'm so happy I did!! Danette did a great job and I would highly recommend her. No more drawing in my brows for this girl!! read more

If you need permanent make-up I highly recommend Danette! She is knowledgeable and does a great job. Well worth it!

I have visited other permanent tattoo artists, and the experience left something to be desired. Danette was professional and made a huge effort to make sure everything is ok. I would recommend her again without hesitation. read more

Yes, Danette is as great as everyone says. I looked for someone with stellar reviews because if I'm going to trust them to do something permanent using a needle to repeatedly jab near my eyeball, I want the best. Danette suggested the perfect colors for my skin tone and hair color. She was gentle, took time to do it well, and explained everything so I knew exactly what to expect. I went back to work right after, with no down time. I wanted it to look very natural, just accentuated. And that's exactly what I got. LOVE! read more

Danette tattooed my lips. She took the time to learn what I wanted and asked questions to clarify. She numbs the lip which I would recommend for a full lip coloring. Danette has one free follow up for touch ups. She takes before and after photos. She asks about comfort level to add more numbing if needed. I will go back to her and will recommend. read more

I have alopecia areata and lost my eyelashes and eyebrows last year. I used eye pencils but I just never looked natural and winced every time I looked in the mirror. I decided to go for permanent makeup but was hesitant as I'd never had any tattoo experience and I wondered if it would really be natural-looking. After some searching, I scheduled an appointment with Danette since she had experience working on alopecians. If you are thinking about permanent makeup, don't hesitate. It makes a huge and fantastic difference. Now, when I look in the mirror, I recognize my face again. Danette's patient and meticulous work really did give me realistic-looking eyebrows and she was brilliant to suggest gray for my eyeliner. I love not having to worry about accidentally wiping off an eyebrow at work or the gym as well as being able to dash out the door without having to apply makeup. I highly recommend Danette's work; my only regret is not finding her sooner. read more

I selected Danette from her online suggestion that she was affiliated with the medical community. Not sure that is so. Felt her to be rough and it was a very painful experience. End result was less than complete even though I returned for touch up. Not many amenities in the office for comfort such a neck roll or comfortable bed or ice packs to help with swelling. It was a long 3 hour ride home. Much of the pigment has flaked off in the four months since it was done. Have since had eyes and brows redone and am quite pleased. Not much pain this time around and the job was completed! Sequim read more

I should just say ditto to all the other good reviews here! Today I received my first ever tattoo and it was Danette doing my eyebrows. She was so reassuring and professional! She reviewed everything before we began and gave me detailed after-care instructions. My eyebrows look amazing! read more

Got my upper eyeliner tattoo done earlier today. Danette's office is part of a doctor office, Heath building, Swedish hospital. She is super sweet and patient. I'm always a big baby and I survive this so I'm sure everyone else can! She took time explaining every thing. The numb solution burned my eyes a lil' bit but Danette was so patient and kept working gently around my squeeze tight eyes. She drew the line with surgical marker first. The vibration feeling of the tattoo gun and the sound of it made me uncomfortable and started to whine :( but you will have to this no matter where you go. Danette was so sweet and talked me through it. Every time she asked me to open my eyes so she can checked her work I would see her big smile :) My eyes are puffy now, like I cried all night but not bad at all, much less then what I expect it. I will post pictures in a week after healing process is done :) Very happy so far! Totally recommend Danette for permanent cosmetics! read more

I've had nothing but great results with Another You Permanent Cosmetics. I've been going to see Danette for 14 years now and wouldn't trust anyone but her! I had my eyebrows, upper and lower eyeliner done by Danette in 2010. Each year I have returned for touch-ups (fading does occur). I love the look and the ease of permanent make-up. The process can be an uncomfortable experience for some. However, Danette makes the session very tolerable. She is very patient and has a very soothing tone as she explains what she's doing and what to expect. This helped to squelch my fear of tattooing. Danette is not only a patient artist she also does a beautiful job. I would and have highly recommended her to anyone that asks me. read more

Danette is fabulous! My dental hygeinist recently asked me to remove my lipstick before she got to work. When I smiled, said "No," and explained why that was not possible, she was amazed at how good it looks. Both lipstick & eyeliner. Before I left, she was sure to get Danette's number from me. Danette's cheerful, calm, reassuring demeanor coupled with her artistic skill have made a fan for life out of me -- and I had been considering permanent makeup for over twenty years before I finally decided to JUST DO IT! read more

I had a pretty unusual need. I had bilateral mastectomies 17 years ago and did not opt for reconstruction. I wanted to have nipples tattooed on my chest. I am also currently in the process of transitioning from female to male, so I needed to have the nipples look like a male chest. Danette had not done this before, but she was willing to work with me and see if we could make it happen. Danette is a wonderful person, so kind and caring. She did a great job of setting everything up, consulting on colors and shape. I appreciated her confidence and competence. The process of getting the tattoos could not have been better. My wife accompanied me, and we all worked on the colors and shape together. Danette did a fabulous job. She was engaged and very enthusiastic about doing the tattoos. I would recommend her for any tattooing. The location is right in Seattle and easy to find. I love looking at my chest!!!!!! Thanks so much, Danette!!!! read more
