I was in early recovery from addiction, stressed, and dealing with a lot of heavy emotions. In the middle of all of that, I started losing hair in one of my eyebrows. It might sound small, but when you already feel vulnerable, something like that can hit your confidence hard. I was embarrassed and tried to hide it every day with my girlfriend's eyebrow makeup. After a while, I started to lose hope that it would ever grow back. My girlfriend suggested microblading, and that's how I found Amy. I came across her on Yelp and booked an appointment, but I was honestly nervous going in. From the moment I sat in her studio, Amy made everything feel simple and comfortable. She explained the process clearly, she was gentle, and she's just really, really good at what she does. When she finished, I looked in the mirror and felt relief for the first time in a long time. My eyebrow looked natural and full again. I didn't have to hide anymore. That small change gave me a boost of confidence I really needed while I was rebuilding my life. Now, over 2 years later, my real eyebrow hair has grown back, and I'm in a much healthier and happier place. But I still think about how important that appointment was for me. Amy didn't just do microblading, she helped me feel like myself again at a time when I really needed that. If you're considering seeing her, just do it. My appointment was scheduled for 10:00am. While I was parking, I received a call informing me that they had a scheduling conflict due to unknown reasons and asked if I could reschedule to 10:45am. I want to note that I've experienced occasional time adjustments here in the past, and I've always been understanding. However, this was extremely last-minute, and despite that, I still agreed to wait and proceed with the 10:45am appointment. Right before the rescheduled appointment, Carol told me to leave, citing my "attitude" as the reason. There was no apology for the original scheduling conflict and no attempt to handle the situation professionally. I'm not interested in debating the subjective interpretations of "attitude". The point is, if Carol believed that I should not receive service due to my "attitude," that should have been communicated immediately after I agreed to reschedule, not after I had waited in the salon quietly for about 20 minutes, right before the rescheduled appointment was about to begin. As I was leaving, Carol followed me outside and asked me not to post anything online about the incident, which I found inappropriate and concerning. This experience felt dismissive and unprofessional. I would not recommend this location.

More than two weeks before the appointment, the owner texted me asking me to put down a $75 deposit "since it is such a long appointment and when cancelled even 48 hours before it is hard to fill the entire slot." The booking website says all microblading appointments have a 7-day cancellation policy, so I was confused why she was even talking about 48-hour cancellation, but I put down the deposit anyway. I then planned my travels around this appointment, including booking a more expensive flight from New York so I could fly back to Seattle before Christmas to make it here. Come the day of, 1.5 hours before the appointment, the owner texted me that she would be 30 minutes late. Not a problem. But 45 minutes later, 45 minutes before the actual appointment, I got another text saying "Actually" she could no longer make it because she had Christmas shopping to complete. Sadly when both of her texts came in I was already on my way. It was raining hard and I was driving, and I didn't see them until after I arrived. I called her and got to vm. I then texted and said I would wait until 30 minutes past my appointment time. I never got a response and she never showed up. Christmas is not just her holiday, and time is not just her time. If Christmas Eve was a bad day, do not make it available and confirm the appointment weeks in advance. She and I both work in client-facing jobs. If I set a meeting with a client and try to reschedule on short notice but don't hear back, I show up. Her behavior is particularly uncalled for when she charged me a deposit so I would be respectful of her time. The respect was apparently not mutual. I asked her for a refund of my deposit. She ghosted me, and I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. I have not heard a single word from her since the "Actually can't make" text. Unless this sounds like something you want to deal with, take your business elsewhere.

Not only that but she also tells the client she was servicing during my rescheduled time that she has a client that shows up 45 min late and sits outside of the door waiting to confront her, instead of being honest about her busy schedule and acknowledging my presence. I tried to discuss my concerns with her behavior privately prior to the appointment and her response was to refuse service and call me condescending. I decided to leave to deescalate and as I'm walking out she decides to scream at me "no, listen to me! Look how youre acting right now". my response was there's nothing further to discuss have a good day.

I have gotten my brows done by Ria a few months ago and let me say that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HER WORK. I have always wanted to try micro blading but have heard terror stories of scarring or discoloration after a few years. I lived the look of it, but was unsure if I really wanted to commit to having my brows permanently tatted onto my face. When working with Ria, she was super helpful and knowledgeable about the different techniques. At the time, Ria was taking in clients for "ombré brows". After hearing her explain the technique and viewing her work on her instagram page, I decided to take a leap and have Ria do ombre brows for me. My experience was virtually painless; they put numbing creme prior to the tattooing so you don't really feel anything. To be honest, I fell asleep during my initial appointment and my touch up! Ria worked with me on the shape I wanted my brows to be as well as the color. I feared my brows would be too dark for my liking but they came out perfect! During my touch up, I wanted to adjust my brow shape just a bit and Ria executed that very well! I would definitely recommend her to those who are looking into ombre brows and are unsure of getting them. I recommended her to both of my managers and they love her work! After thinking about getting my brows microbladed for years, I did lots of homework (read: obsessing and stressing) trying to find the right place for me and found Evoluxe! I loved their work online and had extra confidence knowing they also train other microbladers. Michelle is so friendly, knowledgeable, and patient when I confessed my nervousness and fear of commitment (despite my several tattoos and long-term marriage, ha). I wasn't exactly sure which brows to get, and Michelle guided me through the options: based on my features, coloring, existing brow hairs, and makeup preferences, we went with a soft ombré powder brow and not only did she suggest it as the better option, she even said it would save me some money! She also was super responsive and exact when I asked for a tiny adjustment to the mapping (just lengthening the tails a touch); she really listened and got it perfect. She was so easy to talk to and the appointment flew by. Now that I'm pretty much healed--trust the process!--there are just a few patchy spots here and there and they're a bit light as is expected, but I'm loving not having to draw in my brows every morning and can't wait for my follow-up/touch-up for more perfection! My brow story is a long one, so to make it short, I've had multiple saline removals and a few laser removals due to an 8yr old eyebrow tattoo, which was black and truly permanent. Ladies please do yourself and your skin a favor and NEVER do saline removal. It left me with scar tissue on my brows. There are plenty of laser tattoo removal places in Bellevue. After 2 laser tattoo removal sessions, which made a huge difference, I got busy with life, and simply decided to give my brows a break for a few years. With that being said I was always cautious about spacing out any brow removal session by 3 months as it is very harsh on your skin. 2 years later, I learned about "Microshading", and how in some cases it can actually cover old tattoos. So, I decided to take a chance, and do some research. I chose Michelle at Evoluxe Studio due to her education, hard work, awards, an artists touch, reviews, and prices, and I am so glad I did. She may be young, but she is professional, passionate about what she does, and very sweet. Throughout the entire "Microshading" procedure, Michelle was constantly asking how I was doing and reapplying numbing cream frequently, which was AMAZING. Let me tell you how grateful I am to have come across Michelle's business! I flew from San Diego to Seattle to get my eyebrows done by her. That in itself should tell you EVERYTHING. I looked high and low for an artist in San Diego and no ones work even came close when comparing quality vs the price. I sent about six different artists to my close friends (without disclosing where they were located) and made them vote. All of them picked Michelle's work! That's how I knew I HAD to go to Seattle to get them done. Michelle was so easy to talk to and accommodating. Felt like I had known her for years! I went to see Michelle based on a friend's recommendation. It's not an easy decision to trust someone sight-unseen with your eyebrows! I didn't want to end up with something overdone and freakish. Michelle is a great listener, she looked at photos I'd brought in, she "gets it." She knew exactly the right thing for my face, my brows. She and her assistant are very attentive and caring all the way through. They use a topical anesthesia to numb the skin. I honestly did not feel any discomfort before, during, or after. I walked out looking amazing! Followed all the after-treatment precautions, went back for the follow-up - and WOW! What a difference. Michelle is a true artist, she really knows what she's doing. She's meticulous! Her studio is full of light, spotless, very comfortable. Of course, all covid precautions are observed. The studio's on a busy street, but I've never had any problem parking close to the entrance. I would definitely go again - I look forward to going back for a touch-up. I used to always do my brows in high school until one day I just got tired of it but I still felt very insecure having light color brows for someone who has naturally dark hair. I decided to search up anyone in Washington location who does amazing microblading work on instagram and I come across Michelle's page. She's absolutely the best and was the sweetest person to me while making me feel so comfortable. I went with combination brows since I do have dry & oily skin and her work is fantastic!! I feel so confident even though I'm in the process of walking around with bold brows right now but it does fade during the healing stage. The pain level was 1.5/10, the numbing cream she used on my brows really did help. I definitely recommend Michelle and she doesn't just do brows too!! I was 15 years old when a friend over plucked my eyebrows and they never grew back. I'm now 42 and waited a very long time to pull the trigger on getting powder ombré brows. After searching for some time and mustering up the courage to let someone touch my brows again, I found Michelle. I was very nervous but she made me feel very comfortable, explained every part of the process, has a gentle touch and helped me in a way I never thought anyone could. She put me at ease by informing me of the process, texted me to help answer any concerns and questions I had prior to my appointment. I got my brows done June 9th. So they are officially healed now. I am beyond thrilled with my results!! I LOVE the shape. I'm blonde and I was scared at first that they were too dark but I trusted the process and they lightened into my exact natural hair color. They truly turned out great. I got my eyebrows microshaded. I'm so happy I chose this studio. I went in for my first powder ombré brow appointment in late November, and Michelle made me feel so comfortable from the very beginning. We worked together to form the perfect brow shape and color that fit my face and style (which was amazing since my natural brows are not symmetrical). She gave me advice based on her years of experience which I was very thankful for. The studio is clean and comfortable as well. Makeup is not my thing, but I was looking to have my eyebrows with a perfect shape. Not having to draw them anymore. This is the second time that I opted for permanent makeup. Michelle did such an amazing job on not just my brows but my overall experience! Having previous work done before, I was nervous about doing another semi-permanent procedure but I had been following Michelle's business instagram and felt confident in her skill and experience. It took me two years to finally take the leap to get my brows done. I talked to a lot of artists around the area and found Michelle to be the most professional, prompt, and overall showed the compassion to what she does. I drove an hour out to see her and she did not disappoint. Michelle is super professional and amazing at what she does. My girl friend came in for a free consultation and Michelle had dedicated 30 minutes to informing of what the procedure will consist of and answering any questions that we had. I used to over-tweeze and generally draw my eyebrows really badly. I also had a hard time know what a good shape was. Ashley not only provided high quality microblading (creating a shape I LOVE), but she taught me how to do a little extra shaping with a pencil when I wanted to. She even gave me her favorite pencil type. I get compliments on my brows all the time. So much so that I have friends from out of state that come to Washington JUST to get their eyebrows done by Ashley. My brows have lasted for many years. I barely need touch ups at this point. Which is honestly a bummer because the studio has great vibes and I love getting to hang with Ashley for a bit. I can't recommend Ashley enough. The microblading queen…read more Changing your face seems like a big deal. We do it everyday with make up. But the idea of (semi)permanently changing your face was something I daydreamed for several years before finally making the plunge. When I found Lindsey via her instagram account, it was a no brainer. Her skill, quality of work, and taste is extremely clear. So I decided it was finally the time and booked an appointment - after weeks of waiting to finally get a slot in one of her coveted bimonthly booking sessions. Again, though it felt a bit like booking a Coachella ticket, I luckily got an appointment on my first round of attempts. The fact that she can pull off this way of scheduling is legit #goals. The day of the appointment was also fabulous. Her spot is clean, fresh and lovely. The appointment started with a consult for the process of microblading - reviewing the styles of "blading," how the treatment would go, healing process, etc. We then drew on shape before she started the official process. Lindsey made the entire experience great and was a pleasure to chat with. I'm excited to go back for the final "touch up" in a month. Hugely recommended!

Even before the pregnancy I would tip her hundreds of extra dollars so that she can take some rest if she needs. I don't know what's changed. Maybe the money is going tight now. The quality of lashes is not what it was, retention was terrible and all of the lashes fell out (except 2-3) within that week. Mind you I paid over $300 for the service, including tip, but what I really wanted to post about was my recent experience with her website. I went to reschedule our upcoming lash appointment on March 30, it automatically canceled it. When I reached out to her, there's no response. She's keeping the deposit, which is fine, but it just didn't sit well with me considering how much I tipped her and support her over the years. I would not recommend going to this place, she's become like a scammer now.

Fortunately the owner Merrick was very professional and the whole process was almost painless. First she had to shape my browns and then she did a tint. They came out amazing! I would definitely go back here. I didn't realize that the brows would look so different the next day, but I could still see the tint. The atmosphere of the salon is really cool too.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Repta is! Their fine-line work is absolutely phenomenal and they were very professional and considerate throughout the whole process;from creating my flower design to sterilizing the completed tattoo. They were happy to work with my reference images and added their own artistic twist. I really appreciated that they asked me if I preferred to chat or to listen to music before they began tattooing. I will definitely be coming back for another tattoo soon, as long as Repta is there. I have a new favorite tattoo now!

Almost four years later, I still had a good amount of shape and color left! That kind of longevity really says a lot about her work. I recently went back for a refresh, and it felt so good to be in her chair again. I trust her completely -- she knows how to create brows that look natural and fit my face rather than looking overly done. She's incredibly talented, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about her work. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my brows. I barely felt anything at all when Nikoma was working on my brows. She used two different numbing creams and they worked so well I almost drifted off to sleep at one point!
