Excellent visit to this Boca location. Was surprised that there was no wait and we were seated quickly. My son loved the strawberry lemonade. I loved the spiked cold brew. The lobster and Brie omelette was good. The shrimp and crawfish omelette was fantastic. The grits were creamy and tasty. We loved the sausage.. good quality. Delicious chain restaurant where you can get a good breakfast at a reasonable price. This location was within walking distance of the hotel that I stayed at while in town. Walked over on a Sunday morning to grab a quick bite to eat before starting my day. I've been to other locations before, so I knew what to expect. It was packed inside, so the food must be good. Sale was able to get a seat reasonably fast. The service was a little bit, slow due to the crowd. The waitress that was serving our table also had tables outside, and it did seem like she paid more attention to the people sitting outside. Had to wait a little while to get a coffee refill. But when she didn't bring it out, it was hot. Their coffee is very good. For my meal I had the buttermilk pancakes. I wish they would have given me less pancakes because 3 Was Way too many. I probably choked down one and a half pancakes. It also came with two eggs and two slices of bacon. Way more food than one person can eat. Unfortunately, I couldn't take anything to go with me since there was no microwave in the hotel room. Overall solid and about as good as any other location of another broken egg that I've been to. read more

Service slow, food cold, no toilet paper in the ladies room!! After dining here I went online because a friend told me to check out the health inspectors report as they were shut down due to so many violations. I learned a valuable lesson I will check reports before going. Food not properly stored, live roaches , cross contamination which can be dangerous for people with allergies!! We tried a new breakfast spot today and were very pleased with our find. Parking was easy in the lot and there was no wait to get in. We chose to eat indoors although there were outdoor tables available and it was a beautiful day. We were seated in a booth and our server promptly arrived for coffee orders. There was a full bar so Bloody Mary's, Mimosas and other interesting concoctions were available along with specialty coffee drinks, some seasonal with Pumpkin, Apple and Maple flavors. The menu had breakfast, brunch and lunch options. All were very interesting and some very different. I noted shrimp and grits as well as chicken and waffles. As a first time customer we were offered a half order of biscuit Beignets, a specialty item. They came out hot with marmalade and honey jelly and were a great starter. I ordered the hash brown eggs Benedict with grits and my boyfriend got buttermilk pancakes , eggs and bacon. The poached eggs were atop crispy hash brown patties with diced ham and covered in a mushroom herbal hollandaise sauce . They were good. The grits not so great. I would try the country potatoes next time as an option. My boyfriend enjoyed his pancakes and said the bacon and coffee were both good. Yesterday, I found a dead roach in my omelette and I'm still in shock. I have never been more disgusted. I'm a breastfeeding mother and almost swallowed it (see pictures). The restaurant had just failed a health inspection in August for roaches but were allowed to reopen the following day. According to a news article from August 2025, there were roaches and roach eggs everywhere that the GM told his employees to wipe away. Yesterday, I asked the general manager of the restaurant to please be honest with me about whether he had seen roaches in the kitchen and his response was "not recently." The director of operations (Joffre Rodriguez) called me claiming to be sorry for my experience but he seemed disingenuous to say the least. He said that they would remain operational as he was "sure they no longer had a roach problem" to which I said "then can you please explain the one I almost swallowed today?" He said no, that he could not explain why I had a dead roach in my omelette. Joffre gave me his cellphone number and advised that I could call him with any questions I had. Well, when I called him, he ignored my calls and has not called me back. A prior patron's Google Review also summarizes having seen a roach climbing up the wall while dining there. This place has a roach infestation in the kitchen but refuse to close in order to adequately treat the issue. They don't want to lose profits by closing, but are compromising the health and wellness of the public. read more

Unfortunately, I have to give this place a 0/10 for customer service. Our waitress was extremely inattentive from start to finish. We waited far too long to order and another 15-30 minutes for our food. The food itself was about a 7/10, but the service completely ruined the experience. Every other table around us had attentive and friendly servers, while we were ignored. My husband asked for a coffee refill that never came, and when we paid, she said, "Oh yeah, I forgot your coffee, want it to go?" At that point, it didn't matter. She claimed she was busy working the bar, but that's no excuse. I work in customer service too, and you don't forget your guests. This was our first and last visit. My husband still tipped out of kindness, but I wouldn't have. Do better. read more

The place is dirty, layers of dust everywhere from the shelves to the fans. Our table wasn't wiped down and then she wiped the food onto the bench seats, so now I can sit in food instead of place my elbows in it? Gross. The food wasn't good either, better food at IHOP! I love Another Broken Egg Cafe because of their sweet selections of breakfast foods. My friend and I ordered a S'mores Waffle and Apple Fritter French Toast to split. Both dishes came with two eggs any style and your choice of meat, but you can say no to the sides and the dish is a little bit cheaper. The s'mores waffle was absolutely delicious. Sadly, it's a seasonal selection and only there for a limited amount of time. The apple fritter French toast looked absolutely nothing like the photo advertised online, but it was still great. Our server was super nice, but service was just okay. It took a while to get my water refilled and I always had to ask. I highly recommend joining the waitlist through their website so you don't have to wait a long time for a table. read more

When we arrived, nobody was there to greet us. After waiting 10 minutes, I had to walk around to find hostess who told me that was a half hour wait. Meanwhile, there were many empty tables, half of them not bussed and unclean. Many tables remained unbussed for 30-45 minutes, while there was a long wait list. Our name was put on the waitlist and we weren't called until 45 minutes later. There were three in our party. Upon being seated, we were seated in front of an ugly messy work station looking at server's asses the entire time. We only given two menus and two roll-ups. Another 10 minutes passed, no water. I had to ask another worker if we had a server for our table. After sitting unattended for 15 minutes the server finally came to our table. She was rushed and unpleasant, looking at the floor while speaking with us. She ran off before the 3rd person could order his coffee. Server didnt ask him what he wanted to drink. Another 10 minutes before we had drinks. We placed our order at that time. Our food didn't arrive until 30 minutes later. First dish: Eggs Benedict was under par, no ham on English Muffin like all other eggs Benedict everywhere else and no garnish on plate either Second dish: Omelette. Nothing special about this presentation. Third dish: Eggs over medium with sausage. The eggs were disgustingly raw and uncooked served with 3 sausage links. Waitress never asked how our food was and once again I had to ask another server to find my waitress. The eggs were sent back and another plate with cooked eggs came out minus 1 sausage. The hash brown potatoes were horrible. Tasted frozen. Server never offered refills on water or coffee. We had to ask whoever walked by to assist us. I requested to speak with the manager. When he came to our table, I started to explain all that had gone wrong since we arrived. He quickly interrupted me and was very dismissive. He could care less what I had to say and quickly ran off. He never returned for a follow up, even after sending raw uncooked eggs back to the kitchen. I always had a manager return food to a guest, if it was sent back to the kitchen. Also I will add how unprofessional he acted and wasn't dressed like a manger representing a restaurant should look. I thought he was the dishwasher, at first. He never introduced himself to us as the manager. What a shitty and over priced outfit. I'm sorry we waited for our table. Needless to say, we will never go back. Move your work station behind a wall. That's the last place you should seat your guests! I came in Friday morning around 11:30. I was sat promptly. My server came over almost immediately and was very nice and helpful. I ended up ordering the Monterey power omelette which consisted of egg whites, chicken, cheese, salsa and avocado. It also came with English muffin and seasonal fruit. I really enjoyed it it was piping hot when it hit the table and that's how I love my food. The fruit was fresh I really enjoyed the strawberries. Horrible experience, worst choice to celebrate mother's day. The table was dirty when we got there and we had to wipe maple syrup off the table, the server didn't even try to be friendly, the food took about 45 minutes and then the order was incomplete when got it, so we had to wait even more for the rest of the food to come. If you have small children AVOID this place, the waiting is pure torture for them (and parents). Make sure you don't come hungry, you'll have plenty of time to get hungry while you're there. After a fabulous 5k we were in the Boca neighborhood and was feeling for brunch and a celebratory mimosa for our dear friends' birthday. We arrived fairly early - before 10 and was about a 35 minute wait. We decided outside seating and celebrated with their brunchtails- bloody Mary's, berry margaritas and strawberry mimosas. They came out fairly quickly and were perfect as I hardly tasted the Tito's in the Mary. My fiance and I have been going to this Broken Egg in Boca for over 2 years and like sitting at the Bar. Adrian and other bartenders are wonderful but yesterday on a busy Sunday 9/7/2025 the manager Gianna had a staff meeting at the bar and was extremely loud. I motioned with my finger on my lips to please lower the volume and at first she ignored me and then barked at me that the bar "is a public place" and to basically shut up and deal with it. I was appalled and it escalated with her insulting, bullying and even threats to me. We payed our bill and left. NEVER in all the years we have been dining in Boca Raton have I been treated with total disregard and disdain by a restaurant manager. It was disgusting and traumatizing.
