Thia place is a nice place to eat. The service was wonderful. Our waitress was very attentive even when she had several tables to handle at the time. Thank you for a great experience!

Clean and refreshing look overall. Our waitress was great. Both of our meals were very fulfilling and as we ordered. We would definitely try them again and recommend stopping in.

Yum! I had a great breakfast at Another Broken Egg! They had huevos rancheros, a dish with chorizo , eggs, cheese , salsa and chips! It hit the spot . I love the coffee too. Parking is ample. Staff is nice. Place is always clean. I loved all of the sides including the grits. It's worth a try!

Was in town with my friend for the day and decided to stop here for breakfast. We were drawn in by the menu, which features a lot of dishes you don't usually see at a typical breakfast spot. It definitely has potential, but it didn't quite land for us. The atmosphere: The dining area is spacious with both booths and tables, and there's also a bar inside. The food: I started with the Caramel Cold Brew, and it was overwhelmingly sweet, more like a latte than a cold brew. For my meal, I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. The waffles were fine but pretty standard, and the chicken tenders lacked seasoning. The side of hot honey helped, but it still felt like the dish needed more flavor overall. The service: Our server was a bit awkward, but still friendly and attentive. Overall, the service felt a little inconsistent.

Overall a great breakfast spot! There is plenty of parking, and service is great. We were seated right away, and our server was great to get a booster chair for my little one before I even asked for one. There are kids activities that they provide (crayons and coloring paper), which is a bonus! We ordered the crab cake benedict, shrimp and grits, french toast, and pancakes and eggs from the kids menu. The crab cake benedict and french toast was very good. The shrimp and grits were okay, nothing overly exceptional. Too much grits in my opinion. My kids loved the french toast and eggs. Price is overall reasonable. Would definitely revisit if we were back in Williamsburg!

Another Broken Egg in Williamsburg. The food was really good. Sometimes I wonder why I eat out for breakfast because it's so darn expensive. Nearly every breakfast/brunch place is pricy for the type of food. But that doesn't stop us when you are out of town. Unless you have a full kitchen to make breakfast, you're at the mercy of the establishments you in which you eat. Taking nothing away from ABE! Our waitress was attentive and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. See the pics included for the meals we got. Two of our party got the three stack pancakes. No pics. I give ABE credit, they have some unique dishes to partake.

Had a lovely brunch date with my husband this morning, this place is amazing! Friendly and very attentive staff and service, food was absolutely delicious, ambiance is very wholesome. Our waiter was Josh, he was so kind and friendly. Clean establishment and clean bathrooms. Will definitely come back again and would highly recommend to friends and family.

Another year and another visit. Still great service and good food in a large restaurant with lots of seating.

I visited Another Broken Egg Cafe in Williamsburg for breakfast. I had a delicious vegetable omelette with a fresh fruit cup side, rye toast, and a cup of coffee. Everything was delicious. Yes, you might say it was a little on the price high side but I left the Cafe feeling I had a great healthy breakfast. I am noticing more and more upscale breakfast eateries. Another Broken Egg Cafe is a good example of an upscale eatery. Certainly not Denny's. No knock on Denny's. Just a different experience. The waitress was pleasant. Isn't nice to walk in and sit down and have a smiling, pleasant waitress make you feel good? Well, that's how I felt. Quick service. Coffee refills were plentiful. Parking is adequate. Cash or credit. $$$.

The food was really tasty especially the Bourbon Pecan Pancake. Why waiter had a pleasant/calm personality. I also liked the atmosphere -rustic, yet simple.

Sunny side up eggs with bacon, English muffin and home fries

There was no taste on the potatoes, bacon was hard and tasteless. The bread was too soft for me. The service was excellent. Loved the decor of the restaurant. The coffee was good. I was disappointed with the food

This is probably one of my favorite breakfast spots in VA - Williamsburg. The service is tremendous and our waitress was exceptionally attentive to details and always around when my group of friends needed something. The restaurant sits right by a busy intersection on the road leading to the Colonial Market square and the Outlet, but it is clean and easy to find. I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of the City grits (loaded grits) and it was perfectly prepared. Every bite was delicious and satisfying. The portion was generous and filling. I couldn't be happier with my order and the consensus was the same from my group of friends who also dined with me. I look forward to coming be the next time I am in town!

We had the same problem. I think they just opened and don't have their system running yet. We just showed up and they said it was a 30 minute wait but we got a table in less then 10. So worth the wait.

We started by sharing the octopus appetizer, and it was phenomenal -- perfectly cooked, flavorful, and an incredible way to begin the meal. For entrees, we had the bone-in pork and the cavatelli, and both were excellent. The pork was probably one of the top five I've ever had -- cooked perfectly, with a great sauce on top and really good grits. My wife had a gin, egg white, raspberry, and prosecco drink. It tasted mostly like prosecco, so we weren't quite as impressed with the cocktail as we thought we'd be. One little tiff: there was no one sitting on the outside patio, so we asked if we could have the shaded table. They said no because of the staffing setup. About halfway through our meal, one couple came and sat at the larger table we weren't allowed to use, then decided they didn't want to sit there and went inside. Not really sure what the big deal was with that table versus the one next to it where we were seated on an otherwise empty patio. But all in all, it was a great meal and we would definitely go again!

They are set up in various rooms throughout the house and the servers and staff are dressed in colonial garb. They speak and serve in old school Fashion which is delightful. They even had a gentleman walking around playing music from the time period. I enjoyed a Rummer refreshing cocktail while hubby had an Apple Jack old Fashioned. The drinks average $15. They also have a fine assortment of wines. They brought a bread basket with super fresh bread and mini corn muffins. They also brought whipped butter, a Virginia ham spread and corn relish. All excellent! We saw peanut soup in several places and ordered it here. It was very different. Very peanutty and super filling. I ordered the crab croquettes which were flaky and delicious. The sauce had just a bit of zing and completed the flavor profile perfectly. Our server Lynette was such a sweet lady. I adored her and she even tied the giant napkins for us to prevent spills and mess. (It was super hot though and we took them off eventually) For dinner, hubby got the beef steak. It was served in a deep tin, covered in a flakey crust and topped with an over light egg, fun onions and scallions. It also came fresh veggies. So yummy!

We weren't sure where the restaurant was located within the building so we stopped to ask where the Terrace a room was at a hostess stand where three women were working. They all stared at us like we had dropped from the sky and then one woman gestured down the hall. Except it wasn't down the hall. We were in fact at the Terrace Room hostess stand. Sort of an odd beginning. We were seated at a two top with one chair and a couch with huge pillows scattered all over that left no room to actually sit. Had to toss them to the center of the couch to squeeze in. The menus are giant in size so it's hard to lay them down on the small table. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We started off with a bourbon cocktail that included some candied ginger and was very refreshing. The server gave us each a small cube of bread and some butter. It was sort of comical how miserly they were with the bread. The menu offerings were sort of odd but we were able to watch what other tables ordered to make our selections. The entree prices are pretty hefty. We each got a Caesar Salad to start that was good. We both settled on the brisket sandwich (a July Fourth special) and one of us got the fries and the other a side of summer veggies that was squash & zucchini. The sandwich was okay but nothing grand for $21 and the veggie side caused us to both explode with laughter at how meager it was. C'mon folks, squash is dirt cheap so load it up. Absolutely ridiculous. Their wine selections were not super familiar to us and pricey but they give you an ample pour. The Inn itself is very beautiful and the night stars shimmering on the reflecting pool out front is very romantic. I'd recommend a drink at the bar and skipping the $200 dinner for two.
