Multi grain toast, fruit bowl, scrambled eggs
Laura M.

We had a great experience, love that they have an outdoor patio, always hard to find when it comes to brunch! Our server was amazing, as was the manager- he took special care to check on us as we were celebrating a birthday! They do offer a gluten-free toast, but we were disappointed that they did not have any other milk alternatives- only whole milk was available for their coffee drinks.

Skinny Omelette with a side of grits

We were greeted warmly by the owner, Jacob, when we walked in right at opening time. We had just come from a long night at the ICU and Jacob was so kind, generous and warm. We were seated quickly and he gave us the choice of either medium or dark roast coffee. We asked if we could mix half and half and it was perfect. The most delicious coffee served in cute handmade pottery mugs. Very flavorful, not bitter in the slightest (which some dark roasts can be). We ordered the smoked salmon Benedict. Typically served on a bagel, my sister chose gluten free toast. She said gluten free bread is often starchy and this was not. Capers and a light hollandaise sauce made this a perfect dish for her. My mom chose the loaded grits - about a cup and a half of grits piled high with bacon, onion and Gouda. Yum! I had the skinny omelette (egg whites, roasted red pepper, asparagus and goat cheese) topped with fresh herbs. The flavors blended seamlessly and the ingredients were so fresh. A small order of beignets with honey marmalade was the perfect ending to a great meal. Overall, this little spot is absolutely fantastic. Instagram-worthy decor, delicious food and warm service. We will be back!

Louisiana eggs Benedict w fried hashbrown balls

Went full Louisiana mode with their epic Shrimp Eggs Benedict or whatever loaded Cajun twist they had going! Poached eggs perfection on a base loaded with shrimp, creamy cheese/velouté sauce, fresh veggies, a kick of hot sauce, and topped with crispy fried onions for that ultimate crunch. The cheese pull was insane, shrimp were tender and plentiful, and those fried sides were golden bliss. If you're in Wichita and looking for a good brunch spot this is it ..awesome customer service also

We're from out of town and we always like to try something new. Kylie was our server and she is very gracious and attentive to us. Service portion are generous and we enjoyed our meal. Just wish that pancakes are options with their omelette instead of just English muffins. The place is clean and ambiance is nice.

I have to give it a 5 because of the bananas foster. Best thing I've ever eaten. Our server was a blonde lady with gauges... I LOVE when severe are causal, laid back & professional.. when they treat us how they want to be treated when they go out to eat. I'm used to the ABE in the south, so the hospitality and environment here in KS sucks, lol. It's just not the same as it is in the south. At least the food is as good!

We had an incredible meal at Another Broken Egg Cafe. Josh was a fantastic server - kind, hospitable, and attentive. The food was amazing. We love this spot and will be back again.

I was about to sit in a bar and my order was already ready before I even sit down. Joshua was great service.

Food: 4/5 Good, very solid breakfast place. I didn't love the amount of berries in my pancakes (or the placement). The cost was bit high for what you got but I would eat there again once they get the kinks worked out. Service: 3/5 Good, though slow but they haven't been open long. Ambiance: 4/5 The music is a bit quiet and the table is clean but there are random cleaning products out and rags above condiment storage.

Food was good. It was a little pricey. Service was good the hostess was very chatty and it was a pleasure to have had a conversation with her. Over all ambiance of the restaurant was nice and felt like an upscale breakfast/lunch place. The coffee cups were a nice touch. The story about the young entrepreneurs from WSU opening the franchise made me want to try this location.

Fried Potatoes and Gravy for the biscuits.

I went inside to order my meal to go. The bartender took my order and she was really nice. This place is clean and the decor is cute. As for the food...it was ok. Definitely NOT my favorite place to go but wanted to try it. The sausage patties tasted like a thin hamburger with seasonings on it. The potatoes were like anywhere else serving fried potatoes and the gravy was blah. The eggs were good though. I won't go back because there are many other places that I feel are better and not as costly.

Shrimp 'N Grits

Above and beyond! I usually order the Shrimp & Grits on Uber Eats. Recently my orders have not included the bread that comes with the meal. I called them to complain and one of the owners came to my HOUSE to drop off a box of bread and free entree coupons. I was a little disappointed about my Uber Eats orders but sometimes mistakes happen but going above and beyond for a customer is something that is truly appreciated in a service industry. The owner was extremely positive and polite and the employees are lucky to work for a guy like this! I gave them a visit, the ambience is SO GORGEOUS. The place looks really nice definitely upscale cafe. The spiked coffee was delicious and all of the servers are always smiling and friendly. As expected, the Shrimp and Grits was way better dining in vs ordering takeout. I'd definitely try to dine in more. 10/10

Jambalaya with chicken salad sandwich. The jambalaya had an egg on top, with shrimp and crawdads in the jambalaya exceptionally good.

My second rule is if it's an ice cream shop or a bakery or a breakfast / lunch spot.... the score goes down because the coffee is usually and afterthought. Well this place broke all of the rules.... BOTH THE BAKERY IS EPIC AND THE COFFEE IS EVEN BETTER! The only thing I didn't like is there is just so much pride stuff. I get it - I'm from the FL keys which used to be one of the main places for LGBT communities (back in the day it was only LGBT). Key West / San Fran and Province Town - those were the only true open communities. But now it's nationwide and it's actually world wide for the most part. From my viewpoints LGB is 100% just part of society and we don't have much flag waiving in the keys because nobody cares - we are all just one big family. It didn't take away from the expense it was just a little too forward.

It's not a knock on the city, it's just that it's a 9 hour drive from Houston! I found this gem on a recent road trip through the Midwest. I was making a drive from Dallas and used ChatGPT to find me the best coffee between Dallas and Abilene, KS. Reverie Coffee Roasters popped up and Yelp reviews looked favorable so I plugged it into the GPS. I don't know the area, but it seemed to be located in their downtown area right off the interstate. I found street parking right out front and unsure if they have a dedicated lot. This place was alot bigger than I expected. Walking in is like a storefront with coffee and merch for sale, as well as where you order. Then they have a huge dining area with lots of seating as well as a patio out back. It looks like a perfect place to catch up with your peeps, read a good book or study. It was busy so the staff was straight business but in a polite and helpful way. They started off as a wholesale coffee roaster. They source their coffee from all around the world. On my visit, I saw coffees from Columbia, Guatemala, Mexico, Ethiopia, and Nicaragua. They also offer every type of brewing method like pour over, drip, chemex, cold brew, French press, etc. The fact that they do all that different sourcing and preparation methods shows me they care about putting out a superior product. My original plan was to grab a cup of joe and keep it moving to my destination, but after walking in and seeing they had nice looking pastries, I decided to get my order and enjoy it there. I love all things s'mores and saw they have a s'mores latte. I had to get it. Another weakness of mine is cinnamon rolls. I saw it on display and had to have it. They heat it up before serving it. I was able to find a cozy corner of the restaurant. My order got called shortly after. The latte was amazing. I could taste the little nuances of a s'more. They even topped the drink with a marshmallow drizzle. I savored that drink. Now let me sing the praise of that cinnamon roll. Hands down the best cinnamon roll I've had. This was a brioche cinnamon roll. They heated it up just right and the icing was just gooey enough without running off the roll. It was soft and oh so delectable. The sweet icing didn't mask the delicious buttery brioche either. Bite of that, then sip of the coffee was a match made in heaven. I had no intention of finishing this generous portion, but I simply could not let it go to waste either. Needless to say, I was on the struggle bus driving on to my next destination. If somehow I could replicate this place and put one in Houston, I would be the happiest man. I will most definitely come back through next time I drive through Wichita!

I live in an Asian shaved ice desert. Perhaps that's why I'm already super enthusiastic when I…read moretravel and find some. Simply the gratitude of it being present in middle America sets me up to have a good experience. Someone complained in a review about the "false advertisement" of having shaved ice as most Americans know it. It's hilarious to be that they assumed it to be what they know as shaved ice. If they had tried the Asian shaved ice, I guarantee they'd enjoy it and wouldn't have complained. If you know about other culture's shaved ice, you're open to try new things and let yourself be surprised. I digress. The shaved ice found here is the Korean version, Bingsu. It's very similar to other styles, but this one is mostly milk based. The menu is pretty extensive, including smoothies, yogurt, juice, coffee, boba tea, and of course shaved ice cream. We came for the shaved ice cream, so we tried the strawberry & mango first. It mixed the two, which surprised me since I had assumed it would be half and half separated. The combination worked beautifully. There was whipped cream, strawberry and mango syrup on top and we asked for mango popping boba. It was so delicious! The best way I can describe it is a feathery texture that melts in your mouth. We also tried the coconut one which came with condensed milk and coconut shavings. We also added strawberry popping boba. Highly recommend either/bob. Since the consistency is light and fluffy, even though the portions are generous, you don't feel stuffed afterwards. The place is spacious and has tall ceiling, making it very open. There's seating available on both floors. I enjoyed the Korean music playing and the tv translating the lyrics. The volume was just right (as opposed to some reviews out there complaining it was too loud). I probably wouldn't try to make calls inside though. The guy at the counter was super nice. He kept smiling really big the whole time he talked to us. Made me smile too. He also told us about the Korean cheesecake they have for sale. It looked delicious and fluffy so I got the coffee one. It was more of a sponge cake than cheesecake but it was delicious. Highly recommend.

It was super cute in there, I love the vibe and how there is an upstairs and downstairs. We ordered the strawberry mango and green tea shaved ice. They weren't the best I've had but they also weren't bad. I wish they included some toppings. It definitely isn't super authentic when it comes to the tradition Korean shaved ice. And the flavor is good but not the best. Everyone there was nice as well.

Then we get to all the things that really matter if you are a restaurant and NOT a catering venue. Training-why is your server not trained well on how to interact when there is a speaker/leader who is talking when she decides to interrupt? Why is the food so focused on being smashed into a shape that fits inside the rim of the plate? It almost seemed as if they stacked all our plates full of food on top of each other (I don't think they did that?), without covers, because my meal came compacted, shaped and stuffed into the plate...very unappetizing. The food wasn't terrible, but it was cold and put on the plate based upon a list and and photos...not by anyone who ever considered that an actual SOUL was going to have to PUT IT IN THEIR MOUTH....
