Blueberry waffle with powdered sugar and cream

Everybody had been saying the lines were ridiculous so I decided to go early. The line was not bad. It was about a 20 minute wait to order. You order from a kiosk and they don't take cash. Works for me. I ordered the blueberry pancake with powdered sugar and cream. I was impressed. While they give you syrup, you really do need more so you'll have to over over to the stand and grab you some. Do that before you get your food so you have it ready. I also ordered the 4 chicken wings. Surprise surprise... Pretty tasty. Add that sauce and I would say... Pretty dang good. The question is.. Would I go back? Yes .. Yes .. And Yes ...

Stopped by for lunch today & was surprised to find that the line was fairly short. I'd read about the line being out the door so I was ready to wait. Most of the tables were full with people eating or waiting for their food. From the time we walked in until we were able to order was 10 minutes. Ordering is pretty straightforward with you using one of two tablets. They have someone at the counter to help you. We placed our order & sat down to wait. Honestly, I didn't pay attention to how long it took for our order to be ready. If I had to guess, I would say about 20 minutes. The place is fairly clean. I only say fairly because a couple of tables were in need of a wipe down. The restroom was clean & stocked up. Zero issues here. My only complaint is that they need to pay attention when you order to go. Both of our orders had to be packed up because someone put "dine in" on the tab. Not a big deal. On to the food. I'm going to go with dessert first. I didn't get pictures as these were gobbled quickly. My daughter had the Nutella waffle & enjoyed it but said it would be even better with strawberry slices added to it. My husband ordered the creme brulee waffle & it was also a hit. FYI, these are big so maybe have it a few hours after eating or share with someone. My daughter & I both had the chicken & waffle sandwich. Again, these are freaking huge. The waffle was a good mix of crispy & soft. The chicken was delicious but some of the breading fell off during cooking. Overall, 10/10. The hubs ordered the same thing but his had the thunder sauce. He said it was a good mix of sweet & a little spicy. 10/10 Beware, they get busy, orders seem to be made fresh so pack patience. The drive thru is open sporadically but it was closed today. My parting advice is to bring your appetite, or a friend to share with. Enjoy!

I was excited to try The Waffle Bus during their soft opening. I was a little overwhelmed with what to order (you order at the counter on the kiosk/tablet). I ended up getting the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, Hottie Melt, Hot Chicken Thunder Fries, and Milk & Cereal Ice Cream Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was my favorite and my husband really enjoyed the Hottie Melt (it's spicy!!). They have a kids menu and we got our son the chicken & fries. He's a picky eater with food allergies and he ate his food so that's a win for us! I can't wait to go back to try more of the menu.

What did we get this time? Fries, Bread and Wings, MacDaddy Meal, Waffle Sandwich (I can't remember which cus they're all soooo good and definitely not my first rodeo ), Strawberry Cream Waffle, and Mac&Cheese - you really can't go wrong ordering cus they're ALL amazing. This is a MUST if you're in the city. Note: Their cereal shakes are amazing! Don't forget to order one to top off your meal experience!

    HOT chicken thunder fries.

Went there for the first time today and was so impressed! The place looks amazing and is so clean. It was also super easy to order, and the food arrived quickly. There were so many options to try and it was hard to pick! The hot honey wings were HUGE and AMAZING. I think they were fried Korean-style which made them even crunchier on the outside and juicier on the inside. The kids chicken and fries was also fantastic. I really wanted to try the pistachio Dubai shake but everything was so filling, I had to save it for our next visit. The owners were super nice and you can tell they just want their customers to be happy! Can't wait to come back again for all the sweets!!!

Wow! Mouth watering. Great flavor with a burst of freshness. Open sitting area and loved how we just put our order in. Staff were pleasant and greeted us as we walked in. Very clean and well kept. We will definitely be back!

I finally tried The Waffle Bus. While the food was good and enjoyable, for a few dollars less, there's better options in Wichita where great flavor and price combine. So I am docking a star for price and it being really good, but not Amazing. The flavor profile for the things I did try, were very good tho. And I am docking another star for the environment. Sure the line was about 30 minutes, not a problem. They had some cool music playing and the restaurant was clean. However, the person calling orders was obnoxious and it might not be entirely his fault. I think it's something that can be fixed with the following suggestion. Instead of saying name, number, name, pick up at the milkshake area. They could say, "number 29 your order is ready." They can reduce the mic time from 5 seconds to 2 seconds. With as busy as it is, I think that could be a nice change. I do wish them the best, and look forward to trying them again from time to time. I think it's a great addition to Derby.

It was an amazing experience with a great vibe and even better food! I would recommend anyone that enjoys chicken and a chill atmosphere to enjoy with friends and family.

The server sat us down and disappeared faster than my motivation to be polite. No one asked if my daughter needed a high chair, I guess the new theme here is extreme family dining. When I finally got one, it felt like I had to win it in a raffle. Drinks? Took forever. Food? Nearly an hour. And when it did come out, half of it was on another table. Nothing says "five-star service" like retrieving your own breakfast from strangers like it's a buffet scavenger hunt. Refills required multiple requests like we were applying for a loan. And the food? Let's just say the real crime wasn't the wait, it was what we waited for. To really seal the deal, we waited another 45 minutes just to pay. Two hours total from start to finish. Honestly, if IHOP ever opens an escape room, they've already nailed the timing. And as the cherry on top, our server had the worst customer service I've seen in a long time, complete with a full-on bitchy attitude. If I wanted attitude with my pancakes, I would've stayed home and cooked while arguing with my wife. do not recommend!!!!!!!

The waiter left our food on another table and walked off so we had to serve ourselves. He never came back to check on us or refill drinks. We had to hunt him down. The manager was carrying plates with her sleeves over her hands while she was touching the plates. Gross. We stood up at the front to check out for 20 minutes. When our waiter, Zaden, finally came out to have us pay, he had a huge attitude with us. I couldn't believe how bad our experience was today. I don't understand how this place is still in business.

The restaurant is very big! Which is nice! Lots of arcade games and plenty of televisions for game days. They were out of buns and toast for most of the menu items so I had the bacon cheeseburger macaroni and cheese. Disclaimer: I don't like MOST restaurant style Mac n Cheese so this is a very unusual order for me - and it makes me slightly biased in a slightly bad way... but for what it's worth, the flavor was great! It had a wonderful spicy kick! But you have to eat it quickly... maybe that's my issue- I don't like to eat fast. Anyways, it was good "adult" Mac and Cheese but given another option I would have taken it for sure. Hubs had the Regular Cheeseburger with a pretzel bun since they were out of the regular buns and toast options. He didn't mind as pretzel buns are his absolute favorite. He noted that the cheeseburger was excellent. Cooked well. Not overly greasy. Not too big, not too small. All the condiments were included. He had no complaints. His side: tater tots, which were cooked to golden perfection. For our appetizer we opted for the spicy cheese curds. They were super tasty! The menu has tons of options as far as burgers, Mac n cheese, sandwiches, and appetizers. There are some salad options and chicken strips too. There is also a kid menu. The service was very quick! Very friendly! Overall we enjoyed our time here and will add this establishment to our rotation!

Did I order some of their weaker items? Was it because I tried them via delivery? Guess I'll never know, I don't plan to try them again honestly. I tend to reserve 1/5 star ratings for truly egregious experiences, but Little Busters is just barely better than that at a 1.5. Buffalo chicken mac and cheese: Holy false advertisement. I wish I had taken pictures, but it was just a nasty, congealed looking mess-- not even close to the picture advertised. The cheese sauce was a pale greyish yellow and just not appetizing looking at all, and was hardened like rotel dip that sits out too long and develops that film processed cheese tends to develop. I only live 10 minutes away, so it was shocking to see the presentation. The Buffalo chicken was not coated well in Buffalo sauce. Lots of gaps where you could see the normal plain breading. Buffalo chicken wrap: First, it was just made incorrectly. Zero Buffalo sauce so I thought perhaps I had received the other wrap which has ranch in it. No ranch either. It was wrapped very poorly/loosely and even with toothpicks the contents just immediately fell out. The wrap itself was very dry. 60% tortilla, 30% iceberg lettuce, 10% chicken. Full bites would just be nothing but tortilla and lettuce and there was soooo little actual chicken in it. Super disappointing and I didn't finish it. Spicy turkey wrap: Much the same presentation as the Buffalo wrap. Totally messy but this one happened to be drenched in dressing. Also the same issue with portions within the wrap. Very little turkey and cheese and the bottom third of the wrap had neither-- it was all tortilla and lettuce. My husband had made that comment all on his own before I could point it out. He DID say the flavor wasn't bad though. Corn dog nuggets: Hard to mess up something that was probably just taken out of a box in the freezer. Edible. Cottage cheese: Decent portion but also hard to mess up when it's a ready-made item. Tator tots: A mushy mess. I get it, potatoes get soggy. I would fully expect it if I lived 20 or 30 minutes away but again, I live 10 maybe less away. Thank goodness my air fryer saved them otherwise I honestly think I would have thrown it away. Containers: I normally never ever comment on the packaging food comes in, but wow was it bad. They use some kind of most likely recycled paper product versus Styrofoam. On one hand. Better for the environment. On the other hand. Any dish with moisture or steam causes the packaging to collapse and not hold its shape. The packaging could BARELY hold the weight of the mac and cheese and I had to support the bottom with two hands so it wouldn't collapse and spill out to one side or the other. This place has many other decent reviews so I'm not blind to the fact that my bad experience might be a fluke but really there was just no part of this meal that even tempts me to try it again. On every level from taste, to presentation, to portions was just a huge let down.
