We came across this cafe accidentally while looking for another more "popular" cafe that I had wanted to try. That other one, we couldn't even find parking. This one though we found parking very easily. We arrived shortly before noon and got lucky a couple was leaving because it was full and there's not a whole lot of tables. While we were eating a decent line started to form. Service was good and the food was excellent! I was craving a nice tuna salad sandwich and I definitely got it there. Tasted just like my momma's. From the service to the food this is a good place for breakfast. The ambiance is that of cafe/ diner. I had the pleasure of stopping by here for breakfast and made the tough decision of getting French toast. Stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday around 11:30 AM, and was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait. We were seated, ordered and served our food within 10 minutes of arrival. I ordered the egg breakfast with a biscuit and hash browns, and my boyfriend ordered a ham and cheese omelette with toast. Both meals were satisfactory, and I have to say the biscuit exceeded my expectations. Hash browns were nice and crispy, just the way I like it. One of the best breakfast I have had in town! They provide a cinnamon roll as an appetizer, DELICIOUS! I ordered the breakfast skillet and it was awesome and quite filling. Everyone in our party ordered something different and it all looked delicious. The wait staff was spot on and really accomadating. Livingston has been one of our favorites for years. Small, independent and the quality hasn't ever changed. They use what I believe is Velveta for cheese in their omelette. I like this because it melts better then shredded cheddar, others don't care for it as much. Prices are reasonable. Service is good. It is a small restaurant, so when they get busy getting a table can be in issue. There's a reason Livingston has been a local staple for close to a centaur y, good food, good service and good value. read more

This is one of the few breakfast places that actually cook bacon to crispy goodness. The staff is constantly filling coffee mugs and asking if there is anything needed. The food is great and staff very helpful. Many make this place their regular Saturday breakfast spot. Come early to not have to wait. read more

Came here on a whim while staying with family. Great service and hospitality. Lots of older folks there who seemed to be regulars. The food tasted fresh and the prices are very reasonable. A wonderful old time diner breakfast. Service was fast and friendly, coffee refills were frequent and a good bold flavor. Decided to try this brunch breakfast cafe finally. It is a small place, wait time can be longer. I was disappointed they didn't have a bathroom of their own especially having kiddos but you can go to the next door and use it. I got the Spanish 3 egg omelette, it was good but a lil too cheesy for me. Kiddos loved their Mickey Mouse breakfast. The chicken fried steak was good. Biscuit and gravy was homemade and delicious. I think the food is usually very good...particularly the breakfast but I was in 10/21/20 & three couples walked in without wearing masks. We were soon surrounded by them. There was social distancing. I wish the proprietor was more encouraging about mask wearing & post a sign to that effect on the door. I want to support local businesses but I also want to be safe. read more

Food is a 3-Star, but Service and Speed is a 5. Not much new to add that hasn't already been said. The reason for the 3 on Food, was the pancakes we cold, butter wouldn't melt and my eggs were overcooked, neither were worth the effort to send back as I was needing a solid breakfast then back to work. read more
