I had a traditional breakfast with 2 eggs over easy, sausage patties, breakfast potatoes and toast. With a simple black coffee. Food was good however I wished I would have tried one of their "signature" dishes. Food was a solid 6.5/10 Sausage a bit sweeter than I like. Potatoes were ok but a little cold. Eggs were on point. The coffee was a 10 their own brew I believe. I loved their homemade coffee mugs. Service was 10/10 Sat in a high top around the bar. The good- Every staff member had a smile on when they greeted or served you. The food, when it finally arrived, tasted fantastic and had large servings! The not so great- We waited over 2 hours to be seated after being provided an hour wait time at 10am when we joined the waitlist. They charged my sister full price for the pineapple matcha lemonade, yet she asked for no alcohol, and the drink had to be taken back since they brought it out the first time with no matcha at all? My grandmother asked for extra sauce since her salad was still dry, annndddd the server came and went without bringing it for another 30 minutes. The full order of breakfast beignets came with three plates...for four people. Overall it was amazing food, but with the issues my family had I don't think we'll be returning. We had a great experience, love that they have an outdoor patio, always hard to find when it comes to brunch! Our server was amazing, as was the manager- he took special care to check on us as we were celebrating a birthday! We were greeted warmly by the owner, Jacob, when we walked in right at opening time. We had just come from a long night at the ICU and Jacob was so kind, generous and warm. We were seated quickly and he gave us the choice of either medium or dark roast coffee. We asked if we could mix half and half and it was perfect. The most delicious coffee served in cute handmade pottery mugs. Very flavorful, not bitter in the slightest (which some dark roasts can be). We ordered the smoked salmon Benedict. Typically served on a bagel, my sister chose gluten free toast. She said gluten free bread is often starchy and this was not. Capers and a light hollandaise sauce made this a perfect dish for her. My mom chose the loaded grits - about a cup and a half of grits piled high with bacon, onion and Gouda. Yum! I had the skinny omelette (egg whites, roasted red pepper, asparagus and goat cheese) topped with fresh herbs. The flavors blended seamlessly and the ingredients were so fresh. A small order of beignets with honey marmalade was the perfect ending to a great meal. Overall, this little spot is absolutely fantastic. Instagram-worthy decor, delicious food and warm service. Went full Louisiana mode with their epic Shrimp Eggs Benedict or whatever loaded Cajun twist they had going! Poached eggs perfection on a base loaded with shrimp, creamy cheese/velouté sauce, fresh veggies, a kick of hot sauce, and topped with crispy fried onions for that ultimate crunch. We had breakfast here recently and were very disappointed. I order the bacon and tomato eggs Benedict. it was probably the worst eggs benedict I have ever had. The hollandaise was tasteless and unappealing in its appearance. instead of a rich, decadent sauce, it was pale with a funny taste. it seemed as if flour had been used to make it. I had asked for the English muffin to be toasted extra and it was soggy, difficult to cut. The grits were clumpy and gluey and tasteless. I have never had such terrible grits. It was as if the cook had never even heard of grits and just put them in a pot and ignored them until they were needed. We won't be back. read more

I went inside to order my meal to go. The bartender took my order and she was really nice. This place is clean and the decor is cute. As for the food...it was ok. Definitely NOT my favorite place to go but wanted to try it. The sausage patties tasted like a thin hamburger with seasonings on it. The potatoes were like anywhere else serving fried potatoes and the gravy was blah. The eggs were good though. Above and beyond! I usually order the Shrimp & Grits on Uber Eats. Recently my orders have not included the bread that comes with the meal. I called them to complain and one of the owners came to my HOUSE to drop off a box of bread and free entree coupons. I was a little disappointed about my Uber Eats orders but sometimes mistakes happen but going above and beyond for a customer is something that is truly appreciated in a service industry. The owner was extremely positive and polite and the employees are lucky to work for a guy like this! I gave them a visit, the ambience is SO GORGEOUS. The place looks really nice definitely upscale cafe. The spiked coffee was delicious and all of the servers are always smiling and friendly. As expected, the Shrimp and Grits was way better dining in vs ordering takeout. I'd definitely try to dine in more. 10/10 read more

My friend and I went into Another Broken Egg Cafe today because we love the place and were excited for some delicious breakfast. We were greeted by our amazing server, Josh, with high fives and getting to know our names. Every time he came over to our table he'd have a new conversation starter and would say our names. It was a slow morning because of the bad weather, but you can tell that Josh truly loves his job and does this with everyone. Ok! Totes a dynamite stellar epic place to get a bodacious breakfast! It's clean and new and most importantly they have a menu all their own. Anyone can do eggs and bacon.. This place has an exceptional selection of culinary inventions. I got the cinnamon roll French toast and it didn't even need syrup it was so good! The food was excellent! The service was fairly good. The wait list sucks. We were there from out of town and did not know that we could do the online wait list. We waited 40 minutes for a table after watching people come in off the street and get seated immediately. I inquired about what was going on and the manager told me they checked in online and walked away. The assistant manager knew I was perturbed and came over and explained it better. He went out of his way to get us seated as soon as possible and to get us taken care of. He managed to save the day. We will probably go back but wouldn't have even consider it after my interactions with the Manager. He was a poor representative of the brand. read more

We ordered the beignets, a side of grits, and two pick 2 meals; crab cake benedict and jambalaya, turkey sandwich and tortilla soup. The beignets came out quickly but they were hard as a rock, which was disappointing because the marmalade was so tasty! We requested they be sent back and the server tried to argue with us. From that moment the service quickly fell downhill. I had just gotten out of the hospital which was obvious as my hands were both bandaged, it was just an inopportune time to be rude. The rest of the staff was very kind and others seemed to have enjoyed their food and experience. 2 stars for seeing others enjoying their morning and for the rest of the staff being kind in passing. First of all, the only poor reviews are from immediately after they opened... if you need perfection so you can review, maybe wait a couple of weeks... This was a wonderful experience all the way around. The service by Saki was wonderful, the food we had (there were three of us) came out hot, fresh, quickly, and correct (even with all of our special requests to our order.) We had the pleasure of meeting John, the owner, and getting to visit with him, as well as see him work alongside the rest of the staff and not just talk to people! The environment was fantastic, we didn't have to wait, the booth and dishes were all clean, the temperature wasn't freezing (unlike other restaurants in our neighborhood.) First time at any location of Another Broken Egg, although I've seen them around at other destinations. The food absolutely did not disappoint and the service...Raelynn was SPECTACULAR. Charming, easygoing and helpful. Loved every minute here. We got in early on a Saturday morning (8:15a) and we were sure happy we did, because by the time we left, it was packed inside, with a good sized crowd on the sidewalk. Biscuits and gravy here were probably the best I've had since moving from Kansas 35 years ago. The coffee was delicious. The place was VERY clean, including the bathrooms. Everyone in my party of five said their meal was absolutely terrific and thanked me for choosing the place, so BIG WIN all the way around. read more
