This was a surprisingly excellent breakfast. I didn't have great expectations, because they were short staffed, as so many restaurants are right now. But overall good food and attentive service. My wife and I were pleased. read more

I've easily eaten here more than 50 times and have never had buyers remorse. Their city grits are the best thing ever. I love their bacon which is made in the oven, and the sausage which is different than any I've had, in a good way. Eggs are always on point. Really the only complaint I have is the coffee. It has been consistently bad. I ordered a cold brew and it was definitely better. Also would be nice if they had a black tea alternative. Earl gray would be great. Only hot tea option is some herbal stuff with no caffeine. read more

Delicious food. Had it delivered to the Hampton Inn and it was super fast and very hot when I got here. Better than most room service hotels. read more

This is my FAVORITE breakfast place!!! You could literally pick with your eyes closed and be satisfied with whatever you choose on the menu!!!! The beignets are a MUST have, and the coffee is phenomenal too!! read more

Came here for the first time TODAY and the food was sooo good. I got the Hey Lucy! Omelette and my boyfriend got the shrimp and grits. I really like the location that it's at - located right off of 121 and it's ducked off kinda behind Hard Eight BBQ. Anyway, back to the food; I tried some of my man's shrimp and grits and it was BOMB. Went to New Orleans back in October and this beats NOLA's style so much. My omelette had chorizo, sautéed onions, cheese and avocados served with hash potatoes salsa and sour cream. The omelette was amazing although the chorizo could have had just a teensy more spices but I still enjoyed it as is. Hell, I killed the whole plate! I would def come back for more and this place's deliciousness! read more

I absolutely love this place... everyone here is absolutely lovely, best food and customer service thus far. Since I've came here I have gone no where else for brunch. I try something new EVERYTIME and I'm never disappointed. All the waitress are so lovely, especially Dina. If I could give it more stars I would. Next time I'll post a pic, problem is it be so good I forget to stop and take a pic.. read more

I would go back every day if I could! We had a server who was training, he and his trainer were both very personable and fun but not too overwhelming for a slightly-hungover-Sunday-morning! We started with beignets, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and had some honey-jelly type thing with them, seriously to-die-for. Then we got a strawberry lemonade sparkler (dangerously good) and a blueberry lemon mimosa. Our main food was two omelettes (baquezo I think? And Louisiana-inspired one, can't remember the name...) which were humongous and delicious. We got the loaded city grits (do not pass them up) and English muffins on the side. We went in starving and both left with to-go boxes!! Only downside.... $47 for our breakfast YIKES!!! But worth every penny for a splurge once in a while!! read more

Love eating brunch here! The crab cake Benedict's are my fav to order! This time we had Jacob as our server and he is by far the best! So attentive and nice. Ask for him next time you go for brunch. read more

This place is all things breakfast, but better! If you desire sweet you're covered; Or perhaps your taste buds lean towards the savory, not to worry, they got you too. Along with great food, comes exceptional service. We had Q as our waitress, and she was awesome. You can't go wrong with this place read more

I thought I'd give it a second chance. Nothing has changed. If there were a '0' star rating ,that's what it would be this time. Asked for a little less spicy Bloody Mary. No change. Service was really, really bad. 45 mins before order was taken. Still way toooo expensive for the small breakfast. I won't come back. Too bad for broken egg because we have a big family and they won't be returning either. read more

Great food! The Bloody Molly was a great twist on the Bloody Mary! Service was good! Will definitely be going back. read more

Sadly we've stopped coming to this location. It was easily our favorite for some time. Unfortunately the food and service has gone dramatically down hill. Food: we've had to ask for food remakes several times. We've been served burnt bacon, biscuits, pancakes and waffles. We have also gotten under cooked waffles, still gooey and uncooked inside. My daughter was given eggs that got mixed with peppers when it was just supposed to be scrambled eggs. And the last time we were there, they had to remake the pancake batter because someone added so much salt to the batter. Management has always had no issue remaking food and taking wrong items off our check. We wouldn't ask for more. The issue with service we have is that they seem under staffed and we have had to chase down waitresses to get orders places, refills and to tell someone about our food (servers were not usually the ones who brought the food out and the runner literally ran back to the kitchen when the food was dropped off). After 3+ separate occasions of having big issues, we just decided it wasn't with it. Hopefully when we come back in a few months or so, it will be different. We really did love this place. It was amazing. read more

My fiend and I were looking for a cutesy brunch place close to carrollton and decided to try this place! Best decision ever! The food was delicious but moreover the beignets are what I'm coming back for! Perfectly warm and powdered with sugar, they're served with a side of some citrus-honey syrup that was simply to die for! I also got the sriracha Bloody Mary and it was good, nothing too special but not bad for the price considering how it wasn't in uptown or Plano or something. Overall, would recommend and would come back! read more

Was so excited to try this place the menu sold me. However service on the patio today was horrible. Food took almost an hour to come out. Order was incorrect 2x. I called in for a manager and the manager never came out. We declined our order they asked did we it redone for the 3rd time. At least 2 of my guest got to somewhat enjoy their breakfast. Maybe I'll try a different location and dine inside. The inside tables seemed to have less issues and were enjoying their meals. read more

I'm always in search of a great breakfast place for the weekends so we came in this past Saturday to try this new place out and I LOVED it! Tip: you can add yourself to the online waitlist to save yourself some time if you hate long waits like me Service: Awesome! Hostess at the front was super sweet and when we left, she said "bye" and addressed me by name. Our server was quick, friendly, and attentive. She was great about checking on water and coffee levels. Something that was above and beyond? They gave us a free order of biscuit beignets (a full order, not half!) since it was our first time! Food: So good! Prices are fair and the menu has a wide range of choices including pancakes, omelettes, benedicts, healthy choices, and even burgers/sandwiches. We had: - Biscuit Beignets: as I had mentioned, we received these complementary (as did the tables around us), which was great because we were going to order them anyway. These are "biscuit" beignets so they're denser, but amazingly good in their own right. The order comes with a honey marmalade, which I ended up loving. The marmalade had a good amount of orange zest in it so the bright citrus flavor went really well with the fried doughy goodness. - Bacquezo Omelette: This was hubby's choice and it received two thumbs up. I had a bite and thought it was delicious, but definitely on the heavier side. - Floridian Omelette: This was my selection and I was one happy camper. I appreciated that there was a good amount of crabmeat so I could actually taste the flavor. I was a little apprehensive about the whole "cream cheese-filled" description, but it just turned out to be a small amount of cream cheese smeared inside the omelette. Definitely not necessary in my opinion (I thought the omelette was rich enough as is), but it wasn't TOO much either. Food was delicious, portions were large, the wait was short (thank you again, mobile waitlist), and service was great. ABE is certainly a welcomed addition to this rapidly growing area! read more

I was meeting a few of my friends for brunch there today. My friends were ready to order and I was looking at the menu. I tried this restaurant while visiting in Arizona and recommended it to my friends. Our waitress was very friendly and she came by to take our drink orders. She brought us our drinks, and disappeared for at least 20 minutes. When we caught up with her again we told her we were ready to order. Our food took over 35 minutes to arrive, I had to ask another waitress to check on it, after the waitress checked on it our waitress came out with their food. I had ordered the biscuits and gravy but my order was missing the biscuits and gravy. I'm not sure if he was the manager, but he apologized and said the biscuits were super Doughy and he wanted them to be awesome. I asked for a coffee and extra gravy on the side and he was very accommodating. The food was all right, kind of like diner food nothing out of this world. But it hit the spot. read more

It's more like 3 1/2 stars but I can't give half stars. Anyway, my sister, nephews and myself came here on a Friday for brunch which wasn't crowded at all so we were seated almost immediately. They started us off with complimentary Beignets, which is one of my faves so I got really excited but when we got it, I thought it was just okay; kinda disappointed. I ordered their Bananas Foster French Toast and Crab Cake Benedict (yes, I got both but I shared it). Everything we ordered was good but we couldn't finish it since their portions were generous. My sister and I were admiring their decor and their cute plates and mugs. Our service was great and everyone was happy. read more

This place is one of the top brunch spots in the DFW area, IMHO. The eggs Benedict was very good, and the drink selection was awesome.

I'll definitely be back great atmosphere the strip and grits was amazing my wife loved the mimosas

Best beignets is North Texas!! Amazing food and kind servers! One of my favorite brunch spots!

The Floridian Omelette and Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancakes were awesome, the service was great they new everything about their menu and did their job perfectly. 10/10 Definitely go again highly recommend. read more

First time to visit this new location in the outskirts of the grand scapes development. Came in a little past the breakfast rush and got an outside table with the most pleasant and hard working server named Jerrick. We were quickly greeted and equally quickly served with some delightful sugar coated beignets with marmalade. A ho hum mimosa but hit the spot... had the steel cut oats with fresh fruit and honey. A perfect size and nice presentation but in a tiny little bowl making it a bit tricky to eat. Others at the table had the cinnamon French toast which was also deemed good but not great and the lobster omlete with potatoes which again good. Plates had a strange film on them that we napkin wiped off but they use plastic plates possibly outside only yet may be an opportunity. Presentation has 5 stars.... our server has 5 stars... the food overall eh... 3 1/2... mimosas a 2 star.... definitely worth a trip back to try their different options but know what to expect now. read more

Our waitress Tex was amazing, she took our drinks and food order right away, the food was great, excellent flavor overall. I did not put them a 5 starts because the place was freezing and the decoration looks like another IHOP restaurant. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed on the food. read more

First time here, fantastic! You get a complimentary order of beignets and they are gooood. We got the chicken biscuit with egg & gravy and black stone Benedict, both were ridiculously good. The city grits were subbed and again ridiculously good. Jolene was our server and she was awesome! read more

Kiddo says - "Best chicken and waffles ever!" Chipotle honey came with it and is sooo good, but kiddo had maple syrup instead because it has just a bit of kick. Hubs had the cinnamon roll French toast and it was heavenly - his words. Came with lots of fresh fruit on top, too. I had the biscuit and gravy. It's definitely not a boring white gravy - lots of favor, like they whipped it up in the sausage drippings. Last thing, our server Devin was fantastic! He was attentive, offered his suggestions and took good care of us! read more

This food was not worth writing home about. The food I got was burnt, or not even hot enough to warm the fixings on it. Ordered the hash brown Benedict which our waitress recommended but the hash browns were hard and over cooked. None of the food came to the table hot. I also got a side of cinnamon French toast which was hard. $60 was not worth it. I'm not sure why they are trying to do a New Orleans style when the food is subpar. read more

Great place to go for brunch. I really like their French toast options and the spiked caramel cold brew.

The broken egg sandwich is delicious. Love going to brunch here. Highly recommended this place

In love with this establishment! The food was yummy and the staff were phenomenal! I love the atmosphere even though it was pretty busy when we got there. We were seated immediately because we opted to sit at the bar which was perfect because I don't mind not sitting at an actual table. Their drinks are good and perfect for brunch. Our waitress gave us their signature beignets on the house since it was our first time there and they were sooooo good!!! But my most favorite thing about the place is their coffee mugs because they are hand crafted pottery. Luckily for me they sell them for $18 so of course I had to get one! Definitely recommend and I can't wait to go back! read more

I really wanted to like this place. We love eating breakfast out as a family and enjoy trying new places. Sadly this was our one and only time we will visit. We started with over a 30 min wait. We tried to use the app no wait but it said it was unavailable at the moment. The restaurant was freezing inside. We ordered beignet to start with. They took at least 15min to come out. Our server warned us that they were hot cause they were fresh out of the fryer. They were room temp at best. Our food was ok. Nothing special. City grits were good but they were a upgrade. All of our food was slightly warm. Nothing was hot. Like I said at the beginning, I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately it fell short of expectations read more

I know I've given this place an awesome review before, but I just wanted to reiterate that my experience with Katie is perfect weekend after weekend. I drive a full 30 minutes to get here because the one near me closed. Are you still at the bar, and Katie takes care of me. She knows my order for food and her drink. I never want for anything. There's never a delay. There's never a mistake. Katie always has a great attitude and is welcoming. read more

Went there for brunch today. There were 4 of us. It was busy and it took 20+ minutes for our food to arrive. However only half the order came out. The waitress said the rest of the order would be right out. Both tables on either side of us got their food at the same time with no additional delays. My wife saw the waitress speak to the manager who glanced towards our table but didn't come over. After another 12 minutes I told the waitress to cancel my order but have the manager come visit us. He didn't come over for another 7-8 minutes. When he did finally come over he asked what we wanted. Really? We wanted our food to come out together! He didn't offer any explanation for the delay or apology. Needless to say I won't be visiting this establishment again. read more

Neat little place that is a chain expanding into Texas. We ate here for breakfast for 2 days in a row since there is not many breakfast options in the area that we were interested in. Floridian omelette was delicious! Would have liked a lighter cream cheese such as goat cheese or maybe just a little less cheese, but that is my preference. Boyfriend liked his omelette and Bloody Mary. He thought it was a little weak. We both agreed the potatoes were perfect. Next day we had the half order beignets. Decent and the honey marmalade was the best part. I had the chicken and biscuit with over easy egg. Chicken was moist and crispy. Gravy was full of flavor. Potatoes again were perfect. Boyfriend had the sausage biscuit meal with eggs and enjoyed, but would have rather had mine. Lots of alcoholic drinks I would have loved to try, but unable to on this trip. read more
