The restaurant was partially busy, with one section clearly occupied. At the time, none of the seats at the bar were taken. The bartender was very hospitable and provided me with both the regular and summer menus, as well as a glass of water. She also asked if I would like anything else, such as coffee. Similar to the former Southlake location, I initially browsed their seasonal menu. I knew I could always order from the regular menu at a later time. I opted for the Soft Shell Scrambler. The crab was a generous portion. With the addition of scrambled eggs, several slices of andouille sausage, and potatoes, it became a substantial meal. Since the lemon aioli was applied near the end of the preparation, most of it fell on top of the crab, with some over the eggs. Apart from the green onions, there was hardly any indication of regular onions within the scrambled eggs. The sole sore spot was the coffee. Me and my partner have food poisoning after visiting this location. I love another broken egg but this location should be ashamed of themselves. I've never heard of premade mocha coffee before and the location should just be named another prepackaged egg because these eggs were ONE HUNDRED PERCENT Prepackaged. I've never had fake eggs at another broken egg so this was very disappointing. I have no complaints about their staff they were amazing. The entree was also very satisfying but if management is allowing fake eggs and premade coffee causing me and my partner to receive food poisoning after visiting then I hope they receive new leadership. read more

I've loved this brand since I first tried the White Rock Lake location 15 years ago. The food is fantastic. Leaving a review for this location specifically to call out the best service I've ever experienced in a cafe. Visited several days a row while on a work trip and was served by three waitresses over 5 or 6 visits. They were all incredible and made me feel like I was their favorite customer. Maggie stopped to say hi when I wasn't even in her section. Kiki made me the best Bloody Mary ever and was so nice and so humble. Kristiyana has a smile that rivals an east coast sunrise and will likely end up being the highlight of 2026 for me. Charlie's Angels got nothing on these three :) thanks for making me feel special. This was a chill spot we found for a late breakfast/early lunch. It's located in a strip plaza with plenty of parking. The menu has plenty of options. We were a party of 7, so we got to try a few different items. My fav dish was the shrimp and grits! We also tried the Floridian omelette. It wasn't bad, but living in Maryland has me spoiled with all things crab, so it was slightly underwhelming, but still good. And lastly, was the strawberry pound cake french toast! Introduced some folks to this place today. We enjoyed every minute of it! Loraine great customer service and did her best to describe their seasonal Lemon Pound Cake French Toast and I see why. All I can say is I am continuing to eat it. For me syrup is not necessary. My guests said that their meal had perfect seasoning and was prepared well! This place is such a gem. Aside from the traditional brunch items, we enjoyed the seasonal flavors. I was surprised when my husband ordered the maple spice cold brew & loved it (as he does not normally drink coffee or usually go for seasonal flavors). They were not busy (not surprised after eating there) and we got seated quickly. Server got our drink orders and $3.99 for a cup of regular coffee seems high to me. $3.29 for an iced tea and $4.19 for a cup of hot cocoa. I was excited to see chilaquiles on the menu and ordered them. Oh they were so sad. Not all all like I am used to. The portion size was so small, they had chorizo on them, sunny side eggs. I got breakfast potatoes as my side and they were crispy but flavorless. My husband got biscuits and gravy with sausage. Kidlet got chocolate chip pancakes which had a few chocolate chips shoved in the top, but it did come with an egg and a piece of bacon for $6.99 which was probably the best valued meal there. Overall this place was expensive and not very good. It was my least favorite breakfast experience and I would not return if in the area. Went here for breakfast a few days ago. The service was quick, we were seated right away, and were offered coffee, which we gladly ordered. When I saw they had beignets, I had to try them! We ordered the 1/2 order of beignets as we weren't sure if we would like them. It was served with honey maple syrup. They were okay, I mean i expected a little better texture. I've been here a number of times now. Usually with a friend and during the weekdays 10am-ish so there is never a wait. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is excellent. One of my fave is the lobster omelet, so good! The salmon lox/bagel and pancakes are also good. The fruit is always fresh as well. It's right next door to a cute little fenced in playground if you have little ones. The patio is nice too when it's not so hot out. The only negative is I wish they had better coffee drinks selection and should offer a few different milk substitute options. They pretty much only have plain coffee. read more

If you don't get in early, be prepared to wait some time for a seat; it is well worth the wait. I get the same thing every time: Smoked Salmon Benedict Toasted bagel, cream cheese, smoked salmon and poached eggs, topped with red onions, capers and green onions. With a side of home fried potatoes, never greasy, always fluffy and seasoned perfectly (though I do have a guilty pleasure of dousing them in ketchup and hot sauce) The eggs are always cooked to perfection. The hollandaise sauce; always pristine. The flavor explosion on the palate brings pure joy with every bite. Coffee, mimosas, Bloody Mary's with a host of delicious toppings; bacon, pickled okra, etc. It's all, quite simply put, perfect. My wife will get a traditional breakfast; eggs with a side of sausage or bacon and pancakes. Sometimes she will request chocolate chips in the pancakes and they always humor her. I brought my son here for breakfast once when he was visiting (when we lived in the area) and he said, "this is the best breakfast I have ever had." I went here with some friends for brunch on a Saturday. It is in a small shopping center near Grandscapes. This place has a mom and pop feel while being a chain in terms of the environment. I appreciated that it had a New Orleans type flare to the menu too. I got the Shrimp Benny $16.29 for my meal. This had great flavor and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The only issue I had with this at all was that the Focaccia bread was too chewy for my liking. I understand that it was most likely intended to soak up the delicious sauce it came with.
