Steak and eggs with blue corn dusted tots.

My two cents: well worth skipping a drive elsewhere for breakfast. Due to COVID and the TX snowstorm 2/21 we decided to staycation for our anniversary. I searched YELP for the best breakfast place near the Westin that we were staying in. I always have to search because my husband has so many restrictions. I was excited because I knew there were so many great options within a few minutes drive. It kept coming back to this place IN OUR HOTEL, but it only had one review. I decided to look over the menu and the first things I saw included organic eggs and sustainable foods. I told my husband we weren't going anywhere expect downstairs. There were only 3 tables with people and we sat right at the window overlooking the golf course. By the time we were done it was just us. Quiet and comfy. My husband ordered the burnt end brisket hash and eggs. He hates tomatoes but said these blistered cherry heirlooms were delicious. I had the steak and eggs. Mostly because I really wanted to try the blue corn dusted tater tots. Don't think regular taster tots. These are fresh made and soft inside a crispy blue corn dusted layer. The flash fried greens were purple kale (may vary??) And it was really really good. I'm growing kale this year because of this dish. The only thing I would change was the over salting on the greens (I still ate them they were that good) and the fact that my paper menu had coffee spilled on it. Which means someone else had there COVID hands on it. I carry hand sanitizer so not a deal breaker for me, but might be for others. This is the only two things that kept it from a five. Service was good and if you read this review all the way through. Good for you....because here is a tip. 15% off your bill (minus alcohol) if you check in with YELP!!

Incredible view, creative breakfast menu and many must haves!! Definitely in my list for business breakfasts as the view is incredible and you can do your 930am call outside on the patio.

Water here many times as I stay at the Westin often. Try the steak & and eggs breakfast or Texas Benedict!

Had the burnt ends hash. A different take on the hash but all the flavor was there!

Had breakfast here yesterday. Food was spot on and tasted great. Had the burnt ends hash.

This is a late post but took families to their thanksgiving brunch and food was amazing! We are all picky eaters and even the kids absolutely loved the food .

The breakfast buffet was great !! We stopped in thinking it was a new restaurant not realizing it's part of the hotel.

The restaurant has a great…read moreatmosphere and is very spaced, out as a lot of breakfast/brunch places tend to stack people/tables on top of each other. The service here was amazing! The place is also toddler friendly with a great kids menu, as my 3 year old devoured his Mickey pancakes! With a 3 year old things tend to spill, and when the apple juice spilled, the staff immediately helped clean the miss and get him a new juice! The waitress also made sure my wife wife and parents coffee was always filled along with my diet cokes refills! You can tell that the staff really enjoy to work here! The food was delicious my family all ordered breakfast items, and devoured their food, they also are very flexible with any modifications, and had sourdough toast, which was delicious! The only knock I have was that the bacon was not the tastiest. I'm a sucker for a good buffalo chicken sandwich, so I also ordered one, and it was delicious, highly recommended it if you come for lunch or if you're not a breakfast person. The fries were also delicious and had a great crisp. Eggsquisite will definitely be part of the brunch/lunch rotation for me and my family going forward!

However, when we arrived we were told they don't take reservations for the weekends. She booked directly through their website (not a third party like OpenTable or Resy). The staff were very understanding about it and we only had to wait about 15 minutes for the table. Their menu is large with options for anyone. My daughter enjoyed her Mickey pancakes. My wife thought the biscuits and gravy were tasty. I thought the traditional breakfast with apple sausage and cheesy grits was excellent. We will definitely try this place again in the future to try more menu options.

Warm wood tones, beautiful lighting, and that perfect upscale-yet-cozy feel make the whole place feel special. The location is ideal too -- easy to get to and surrounded by that lively Shops at Legacy energy without any of the chaos. But the food? Next level. The elk tacos were straight-up fantastic -- perfectly seasoned, tender elk, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of heat. I could have eaten a second order without hesitation. Then came the chicken fried steak, and it did not disappoint. Crispy, golden crust, juicy and flavorful meat, and that classic creamy gravy that tastes like it was made with love. Every bite was pure comfort food elevated. Everything about the experience felt thoughtful and elevated, yet still warm and welcoming. If you're in Plano and want a restaurant that nails both the food and the atmosphere, Haywire is it. I'm already planning my next visit. Hands-down 10/10. Go now -- you'll thank me later!

It's got that Texas feel to it, but cleaned up a bit. Comfortable, but still a little polished. The food was really solid across the board. You know how brunch can sometimes just be... fine? This wasn't that. Everything tasted like someone actually cared about it. Good seasoning, cooked right, and just enough creativity without overdoing it. It still felt like brunch, just done properly. Drinks were great too. Not over-the-top, just well-made and easy to enjoy. Definitely the kind of place where one turns into two without much convincing. Service was smooth--friendly, attentive, but relaxed. Nobody hovering, nobody rushing you out. Just a good flow to the whole meal. We ended up sitting there longer than we planned, just hanging out and enjoying it, which probably says the most. If you're in Frisco and want a brunch spot that actually feels worth going to, Haywire's a safe bet.
