Came here around 9:30am. There weren't a lot of people yet so we got seated immediately. We had 3 adults and 2 kids. Ordered the dollar pancakes for my son- it comes with milk/juice, 3 dollar pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and yogurt. I got the eggs Benedict with country potatoes. I enjoyed the eggs Benedict. Eggs were cooked great and the hollandaise sauce was good. Country potatoes were hot and crisp. My son never received his yogurt while we were there. I didn't remember until after we left. I also tried the beignets. It had a lot of powdered sugar on them but it was good. I liked the side sauce that came with it. The only issue we had was that we had sat down and ordered way before another table sat down but they got their food before we did. We had to ask our waiter where our food was and a few minutes later, he brought our food out. Before we asked him, he came by and told us there was one ticket before ours. My husbands food came out not complete and he forgot to our beignets. Overall, a decent place for food and there's different items I've not seen before like lobster Benedict but there was just some disconnect on what happened to our food. read more

This was our first time here for breakfast. We tried once before but there was a long wait. That is always a good sign that the food is worth waiting for but I am not very patient. This time we arrived early and got right in. The place is very clean and our service was excellent. The food was pretty good but not OMG good. My wife's sausage had no flavor but everything else else OK. This location is a bit of a hike from our home so I would not make a special trip just to eat here. Today was our first and last time here. First, I'll start with ambiance. Some of this is not in the restaurant's control, so it's more for awareness of the clientele. There were several large, rowdy parties. They were split up into several tables, so they yelled from table to table to carry on their conversation, and walked and milled around between tables. They were very loud. There were also several crying babies. So, if you're looking for a spot to talk and enjoy a meal, that may not be possible here. We couldn't hear each other across the table. The service was abysmally slow. It was well over an hour before we got our food, maybe an hour and 20 minutes. They were out of napkins, so everyone was using cocktail napkins. They were out of potatoes, so I had to choose between grits and fruit. How do you run out of potatoes? Someone should have gone to the grocery store to get some... not rocket science. We also smelled something disgusting from our table, like rotten food in a trash can. And the restrooms... gross. Toilet paper on the floor, really sticky spots on the floor, loose toilet seat. I could go on and on. The food was about a 2.5 of 5. The sauce on my omelette was way too salty. The kids pancakes were tiny. Like a toddler size serving. If you have an older kid like my 10 year old, get an adult meal. He is not a big eater at all, but when he saw the portion he was visibly disappointed. He ate it all quickly, then ate some of my food, and we both left hungry. The only saving graces were that our server was nice and my son enjoyed his tiny serving of pancakes. Didn't eat here, because I didn't get a chance to, because they claim pet friendly on their website but when you show up they have no outside seating. Apparently outside seating is based on how they feel the that day, so there's no way to know if there's actually pet friendly seating or not. So I end up driving 15-20 minutes to a restaurant and they don't have it they say they have. Very frustrating. read more

We were looking for a decent place for breakfast, ran across another broken egg. Really good coffee, but that's about all that stood out. Most of their food came with pork or seafood or so it seemed. I got a waffle which was not hot enough to melt butter and my wife got smoked salmon Benedict that left much to the imagination. This is one of the things that she looks forward to when we go out to breakfast and it did not live up to her expectations. Depending on what you like for breakfast this may have suited you well, but we should've read the menu first. Service was friendly not all that fast as the restaurant was half full when we got there and we still had to wait 20 minutes. UPDATE: after my review and 2 star rating, Mark the manager reached out is a very polite email apologizing for our experience and request that we ask five them another chance. We my wife and I had the opportunity to do just that this morning and the experience was significantly better. No lumpy grits and the beignets were cook perfect! I tried the Supreme Omelette and it was good. Moving my rating to 4 stars. Mark the manager was in the restaurant and was very kind and made sure we had a very good experience. He mentioned that new kitchen staff and other changes should solve the problems but to let him know if there are issues in the future. OLD review: Wife pulled this place up on Yelp so we decided to give it a try. Pictures and menus look great, unfortunately the food and presentation were sub-par. I ordered Bacquezo Omelette and it was over cooked/not fluffy at all. Anytime you have browning of the omelette it over cooked...which I turn made the items inside and outside the omelette the same. My side of grits were lumpy as heck. The beignets are terrible again over cooked, dry and hard. Cafe Du Monde would be ashamed. Mgmt: those beignets are mess please make a change. read more

This place is fantastic!! We had never been here before and went on the recommendation of my parents. I am so glad we did! The food was quite the experience! Our server Bracus was AMAZING! He used our names the whole time we were dining there. He was great with our kids and really made them feel important. We ordered waters and they came with fruit: strawberries, lemons, limes and oranges. They were beautiful. The classic French toast is what we ordered for our two littles and they loved it. They also had fresh fruit and yogurts. My parents had the shrimp bennies and the crab cakes Benedict. The crab cakes came with a side of grits that were super creamy. My husband ordered the Apple fritter French toast that is seasonal. It was AMAZING! I ordered the Lobster and Brie omelet. That was a taste sensation. Their Apple juice is super fresh. As an added treat, which may not happen on a regular basis, our server extraordinaire brought us some beignets with a delicious chocolate sauce and orange marmalade and fresh strawberries. So good!! My husband and I visited the Southlake (TX) location and had an excellent breakfast on a Wednesday around 9 a.m. The decor was fresh and vibrant. Our server, Ethan, greeted us promptly and brought us water and coffee. The first cup wasn't quite hot but he remedied that immediately. The mugs were piping hot and really good coffee! I ordered a traditional breakfast of scrambled eggs which were delicious. The fruit side was the best fruit side I've ever had. He got fried chicken over a fluffy hot biscuit with a peppery cream gravy on top. Scrumptious! And his potatoes were good. The manager came by and checked on us even though his kitchen was cooking and packing up a take out order for 40 people! Amazing, and I hope you'll have as good an experience as we did. read more

I love breakfast/brunch joints so we had to try this one out. I went with the eggs Benedict and my wife had the biscuits and gravy. The eggs Benedict was really good and my wife raved about the flavor in the sausage on the b&g. The only drawback was the slow service. We were seated right away but it took 15 minutes for our waiter to come over and another 45 to get our food. Glancing around the place, everyone was waiting for awhile to get served. Since we had to pick up our kid, we didn't have time to risk ordering desert so we left. When we left there was a huge waiting line to get seated, so I can only imagine how long they waited. Overall great food but not sure it was worth the wait. We will probably try again at an off peak time to see if it was a one-off. read more

Waited 30 minutes and then watch several other people and groups who just walked in and were not on the waitlist get seated. The hostess then says another 30 minutes. I stayed in line on my phone and had we continued to wait there they didn't text my phone to seat us until an hour and a half later.
