It appears to be a pretty popular brunch spot for Berea residents and I can see why! The menu and the space inside are huge! First thing I noticed, other than the ample parking available is that the cafe is decorated nicely and was busy, with lots of customers already there enjoying their Sunday brunch. My order was taken quickly by our very efficient server. While I waited for my build my own omelet to arrive, I tried some bites of my friend's meals, such as the lemon meringue blueberry pancake. My friend didn't think it was worth $8 despite being delicious. It does make for a pretty picture, doesn't it though? I also tried a few bites of the pork smotherer skillet ($15), which is essentially a heavily pork based meat skillet. This is a very heavy dish and my friend could only eat half of it. I don't think it will reheat very well, unfortunately, so only order it if you do plan to eat it all! See picture. Meanwhile, my build your own omelette ended up being $15.26 and my diet Pepsi was a shockingly high $3.69!!! Tasty and hearty, but the omelet should have had the meat also inside the omelet, like the cheese was. I think I was a little shorted on my meat here. After tax and tip, my bill was a shockingly high $25!! Based on the very outdated menu they have online, I thought I'd be spending 15 bucks, 20 at the most. Is Berea really the hopping spot where an omelet and diet coke can justify a $25 cost? No. Also, do not trust their menu online - the prices are very outdated. I do want to shout out our server, who was on the top of her game with our table of 11 women. So we did not deal with the slow service many other Yelpers seem to have experienced during their time here. Good brunch place near the airport, but overpriced. I did leave full though and with my bottomless pit of a stomach, that's very rare! Haha

We ordered two different Benedict plates, the smoked salmon and the Joe, with sausage. Our meal arrived, huge portions of Homefries, lacking in seasoning but nicely browned, the English muffins were toasted to hard which made cutting eggs Benedict a bit difficult and the hollandaise sauce got thicker the more it sat and was just okay, wish I would have got it on the side. The rest of the menu looked appealing enough, the eggs Benedict just want the go to for us.

That fried chicken took us all the way back. We're old school, and that's exactly how fried chicken is supposed to taste--perfectly seasoned, incredibly flavorful, juicy on the inside, and fried to a golden, crispy crunch. It was absolutely phenomenal. The waffles were just as impressive--light, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with an amazing texture. Every bite was on point. The experience was so good that I knew I had to bring my husband back because he's a huge chicken and waffles fan. It was his first time there, and without fail, he had the exact same reaction. From the first bite, he was sold. He absolutely loved it. When a restaurant delivers that kind of quality to an entire group and then exceeds expectations again on a return visit, you know it's the real deal. From the food to the service, it was an easy 5-star experience. We'll definitely be back!

Every bite I'm asking myself "does it get any better?" And the ambiance? Well lit, spotless, and the music was soulful and positive. You can't walk out without being happier than when you entered. It's my #1 choice for a phenomenal breakfast. Thanks to the amazing employees like Sunny (sp?) who pull it off every day, likely waking up at 5:00 am to serve their customers with a smile.

My server was super friendly and there was someone who was also super friendly and attentive, he went around with water and coffee and generally checked in. My veggie omelet was awesome and so were the potatoes. The biscuit I got was a bit past its prime but it was no problem for them to bring me a fresher one and it was so much better. Coffee was great too! I will definitely come here again.

Orderd the lobster and shrimp with white wine sauce and sweet potato pancakes. The white wine sauce was perfect with the lobster. The shrimp were cooked perfectly too. I will say the pancakes did not taste like sweet potato. I thought it was going to be mixed in the batter, but it just had the puree on top. The catfish was very flavorful but it could have been cooked little harder...if you eat fried catfish you know what I'm talking about.

Obsessed with their hash browns- I always ask for well done hash browns and they legit make them crispy (unlike numerous other restaurants) plus they have great flavor. Give the sausage patties a whirl too- my favorite patties by far (and we've been to numerous restaurants for breakfast). Quick to get you your coffee and even when there's been a wait, they get customers in and out quickly. Not to mention, they somehow remember my husband and I every time we stop and we've only been there about half a dozen times.

Not the best first impression. And since you have to go around the back of the building to exit --that part of the parking lot is even worse. I did hesitate , but I said what the heck, how bad can it be? I wasn't really greeted at the front just said how many --seated at a table for two. This place is very very tiny in comparison to the two that were in Cleveland with only one still in business. very few people here at high noon. Two tables with 1 and 5 at them . I haven't been to Luna's and maybe 15 years. air-conditioning isn't working. the wall vent that I can see very dirty. It's not decorated attractively ---all the flowers in pots are plastic. I see that there is maybe a second room off to the left, but I can't really tell. no idea why they need a second room it's after high noon and there's still nobody here. the booth upholstery needs repair and the chairs are in serious need of paint. Not much effort being put in to making this place something to look at --you know aesthetically pleasing ---I remember why I stopped going to Luna's in Cleveland. Server came over and asked me if I saw the specials and I said yeah. I would like a Diet Coke no ice and I picked the stuffed pepper special. she came back and said it's stuffed cabbage and I said no --so she wrote stuffed pepper w/mashed potatoes which I replaced with a baked potato so I could take it home and a bowl of wedding soup. The table of five seated before me just getting their food so we'll see how long the special which should already be 'ready' takes to get from the kitchen 20 feet away. So it took 20 minutes to get my plate of food. I cut into the biggest pepper I've ever seen in half to reveal about 95% rice and hardly any ground meat and there's a pile of army green broccoli that's way overcooked and most of the pieces look like they put them on the grill to heat them up. the baked potato was huge and cooked decently but potato flavor is lacking. See pictures attached. The one is when I first cut the pepper in half and the other one is what I left!!!!!! I'm getting ready to leave and am told I get a dessert of Jell-O or rice pudding; chose the latter. The soup and the rice pudding were the highlights of this meal. Server wanted to know if I wanted to pack up the rest to take home since there was so much on my plate. I only really ate the green pepper, all else was flavorless, and for all of this --the cost was $17. I tipped her well and still gave them two stars. Try it and see what YOU THINK.

The parking lot is tiny, crowded, busy; probably room for 6-7 legit spots. We had to park on the lawn. This place does not do reservations but I really wanted to dine in. Welp, there were only 4 tables in all in this whole building. Each table was full up and no one had food (always a terrible sign that service is snail's pace). There was no one there to greet us but a line of 3 customers at the counter standing before us and then immediately a family of 4 who entered after us. There seemed to be 1 worker who was the hostess, the waiter and busser. She very slowly handed out drinks to a table and asked if anyone in line was picking up an order--that answer was a resounding silence as it seemed everyone wanted to dine in. No more acknowledgement was given to the people in line. I noticed this place does not have real serve ware but only plastic takeout containers for DINE-IN...that seems super cheap, tacky and actually very wasteful for plastic one-use things. They didn't even invest in real cups as all waters and drinks were served in microplastic heavy styrofoam cups. We took this all in and stood in line for about 5 minutes before deciding this would definitely not be worth it for a 2hr wait. I'm happy for the people who are actually able to try the food here but as someone who does not want to wait hours for my piping hot food with a side of microplastics, I'm totally good.

The restaurant is small, cozy, and intimate, but also incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome. We were greeted immediately, seated right away, and given menus. Our orders were taken quickly, and the service throughout our visit was absolutely outstanding. One thing that really stood out was the teamwork. Everyone helped each other, whether they were working in the front or in the kitchen. You could genuinely tell they cared about creating a great experience for every customer, and that level of hospitality is hard to find. Now for the food... wow. This is easily one of my favorite places I've eaten while visiting Cleveland. I ordered the steak breakfast bowl, and let me tell you--do yourself a favor and order it! The steak was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. The potatoes were seasoned perfectly, and every bite was delicious. We also ordered the butter croissant with bacon, which was a huge hit, and the chicken and waffles. The fried chicken was absolutely phenomenal--crispy, perfectly seasoned, and honestly some of the best fried chicken I've had. Our only regret was not ordering extra chicken because we wanted even more! If you're looking for incredible food paired with exceptional service, this is the place. I truly hope this business is around for many years to come because every time I'm back in Cleveland, they'll definitely be seeing me again. Highly, highly recommend!
