    Eggs Benedict

This place is fine but the second time I've come away underwhelmed. I did the pick two with eggs Benedict and gumbo. The egg was over cooked (see photo) but not a disaster, but no ooze. The dish was very good otherwise. I like the gumbo but they forgot to include the rice that was supposed to come with it. The service was fine, I sat at the bar. Probably won't try it for a third time.

Pros: -Biscuit beignet -Mocktail options -Cinnamon roll french toast Cons: -Service timing (mocktail came out, 30 minutes later beignet, and then finally breakfast) -Chicken needs some spice and seasoning for the chicken and waffles (maybe a hot honey or maple sauce to go over it) -Most menu items had pork, very little options for vegetarian or other meat

Where Calories Go on Vacation Still exploring my local food map (two years in and I'm apparently still in the tutorial level), I decided to try Another Broken Egg Café. Spoiler: the only thing broken was my self-control. I went all in with Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, sausage on the side (because one sausage is never enough), crispy deep-fried potatoes, and scrambled eggs. The gravy had that peppery kick I like, so naturally, I made it spicier with hot sauce because I enjoy flirting with heartburn. For the "tribe," I got the cinnamon roll French toast, which looked exactly like a cinnamon roll wearing a breakfast disguise. It came topped with fruit, syrup on the side, and scrambled eggs. There was also a side of bacon--just two strips--which felt like a cruel joke. Also grabbed another order of the sausage gravy biscuits breakfast because sharing is for amateurs. Breakfasts here are big, prices are in the $10-$15 range, and they serve grown-up breakfast drinks for when you want to make questionable life choices before noon. Mocktails too, in case you want to pretend you're making questionable life choices. Will I be back? Absolutely. My diet, however, might unfollow me.

We didn't realize the place had only been open for three days when we stopped in. That explains some of the kinks in the works. A bit of a wait, slower service but friendly. The food was solid but nothing really stood out. The beignets were good and the pancakes were standard fare. Eggs were nothing special and the omelet was fine, not much structure and just kind of thrown together. Place is good for families and kids. If I could go half a star, I'd make this 3.5 stars. But not enough to push it to four. Hopefully the kinks get worked out and the food gets a bit better. Again; not bad just not not great.

Almost $6 for the vanilla cold brew? For that cold brew to be one small cup where it tastes like half of it is cheap vanilla syrup? Pass. Opt for a plain black coffee instead. Large variety of food options. Eating at 1230 on a Tuesday so not busy at all. The brioche bun on the burger was yummy- the burger itself was standard. The star was the cinnamon Roll French toast with the rum butter. The rum butter tasted like bananas. Very delicious.

I have been to Another Broken Egg Cafe at Easton different times over the years, but wanted to check out the Powell location. It did not disappoint, I was able to use my email for Birthday Pancakes with Strawberries, and I love getting the Traditional Day Starter with 2 eggs (scrambled), hand made sausage patties, English Muffin, and Potatoes. I got my belly filled. I love their own special House Made Pepper Sauce that is excellent for eggs and meats that gives it a huge kick. Hunter took great care of me and did a wonderful job in serving me. I will be going back to the Powell location of Another Broken Egg Cafe. You do not have to fight for parking and the pay the meter or garage like at Easton, but the Powell location will be busy especially on weekends and midday hours. The ambiance was very comfortable along with the cozy Fireplace there. They have a full bar where they serve Bloody Mary all day. It was worth it to check out the Powell location of Another Broken Egg Cafe. Thank you so much.

Great food! Our service was awesome as well. The biscuits and gravy are amazing. We had to wait 20 minutes but we'll worth it

This is a very bright lighted and well taken care of establishment with nice clean bathrooms as well. We received decent service, and received our food in a timely manner. We started with the Burnt Ends Poutine, which is a shareable sized loaded French fries with Smoked Brisket, Cheese Curds, Beef Gravy and perfectly pickle red onion on top. For 15$ I Never had fries this way but it certainly didn't disappoint and was very interesting. Everyone decided on burgers. Two of us got the French onion burger and two of us got the All American Burger. The French onion burger consisted of very very caramelized onions, three different cheeses, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato and a toasted bun with butter accompanied by french fries. The caramelized onions were so creamy and tasty. It really brought the whole burger together. The All-American Burger consisted of grilled onions, American cheese, a special sauce, bacon, lettuce, tomato on a buttered toasted bun with fries. The burgers were pretty big in patty size and we all finished our food with no problems. I'm glad we came here instead of spending over 100$ on 3 meals at the zoo!!

We shared the street corn nachos and you'll have to try the freshest jalapeños on them, by far the best nachos ever! I kept with the theme and did the Al pastor tacos but with grilled chicken plus queso and chips on the side! Stuffed and amazed at how quick yet fresh and delicious everything was. Every single person kept saying how great their meal was. Danielle, the manager even stopped by to make sure everyone was taken care of! After an amazing meal like that we had to try the desserts, the butter cake and banana were both great but definitely think if you only get one, the butter cake is where it's at. I will absolutely make sure to plan a visit here on my next trip.

As always, asked for recommendations from our server. Shout out to Jett because everything he recommended I loved! Favorite part of the meal was the short rib and carrot hummus and the cheddar scallion biscuits. I liked it so much I actually thought of ordering some to go. Menu has so many options to choose from, it caters to many types of palettes. My bevy, the Blackberry Cooler, was refreshing. My friend got the non alcoholic version and said it was too tart. Only disappointment of the night was they ran out of the brown butter cake. The banana caramel cake was still a good substitution. Plenty of parking but do recommend to make a reservation to avoid long wait times. Cant wait to come back and enjoy a happy hour.

Drove through several lots with others prowling as well. Ended up finding street parking right in front of of the joint. Line was not out the door, which was delightful since it was only 4 degrees out, but my butt was just inside right up against the door. By the time I got to place my order, a spot opened at the counter to enjoy the meal. This place is as much of a coffee house as it is a restaurant. I saw 4 taps and was hoping for an IPA, but they were for coffee and teas. Got a Diet Coke instead. Had the Smashburger and the fried rice to take out. The burger was one of the most awesome burgers I have ever had. I don't know what they put in it, but it was just downright delicious. The fried rice was for my daughter's lunch tomorrow, but I took a few bites of it just for quality control sake, and it was very good as well. Unlike any fried rice you have ever had.

Not sure but my gut say probably.... Why? No one had come in for a "big"take out order, I think she forgot to log in our order as she was distracted with the table next to us that had their former cook there. I could see that easily happening under this situation.) After waiting another three minutes and no food, we were "over" Over the Counter and nicely told her were leaving. To cancel our order. She nicely tried to entice us to stay saying the owner was going to give us a gift certificate... but that just further solidified that they "knew" our meals timing had gone sideways and we had been neglected. We chose to leave and we dont really plan on coming back. Why? The inside seemed old. We saw the kitchen from our table. It seemed disorganized. It gave off a bad vibe. Add our wait. Meh.
