Food was good, service was not. Waited forever to get my food at the bar and for someone to take my card to pay.

Delicious food, very loud, very slow. Have a brunch cocktail -- Mimosa, Bloody Mary. Don't be in a hurry, tho.

Visited the Powell OH location - both of us ordered eggs - wife an omelet and I had Eggs Benedict. Food was cold at best - nice presentation - slow service - $4 for black coffee and a service fee on our bill. We live less than 2 miles from this location and do not plan to return...$60 Breakfast with tip...no booze. read more

Biscuit and gravy was well presented. Biscuit was undercooked. First impression was a cluttered and unkempt food counter. Never got any better during my entire visit. Waitress did not bus any dirty dishes from the counter even though she had time to chat with other waitstaff. I felt like I was eating in a kitchen full of dirty dishes. Not comfortable. My family made an online order for Mother's Day because we have had this establishment before but was very disappointed in the lack of service and missing items from the online order. This place should really be called "Another Disappointing Columbus Chain" restaurant. Food arrived cold, order was not accurate, and it was quite pricey. So many local establishments with better and less expensive food. Will not return. read more

If you like really heavy dishes, h3avy with the salt and butter , then this is the place for you. Unfortunately, this is not the restaurant for us. It's also pricey but I understand many of the dishes have seafood. Ambiance is average. Solid 3.5 stars. read more

My wife and I went here for late Sunday Brunch. They're still pretty new and they were very busy. We waited about 35 minutes for our food. I ordered the blueberry pancakes with lemon zest. Everything was overcooked. The pancakes were so over done that they were crunchy. The only way they were eatable was to soak them in syrup to soften them. My guess is that they would be good if properly cooked. My wife ordered Eggs Benedict and it too was overcooked to the point that the eggs were solid and pretty hard. It had obviously been sitting for a long time as the hollandaise sauce was dried and cracked. She thought it would probably have been a good meal if cooked properly and delivered fresh. This place is amazing. We just had maybe the second best breakfast of our lives. The food was amazing. Bourbon pancakes and strawberry poundcake French toast. Cocktails were on point. Service was wonderful. Place was clean, cozy, good lighting. Menu has lots of options. Prices were VERY good for the quality/quantity. We both stuffed ourselves and each had a cocktail and it was still under $50. Only slight downside was scrambled eggs taste like those premade mix eggs with an odd flavor and consistency, but I'll just order over medium next time. We went at noon on a Saturday and there was only a 5 minute wait even though it was packed, because there are sooo many tables. Will definitely be back. read more

I talked my husband into trying someplace new for breakfast. ABE looked interesting, the restaurant was clean and bright and the menu looked interesting. It quickly went downhill from there. When we walked in there was no smile or friendly greeting from hostesses. They seemed indifferent to us being there. We were seated across from the entrance where the couple ahead of us had asked to be moved. After a few minutes and when someone came back we asked to do the same. Cold air from the opening of the door and the congestion of people made it uncomfortable. When I mentioned it to the girl who moved us, she said she was aware of that. There were at least 6 other empty tables. We then sat for about 15 minutes waiting for someone to take our order. Offering coffee when we sat down would have gone a long way. We never got a chance to check out the food because we left. Our waitress came by to deliver food to another table and apologized for the service, she had been waiting in the kitchen for the other tables food. We went to our usual breakfast place got a friendly greeting when we came in and had coffee within 2 minutes. I'd like to try ABE again when maybe they have more experience, but it may be a hard sell for my husband. read more

Ridiculously slow service, food not prepared properly. No refills on expensive Coke, coffee, tea. Rarely saw our server. Sat with dead plates on our table for at least 20 minutes. $50 for breakfast for two, most of it inedible. I had heard good things about this place so I dropped in on a Sunday. 10-12 people standing in line waiting to be seated! Both hosts, two Hispanic guys, at the desk were on their phones! What gets me is: They saw us standing there and didn't stop! They continued staring at their phones without acknowledging any of us...So Natalie, a server, walked around the hosts on their phones, sat me and I informed her... Then, the hosts from before glared at me for saying something about them being on their phones like I was the bad guy. Later I saw one of the guys with a big plastic tub so I assume he was a busser. But for Natalie I would have walked out. I had the Potato Benedict. It was good, different breakfast food and the coffee was good but not cheap and if I am paying for a restaurant experience and I walk in the hosts better not be on their phones or next time I will walk out for sure! Don't waste your time or your money. This place is brand spanking new and the food is very unremarkable and meh at best. Service is bad. Place a to-go order here a couple weeks ago at a relatively standard brunch-ish time. The order was approximately 10 minutes behind (this in itself isn't that big of an issue but certainly isn't "good") which allowed me to wait inside and subjected me to observation of substandard staff behavior in regards to customer interaction both with myself and other patrons. The killing blow is- they screwed up my order, leaving out a couple of items. Upon discovering this after I returned to my humble abode, I called the restaurant to determine my best course of action. Ms. Answers Phone at Restaurant could not have been less accommodating or sympathetic to the fact that they had screwed up the simple transactional interaction of- I give you money, you give me food and asked if I would like to return to the restaurant to pick up what they had forgotten to give me (I did not want to turn around and take the 30-40 minute round trip for some bacon and sausage) or if she could have my address so that they could send me a gift card, which supposedly they have been doing in similar situations (as in- we suck at actually giving people their food, so this happens a lot). I opted for the latter but as you may surmise, alas, here I sit- gift cardless and angry, shouting into the void in hopes to warn you off of a similar, poor experience. read more
