I was dining alone so I opted to sit at the bar although I was on the yelp waitlist for a table. The bartenders were very attentive (there were two). I ordered the a Bloody Mary and the lobster and Brie omelet w/potatoes. The Bloody Mary was perfect with the right amount of spice and accoutrements. The omelet was also very good and big (couldn't finish it). Overall the service was good, the food was good, and the value for the buck was good. I would def recommend. read more

The food is really good but do not go here unless you have a lot of extra time. They are super slow

We've been to the one in Mississippi, another one in Panama City and now here! Same great service same great food! Will be back next year ! read more

I reserved my spot on "NoWait App" and waited for 2 hours, got to the freaking restaurant and they then tell me that they were not doing the app today! After I freaking waited TWO HOURS! I could have been somewhere else by then! If you use a freaking app, DISABLE IT if your not USING IT THAT DAY!!!! Freaking STUPID! I'm so disgusted . UPDATE!!!!! (5-18-18)..... Due to my husband wanting n to eat at the restaurant that I had been talking about for two days we stayed at the restaurant, got back on the wait list to only be called about 30 minutes later. We went in and was seated and had immediate service. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. The we ordered our food. (I had the seafood omelette and husband had the traditional breakfast.... pictures to come) and it was AMAZING!!!! The only thing I would fuss about at this point is how small my table was because the dishes that the entrees come in is nice sized and we had plates everywhere. Anyway, we had a nice time, the food was amazing and I changed my rating from a 1 to a 4. Thanks to my husband for giving them a second chance because I will be going back. Just in Fairhope, Al. read more

Loved this morning's brunch at Another Broken Egg! There were just two of us, so we sat up at the breakfast bar. Our server was terrific. We had omelettes- The Floridian & the "Hey Lucy". Both were delicious! I had the City Grits on the side, and they were the best restaurant grits I've ever eaten! The coffee was good too. I'd highly recommend this as a breakfast or brunch destination when your on the Emerald Coast. read more

Great food and service for breakfast! Mimosas were excellent. Eggs Benedict fabulous! Many unique additions to traditional items, so this has a lot more than traditional bacon and eggs. read more

My go to is either the Hey Lucy Omelet with Chorizo or the Pancake Trio. What's not to love about a medley of pancakes!? Choose 3 different pancakes. I get the bananas Foster with walnuts and caramel, the peach cobbler pancake, and the lemon goat cheese. Yummy yummy. Can't go wrong with the beignets as a starter. Shrimp & Grits are great. Im a local & eat here like once a month. The service isn't always the best. Today wasn't even "slammed". It's March....so it's not even "peak tourist season." We came at 10:30 before the church crowd. I look around & see empty Tables available but they weren't cleared off. Yelp said our wait was 8 minutes....we waited like 30. Then we didn't get a hello from our waiter or a beverage for another 15. Luckily we weren't in a hurry but I was getting hungry. At least they have a lil patio if you feel like sitting outside. read more

This place has always been a favorite of mine since I was a child, and it still is up to this day. Beautiful decor inside with a cozy atmosphere, and lovely staff to top it off. The food is delicious, and comes out nice and hot. Full of flavor and a nice variety of choices on the menu. Definitely deserves 5 stars read more

Had breakfast Sunday, Nov 20th, '22. Food was okay at best. Our server, Laurie(?) was the worst. Instead of a polite, courteous demeanor, her attitude was short and dictatorial. By the end of the meal, we were tired of her talking down to us. When she did bring the bill, she disappeared for so long that I had to ask the hostess to get her so we could leave. It's hard to ruin a breakfast meal, so I'd rate the food at about a 7. But the service? I'll try IHOP next time or cook at home. read more

We always go the ABE while vacationing if there is one in the area. This chain is wonderful! Lots of breakfast choices, food is great, place is clean and inviting, staff is friendly, personable and polite. A must go-to! read more

Not up to the hype if you ask me. The food is good but nothing special compared to other brush and breakfast places but it's convenient and fast for sure. The Eggs Blackstone Benedict had a slightly sweet hollandaise and the Chicken and Waffles had a delicious syrup that was sweet and chipotle but the chicken was super dry. The Floridian omelette is a really rich and creamy egg dish which I liked a lot but I couldn't eat the whole thing because it was sooooo creamy. My mood was ruined by the 10 flies swarming around me too. Maybe if they could have done something about that I wouldn't have been so annoyed. read more

Delicious breakfast. Went for brunch. I had the eggs Benedict, which were very good. The mimosas were great. Bloody Mary was one of the best I've had. The French toast is on my list next. read more

We waited over an hour for a pickup order. The staff was unprofessional. I wouldn't waste your time.

Slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow is an understatement. 15 minutes to be seated. Over an hour wait for the wrong food. Food was just ok. Our waitress was nice. Would not be returning - it's really broken. read more

It's an old favorite at Destin. Newer location. Can get healthy breakfast. I'm probably going to have to have a second breakfast after while because I ate smoked salmon and advocato toast for about half the calories I usually eat at breakfast. Reminds me of how I need to go on a lower calorie diet. Very good food and good service. Of course you are paying a lot more than the Waffle House or a fast food restaurant. So if the budget allows, give it a try. read more

Food is just average. Not really hot for brunch. For service, it took exactly 28 minutes to get our food. That is unacceptable. For Breakfast food, really!‍It is clear to me that ABE kitchen can not get the food out on Sunday mornings. BTW: during our wait for a table, one customer came to the cashier and said just give me my check, I cannot get a waiter. She said the waiter had too many tables for the outside area. That she would never come back. I doubt we will either. read more

Service was good and food just ok during my recent visit. I went with 8 of my girlfriends for brunch and we ordered a variety of drinks and food. The peach Bellinis are still my favorite thing here. They are sweet but not too sweet and not to peachy (b/c they use a fresh nectar instead of a mix like other places). Just delicious!! This trip I ordered the Egg Benedict as usual but got the Blackstone benedict instead, which includes grilled tomatoes and chopped bacon. I loved the tomato addition but prefer the ham over the chopped bacon (and I really love bacon but...). One of my eggs was poached perfectly the other was a boiled egg (I didn't have to cut into it to see that so this was a mistake of not only the chef but also the person checking quality before the plates go out). They asked if I wanted another...umm yes I do. So I did receive a second egg and it was poached correctly. Other issues we had during our visit: Special requests made during the ordering were not received unless ordered again (just 3 or 4 small things but when you see several people at the same table having to request again it appears to be a breakdown between server and kitchen). Some of the drinks were just too sweet (there is a blackberry cocktail that no one was a fan of due to sweetness). All in all this is still a spot we enjoy but I do think on the next trip to town we will try somewhere new at least once. read more

This used to be my favorite breakfast of bananas foster waffles, but they have decreased size of the former plate sized stack, and limited banana to a few slices. I should have taken a pic / it was sorry. That being said we had one on our party with food allergies who was able to eat here (no waffles!). read more

This is my favorite go to when visiting family. The food is wonderful! The service is as well. Every time we go I try something new on the menu, never disappointed. The go to every time is the city grits. If you think you don't like grits, these will change your mind. read more

If you have a gluten or dairy sensitivity DO NOT COME HERE. They obviously don't care. My daughter is GF/Dairy free. We made sure to stress this to the waitress. She was served an English muffin first, then when we finally got the gf toast it had butter on it. The waitress assured us it was not but several others tasted it and it was butter. You'd think they'd be more careful. Not only that but we got here at 10:30, didn't get served until 12:05, everything had been sitting under the heater and was completely dried out. Waitress didn't know the menu at all. Then, the credit card machine was down. They expected us to pay $126 bill with cash. Do not recommend at all. read more

Good food but took FOREVER to get it. There were literally 20 people eating in the restaurant and it took over an hour to get our food. When you're on vacation, the last thing you want to do is waste time getting food. Waitress was sweet. read more

It had great breakfast food. My kids were "starving" so our waitress was kind enough to bring out some toast prior to the rest of our food. I had the Belgium waffle and it was so light & yummy. Andouille sausage was flavorful but slightly charred. We also had pancakes which were a big hit at the table. Bacon was bacon which equals amazing!! House coffee was functional. It was sanitized between customers and tables were spread out. The staff was polite. I'd recommend dining there as well as using the waitlist via Yelp. read more

I'd give it zero stars if a could. Ordered takeout. Went 15 minutes after stated ready time bc I assumed it would be busy and be delayed. Was told food wasn't ready and waited 1.5 hours for our takeout after arriving. I should have left, I have no idea why I wasted my time, but gave benefit of doubt bc reviews. Woman behind the bar is rude and everyone inside and outside waiting was super frustrated. After waiting nearly two hours- was given cold inedible food & no comment on wait. Absolutely would never recommend. read more
