I always enjoy coming here but there are so many things I want to try on the menu that I struggle to decide! The lemon pound cake French toast is seasonal so I tried that and it did not disappoint. It doesn't seem like a lot but I couldn't finish. read more

We've been to Another Broken Egg before and always love our time there. I ordered a Belgian Waffle with scrambled eggs and sweet ham, though I was surprised the ham looks a lot like bacon. LOL! It was still really sweet and tasty, though! My husband ordered the crab benedict. The belgian waffle was really delicious with just a bit of syrup and didn't need any butter. The eggs needed a bit of ketchup, but otherwise were good, it's kind of hard to ruin eggs, though. Our server was very sweet and helpful, and even offered her personal advice on their seasonal foods, which would be good choices to try! The restaurant was pretty packed, but the atmaophere was still pretty chill and laid back, and it made for a good brunch spot to hit up. read more

Crazy manager James and Justin are amazing! Had a great time and good food and drinks

We love another broken egg in deerwood!! This restaurant is down the street from home and always consistent. We enjoy the seasonal items and the coffee is top tier with two options to choose from. Heather G is a rockstar and always ensures we are taken care of and enjoying ourselves. I couldn't say more great things about this place. If there is a wait to be seated, it is worth the wait. Patio seating is the hidden gem with the heated patio when it's colder! read more

I have eatin here a few times. Everything I have had has been really good and the service has been great. Try the beignets, you wont be disappointed. If you like grits, the city grits are the only way to go. If you want to sit outside, and it's a little cool, they have heaters outside. The eggs benedict are really good too. read more

First time for a quick breakfast with my son. Greeted and was able to sat down with no waiting since we were early on a Sunday morning ( 7:30) I ordered shrimp and grits which was ok- shrimp bit salty and the grits seems to be missing flavor. My son had the biscuits and gravy - biscuits are kinda dry. Maybe will try again in the near future. read more

I love another broken egg, and even though it is a food chain, it never disappoints! My server was so nice and attentive even tho her section was super full. We sat outside but they had the fans going so there was a nice breeze and no flys to bother us and our food. I tried the chicken sausage for the first time and it was amazing!! The waitress recommended it since I don't eat pork. There was a really long wait but if you join the waitlist you will get seated faster. read more

Our tradition after church is to grab breakfast, and by breakfast, I mean eating breakfast food during lunch time. Normally I let our group decide where we're going, but on this day, they threw the decision making to me. Because we tend to go during the busiest times, I checked to see if any breakfast places had the option to make reservations. Another Broken Egg popped up in the Yelp app and we were able to make a reservation. Score and score. I added six people to our reservation and requested two highchairs for the littles before we even left the church parking lot (let's just say this typically will save us a frustrated step of giving our name to the host/hostess and then play the waiting game inside or outside a restaurant. It will also save some of my sanity of me asking nugget to sit down because we have to wait. Try telling a toddler to wait. I dare you. We arrived to Another Broken Egg and this place was slammed. It has been a real scorcher here in Jax the past month, so the outside temps were hitting the mid-nineties. We let the host/hostess know we were here and they said they'd call/text when our table was ready. We all sat in the airconditioned car. Don't be fooled, I still had to explain why we had to wait, but at least we weren't sweating. The live wait times were on point. When our table was ready, there was a little confusion, and the original table they cleared off wouldn't allow highchairs. Since we had an infant, there was no way she could be in a booster seat. So we had to wait a bit longer to get another table. The table wasn't ideal, but it also meant we didn't have to wait longer, so that was a win. We were seated and handed menus. After looking over the menu, I really wanted the carrot cake pancakes, but when I asked our server about them, she said they were out. Sad face. My second option was their seasonal pumpkin waffle, which came with eggs and a meat (I opted for bacon). Nugget got a scrambled egg and toast. I also ordered a cold brew. The cold brew came out and was robust and cold. It was refreshing, because the interior of the restaurant got a bit warm. After about 15 minutes of waiting our waitress came out and brought us some beignets because it was our first time visiting the restaurant. These were their take on beignets (a bit heavier than an actual beignet), and it came with orange jelly/jam/marmalade. Our breakfast orders took a rather long time. When I say long time, I'd say at least another 20 minutes from the time we got the beignets. Which in toddler time is like a full fledged day. When our order came out, everything looked promising. I bit into my pumpkin waffle and while it was ok, it didn't really taste too much like pumpkin. It was just OK. Nugget wound up eating almost everyone at our table's bacon. So the bacon was approved by him and he had no complaints. I had a piece of bacon, it was good, but super salty. I know bacon is normally salty, but this one in particular was super salty. Pros: -Variety on the menu -Beignets were tasty -Cold Brew was good Cons: -Amount of time we waited for our food -Pumpkin waffle was just OK Will I come back? Yes, I'm willing to give it another try. Tips: Make sure you make a reservation and check online live wait times on the app, so you're not surprised about a long wait to be seated. read more

We had a great time for brunch there. So many options on the menu! It was really hard to choose, but we both were very happy with our choices. I liked that for the fruit cup substitute I got some real nice fruit selections: blueberries, mango, strawberries and grapes, and not the usual tasteless cantaloupes. My omelette was delicious and the waitress remembered to take out the items that I asked her about. read more

We had brunch here on a Sunday afternoon and it was REALLY busy. If you go at this time do the online waitlist. You'll save yourself a lot of time. Apparently they still have a large carry out business and the sit down business was jammed. So it took a long time to get our food even once we were seated. Our waiter was great, stopped by the table frequently to make sure drinks were topped off and to keep us informed about the food situation. Fortunately we weren't in a rush so it was ok. They have a lot of outdoor seating which is awesome at this time of year. All 4 of us liked the food we ordered, very tasty and prices are a little on the high side but isn't everything these days?? Overall we'd probably go back! read more

I would put a five start if the waiting line wouldn't be so long. This place gets super crowded for weekends breakfast. It has a super variated menu. Tasty and affordable. Definetivelly a go, but the line makes you think it twice, eat something before making the line. 8/10 read more

GLUTEN ALLERGY: I still left five stars as this is a very niche comment and I don't want the restaurant to suffer, but I have a gluten allergy and got extremely sick after eating from their "gluten-friendly" menu. They also brought out a gluten filled English muffin with my omelet that they took the dish back and "remade". The food was very tasty, hence the 5 stars, but I want gluten free / gluten allergy / celiacs customers to beware. You may not have the same experience but I got terribly sick and won't be back :( read more

The restaurant is a bit tucked away in the back of the tapestry shopping center so it was a little hard to find. First impression of the restaurant; small and the design seems outdated (but it makes sense since they claim to be a southern cafe). After being seated, I found a hair on the table . For first time customers they serve beignets. Our server brought over a plate of four beignets smothered in powdered sugar which her finger and pen touched. . Order: lobster Benedict with grits, shrimp and grits, biscuit and gravy. Everything was TOO SALTY! The lobster Benedict was soggy. The English muffin that it was served on seemed undercooked as it was still very doughy on the inside and wasn't crispy at all! Same goes for the texture of the biscuit. The shrimp and grits were by far the saltiest of the three entrees. It was also spicy which was a surprised as I don't recall spicy being in the menu. The only thing I enjoyed here was the grits. Other comments about interior design: they offer heated patio seating which makes seating outside comfortable during the colder months. Chandelier is crooked and a light bulb was out. I probably will not return nor recommend this restaurant to any of my friends. I'm really shocked at the quality of the food as it has a 4 star rating and over 500 reviews. read more

What can I say? I'm a fan! I know this is a chain. But the menu is piping hot and full of things I want to try. On our first pass through some things I've learned are: - get on the yelp waitlist ahead of time, even on a weekday. There will be a wait. - the bloody Mary's are good! I had the lemon fennel and enjoyed it. - the Salmon Benedict lacks the hollandaise sauce but makes up for it with a perfectly poached egg on a combo of bagel, cream cheese, salmon, green onion and capers! Definite win! - the Louisiana bowl is teaming with crawfish and scrumptious - the biscuits must be made by someone's grandmother in the kitchen! Really good meal. Social distancing with seating inside and out and staff w masks. Excellent service. We'll be back! read more

Run here. Now. This morning I had a lobster & Brie omelette. Freaking out of this world creamy and tasty. Pro tip: get the country potatoes and eat it with the beautiful filling. I dug in so quickly that I didn't take a picture! They also have a great drink selection with mimosas and bloodys...next time! We also got a half order of the beignets and while good, they weren't light and airy...I would skip and go right to the food!! I've eaten at 4 of these and absolutely love the food. We collect the mugs but come mainly for the food. The menu here is much like the others in Florida and so are the prices. Worst first time experience. I ordered the lobster omelette. First they took very long with the food then when I finally got my order there was a hair in it. The server took it away to replace it and brought back an omelette in less than 5 minutes. After an hour of eating it, started to throw up, fainted, got diarrhea because of the salmonella from the eggs being undercooked. Worst restaurant ever. Not worth it. read more

Wonderful breakfast/brunch place. I went there on a Saturday morning and the place was packed! We had at least a 30 minute wait (and that was first seat available inside or outside). This is the nearest Another Broken egg to me. I tried to give multiple chances to this place but with my recent visit, I have made a decision to never come back again. The food is good, and can make adjustments. But the 2 star rating is for the service. My recent experience there, the waitress rushed us when placing our order and didn't remember the little specific things we needed, like extra coffee cup or creamer. When I placed another order for waffles, she assumed it was to go so they can get the new customers to the table. Being understanding of how busy this location gets, I eat, pay, and leave. And with all the staff being the same people for years, I enjoy the familiar environment. However, it's either a waitress rushing us or a waitress being gone for a while when I'm trying to get the check and leave. read more

Haven't been here in a while, so I decided to stop in for some breakfast. My server was amazing he sold me on the key-lime pancakes that they have just added to their seasonal menu. One of the best breakfasts in NE Florida. Always a wait so get on the mobile waitlist. If not, sit at the bar (first come, first serve), if you can snag a spot. Portions are manageable, but you can add lots of different sides and add-ones. Servers are happy to help you get exactly what you want, with the most bang for your buck, and sharing is encouraged. I always go traditional with scrambled eggs, biscuit, cheese grits and bacon. The beignets are a must-order. Breakfast potatoes are cubed and seasoned perfectly. The candied bacon, on its own or in a cocktail, is everything. Our group has also devoured the lemon ricotta pancakes, the shrimp and grits and pretty much any of the egg dishes.
