We haven't been here in quite a while... My favorite waitress moved away. My sons were in town and we decided that we needed a delicious wholesome breakfast. I know that I can get a gluten-free meal that is safe - and I know the gluten eaters and the group can get anything they want It was rather empty on Monday morning - which makes complete sense. We ordered online and drove over to pickup our breakfast 12/22/24. This was our first time ordering from them. We should have just eaten inside the restaurant because then we could've had our food recooked and been happy. Instead, when we got back to our hotel (which was close by), we found that our food was overcooked and not very tasty. Dry ham, dry English muffin, and the beignets were not soft and the maple syrup was thrown in with the powdered sugar making a mess. I had to look at the "eggs benedict" to figure out how to fit the oversized ham onto the tiny dry English muffin and then try to keep the eggs from rolling off, and pour the thick sauce over it all. Oh well, you can't win them all. The restaurant itself inside was very nice and I would try this place again in the future. This could be a one off. read more

Hello all. For Mother's Day I took the Wife to Another Broken Egg sfor Mother's Day Brunch. So we had the Chicken And Waffle with the spicy syrup. OMG it was amazing. I was a regular here from when they opened until around 2022. We went every weekend and sometimes a few times during the week. The level of service declined so much that eventually we cut back to once or twice a month and now it's maybe a handful of times a year. We tried to order take out to surpass the lousy service but low and behold it's still an issue. Orders are wrong and portions are so small it's like they are actively trying to insult you. We ordered 2 bloody Mary's and a blackberry mule and they didn't come until right before our food arrived. The mule was good but a little sweeter than I prefer. For food, our kids shared the French toast sampler (French toast, eggs, and bacon). Adult meals: we got the southwest scrambler, classic eggs benedict, and the supreme omelet. My husband wasn't a huge fan of the eggs Benedict (gave it a 6/10) and said the ham was too thick and steaky. He prefers thinner Canadian bacon. The omelette had good flavor and my daughter even had quite a few bites and enjoyed it. The French toast was made perfectly and they ate the entire plate. when I first sat down in this restaurant, I was really annoyed because it seems very bougie and pretentious. The prices are high and they have a full bar, but the place closes at 2 PM. However, I persevered and ordered an omelette and was pleasantly surprised no I would save blown away by the quality of the ingredients that they used and the taste of the food. WOW!! We came to this location for the first time were so impressed! We'll start with the ambiance: You can choose to be seated inside or outside. We choose outside since we have a 2 year old and there was more space for him to run around. Both inside/outside were nice and clean! Service: The service was EXCELLENT! We were out running errands with my mother in law this morning and decided to pop into this restaurant for a late breakfast/early lunch. They provide plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating, so we sat outside. New patrons to the restaurant also receive complimentary bigness. They were delicious. I had the southwest chopped salad. My husband had the hashbrown Benedict, and my mother in law had the smoked salmon Benedict. Everyone loved their dishes. The menu has a lot of creative dishes. Service was good from Megan. Nothing but good things to say about this place. The cinnamon roll French toast was phenomenal and came with a side of eggs and bacon. It's quite literally 3 cinnamon rolls baked like French-toast and topped with cream cheese icing, rum butter sauce, berries and whipped cream. I'm salivating just thinking about it. The bacon that came with it was also perfectly crunchy and crispy. My friend ordered the pumpkin waffle and said it was great too, but she wished it was a bit crispier. My other friend ordered the veggie delight omelette and said it was awesome but to note there is goat cheese inside. The potatoes that it came with were yummy and super crunchy too. Came to Another Broken Egg Cafe this past weekend for breakfast/brunch during a family vacation. Being my first time here, the inside was clean and was well alive. We had a party of 12 and they were able to accommodate us very quickly when we got there (we did reserved ahead of time). The waitress and host were quick to respond with our orders and were nice. I got the Southwest Scrambler with country potatoes as my side. I liked how tortillas came with my plate as it allowed me to make mini soft tacos with the rest of the food. My husband and I aren't allowed to eat in restaurants per my husbands job restrictions at this time but that doesn't stop us from enjoying delicious meals from our favorite restaurants! I love omelets and anything with eggs! I was craving a large delicious breakfast and got that when I ordered the Supreme Omelet which has sausage, bacon, mushrooms and cheddar cheese. Great chain breakfast spot with covered outdoor seating in the Pablo Plaza strip mall in Jax Beach. The Benny is always delicious. Sometimes they have a lobster benny. They also have lighter options like the skinny omelet. Coffee is excellent. They even have beignets since they are a Louisiana based chain. They tend to be short staffed lately so be patient. I've given this place a couple of tries now considering that we live right around the corner but every time I am disappointed. We've been sitting for over an hour and so far we've had to send back two different meals. The first one was the traditional breakfast, we asked for overmedium and the eggs were practically raw and the second was the spinach scrambler which was never delivered. Instead they brought us the wrong dish, which I think was supposed to be a benedict. The food isn't bad by any means, but considering how long the wait is, and the lack of reliable/timely service I don't see us coming back. What an utter disappointment. Menu looked good but nothing was really worth writing home about with much positivity. Took my group of 4 - over 1.5 HOURS to be served our basic food. They brought the food finally and forgot our HALF order of beignets. So we reminded. 10 min later the manager comes by - oh did u still want them? If u do I won't charge u. Well I asked for them - AGAIN 10 min ago right?! So... yea... these took 30 min on their own to be brought - and they were hard and dense when they were brought. Bah. As for the food - shrimp Benny was ok - the velvety veloute was just some oniony watery stuff that melted the focaccia into nothing. The shrimp were ok, fruit side was very fresh. The fig pancakes barely had ANYTHING on them. So just pancakes and one cut strawberry. The best beignets I've ever had, and we order them pretty often because my husband is from New Orleans. These beignets are worth the trip all by themselves! I didn't care for the funky taste of the sausage at all. It has an over abundance of some herb, maybe sage. The biscuits and gravy were tasty, but the gravy was very, very thick, think clump, which is not the way I like it. The iced coffee was small and not what I expected for the price. We sat outside and had decent service, but I would probably go to Metro Diner, Einstein Bagel, or First Watch if given the choice. read more
