I ordered the Chicken and Waffles and a side of fried green tomatoes. I was having a hard time deciding and this was kind of a split difference. My boyfriend got the Chicken Fried Steak Benedict. He really enjoyed his benedict and grits. The chili honey was awesome with the chicken. It really needed it as the chicken was pretty plain. The waffle was decent, but not memorable. Went here for brunch over the weekend and it was pretty busy but got seated right away outside. I've been here before and all of their food is always tasty. However, I know not to be in a rush when I come because the food does take a while to come out. The service is a little slower than normal as well. I enjoy coming here and sitting outside. Everything about this visit was perfect! We sat outside with our dog, as we had traveled to Florida with him, and couldn't leave him anywhere. They brought him a bowl of water right away! Our meals and coffees were delicious!! They are Deneen mug stop, so I had to buy a gorgeous mug to bring home too, my only souvenir of this trip. At first I was nervous about it because I'm not normally a fan of brie. But it was surprisingly delicious inside the omelet with the Lobster meat on top of the omelet. The English muffin tasted good. Ruined Mother's Day. After scheduling ahead of time, we were shocked to find we had to wait 1.5 more hours. When we finally were seated, we were disappointed to see the menu and even more disappointed when the food arrived cold. The staff were rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. When we brought this up to the manager, she half-apologized and didn't offer us so much as a free cup of coffee or a coupon. They offer a variety of brunch and lunch options including their Crab Cake Benedict, Nellie's Chicken Sandwich, Lemon Goat Cheese Pancakes...just to name a few. If you're a first timer, they give your table a complimentary platter of beignets, which are delicious! They have a soft inside and crunchy crust; topped off with powdered sugar. Since this was probably our 20th time coming here, we didn't get beignets. This time around I ordered the Eggs Blackstone Benedict and my fiancé ordered the Nellie's Chicken Sandwich. The eggs benedict came with tomatoes, crumbled bacon and scallions with hollandaise on top of a perfectly cooked poached egg and English muffin. I had a choice of potatoes, grits or fruit as my side. I opted for the potatoes. They were under seasoned but still pretty good. Nellie's Chicken Sandwich was also served with the same side choices - my fiancé also got the potatoes. His Sandwich came with avocado and tomatoes on focaccia bread. My fiancé stated he loved everything about it except that the grilled chicken was in tender form and therefore a little messier to eat. I was unhappy with my cold brew because i wanted just cold brew but the first one i got was sweeten and the replacement i got already have milk in it. Like I have no control to my coffee? I had the blueberry lemon pancakes, good stuff, my only thing was that the pankcakes (2) are big but the cream was only on one of them, so by the time i got to the 2nd one, it was bland. While visiting Florida in July for the Fourth weekend , we came to this place and ordered take out to eat back in our hotel room. I ordered the lobster Brie omelet and had the waffles meal off the kids menu for my toddler. My omelet was fine but unfortunately my toddler meal was not. After already giving him half of the yogurt provided with his meal , I noticed it to be HIGHLY expired. The customer service was nice from the manager when I called in to tell them about it & they compensated us with another meal which was great. But only shortly after that , I realized the milk was then expired and was unable to go back to the store b/c we were heading back home out of state. Idk if because the restaurant was closed for a while prior to because of Covid-19 & they just hadn't checked their produce, but my son ended up getting sick after & throwing up milk chunks in the entire back seat of our car on the eight hour ride back home. So many options and a great place to visit if you're looking for large portion sizes (shareable) and something different taste wise! We actually discovered this chain in Charleston, SC, and then enjoyed it again in New Orleans before discovering we had one just to our north in Clearwater. Happy to report the quality is consistent! First of all, we were able to check in on our drive over using Yelp checklist, a feature I hope more places will utilize as time goes on! Now, I should mention that it is a bit loud in here, maybe a little louder than your average greasy spoon. Could just be the acoustics or how close the tables are to one another, but it's something to keep in mind. We started with two of their signature spiked cold brews - Mel went with Vanilla while I went with Pumpkin. Both have Rumchata, while the Pumpkin also features Captain Morgan Spiced Rum in addition to the coffee and pumpkin flavors. Both delicious, but I rate the Pumpkin a little higher because it didn't need any sweetener at all, while the Vanilla one was a lot better with a packet of Splenda added. For meals, Mel went with the Shrimp and Grits, while I tried their Smoked Salmon Benedict. No hollandaise with this benedict, which is actually a good thing - let the salmon and capers really carry the load as far as good flavor. That said, Mel won this round of brunch with her choice. Their low country broth gave terrific savoriness to the grits, the shrimp was fresh and plentiful, and the andouille sausage had a little kick. Our server told us this was her favorite dish on the menu and it didn't disappoint, which is good, considering the chain's Louisiana roots. Oh, and I have to mention the biscuit beignets! Served piping hot and covered in powdered sugar, they have some crunch on the outside but are marvelously soft and fluffy on the inside. Don't miss these - great take on a N'Orleans staple! The cold brew coffee is outstanding, the omelette was solid in size, quality, and ingredient (with a lot of unique options), and the rye toast was great! My biggest knock is the price. This is definitely not a cheap place to eat, with prices very similar to what you would find in NY (although, this was more expensive than most NY diners). I also wish they were open later. Their menu has a lot of variety, with some options being strange for breakfast and more dinnertime-esque. Overall, even with the price in mind, I would eat here over any other breakfast place in Florida (especially the surrounding area). read more

Stopped in here on a late Monday morning to grab breakfast and have a work meeting. I was a bad Yelper and forgot to take a picture but I ordered the Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese pancakes. The menu describes these at three cakes "filled with fresh blueberries and goat cheese, topped with lemon zest." The pancakes I received definitely had the blueberries and goat cheese in it but I would not say the word "filled". Plus I did not detect any lemon. The pancakes were very good though.
