British ambience and decor with a menu to match. The one negative comment is the Yelp photo that drew us in. I found this place using Yelp and the photos tantalized me. Last Sunday brunch of 2024 here at Annie's Cafe Temecula. Such a cool English vibe cafe. Ordered spinach, avocado and cheese omelette, French toast, eggs with sausage and all very good and nice portion size. Asked for crispy hash browns that came out well with sourdough toast. Customer service was great. Our server checked on us periodically and they even have dance and singing for birthdays. Fun environment. Will definitely return to try their other entrees. read more

What a pleasant surprise in Temecula. This diner takes me back to the 1950s and serves up all the food classics just the way you like it. They have a large menu with a bounty of delicious options that it was hard to choose. The portions are huge, the food came out minutes after I ordered, and they handled my check super fast. Husband and I wanted to give this breakfast spot a try. The food was adequate. My husband ordered the steak plate that came with eggs, hash browns, and side of toast. For the toast, my husband got a biscuit and it seems this place makes their own biscuits. It was slightly crispy on the outside and soft and buttery in the inside. I ordered the waffle combo plate. Some of the most amazing food we've ever had. Waitresses are always break section in the back we always get this tall blonde lady with a great personality! Cinnamon roll pancakes and the peach mimosas have had us coming back for years. Large menu with huge portions. My biscuit sandwich is was twice as big as i remember. All the pancakes and French toasts are literally desserts so fluffy and sweet great for a random Saturday brunch or as a special treat for any occasion. We went on Black Friday. It's a brunch place, they close at 3pm. The restaurant accommodated our family right away. There was 12 of us. The staff worked fast and were very polite and friendly. I got the green salad, it was a good portion for being a side salad. My family all enjoyed their breakfast and lunch. They said it was a good portion. It seems like their breakfast, burgers and their fish and chips are the best options. Women's restaurant is small but clean, there are two stalls. The restaurant is British, so the decor is super cute. You can purchase British souvenirs and snacks. There is a red phone booth outside for photo opportunities. My husband and I love our Annie's family! We've eaten there for nine years regularly and every time we walk in the friendly family staff is there to greet us. The staff is dedicated and make sure you have a great experience at each meal. The food is delicious! I love the avocado toast and the smaller breakfast specials. They also offer a steak and eggs special before 9:00 am each morning (delish!). The fish and chips is another favorite of mine which is as good as any British pub. Cute little diner. Staff is great and it looks like it's always got a good crowd, but we got seated fairly quickly. Women's bathroom is a little small and just has 2 stalls, so it can get a little cramped if it's busy. Parking is shared with others in the shopping center, but we found open spots easily. Their portions are large, so if you're not looking to eat a lot, sharing is most likely ideal. I went with someone who goes more than me, and was told everything she's tried was good. We shared a meal and it was pretty good. Next time I'll take a picture. I learned that if they find out it's your first time visiting, they announce it and give you a crown to wear. They also randomly have dance sets. Music became louder and two of the waitresses did a dance set in front of the bar. I'm guessing they'll do something for your birthday too. read more

I knew I had to place a to go order before I left for the Winston Churchill breakfast. So, I decided to place the order halfway through my meal. My Eggs Benedict were sitting in front of me about 7 minutes after I ordered. Yolks were runny, hollandaise sauce was breaking up and chunky, but the flavor was still good. Potatoes were crispy and delicious. They had all the necessary condiments on the table so that was nice. I placed my order and received my check. Came out to $40. I used a restaurant gift card and had no problem. I only had a big bill, so I asked if they could break it for me. I had no problem! Everything went so smoothly. This week's breakfast spot w the hubby was at Annie's Cafe in Temecula. Located off Jefferson St near Winchester. I always pass this everyday on my way to work but I've never been. The classic red teli booth outside is a nice touch. We usually go to Patsy's for breakfast on Saturdays bc we love the ambiance there but decided to try a different spot today. Annie's was packed but no wait for 1-2 people so we were immediately seated. We already knew what we wanted and opted for the 10 oz ribeye steak and eggs. I love that the plate came very appropriately portioned, meaning they didn't over do it w the hasbrowns. Most breakfast places we go to give you a small steak, eggs, and 60% of the plate is hashbrowns.... NOT ANNIE'S!! The 10 oz ribeye was nice and thick and was pretty big. Steak was cooked to my perfection and tasted like a quality steak. My over medium eggs were just right. I had english muffin to go w it. Coffee was good. Our server was Emily. She was very attentive and always checked on us to make sure we were good. Coffee frequently came around to make sure our cups were always full, I love that!! I left the place full but not stuffed bc the portions were just right. The steak was yummy and enjoyable. Definitely would get this again!! As a bonus, the servers gave us a little treat and danced... it reminded me of the dining room at Carnival cruises that I've been to, where the staff dances. Nice touch!! I really enjoyed that!! I am surprised this place has such good ratings. Immediately when you walk in you are greeted with the smell of sewage. The whole restaurant smells like a bathroom stall. Overall this was a lovely find. So very clearly a local favorite and completely bustling even late morning. Feels a bit cramped, but with the online waiting we didn't have to wait at all. The server was very efficient friendly and had a wonderful smile. All the food was good, felt like it was very solid good overall. DUDE!! I was not mentally prepared for my casual breakfast to come with such a show!!! The breakfast was true comfort food and it was delicious after a long day of wine tasting the day before. My favorite was the cinnamon French toast!, must try. YOU must order a milkshake, you will not be disappointed!! The restaurant plays "my milkshake" and Annie herself gets in front of everyone and dances with the milkshake. It was so fun to watch. Ok so the owner of this place is so energetic and fun, she'll wake you up. We came here for brunch and there are a multitude of vegetarian options. Cheerio! A fun Cafe for those who love all things British. I loved the murals on the walls and I loved the British trinkets for sale. I loved how they let us call in a reservation on a busy Saturday, and seated us immediately when we arrived. They were JAM PACKED for Saturday lunch, and we later learned that they were down 2 cooks, but they managed to serve us in a timely manner, with smiles on their faces. My favorite was the decaf coffee...very surprising good, fresh, and tasty! (Maybe it's also that the vanilla creamer was so smooth. And they were great with refills, despite being busy.) I had a turkey bacon sandwich on GLUTEN FREE BREAD with tomatoes on the side and no-extra-charge sweet potato fries. Hubby had chicken-fried steak and eggs. Although I was delighted for having the choice of GF bread, it did crumble quite a bit from the sauce on it. I loved that the turkey was thick, and real, but the price just seemed a tad high -- but I get it that eggs (and lots of things) are crazy right now.
