Never had a bad mealie anything at Annie's restaurant! Been going there since 06! The food and service is by far a great experience!

Scrumptious food, large portions, and fun staff that periodically does choreography dancing. We split the country fried steak, monte cristo, and the corned beef hash. All were wonderful, just depends what you're in the mood for. I really like the gravy they used for the country fried steak. The corned beef hash is the smaller cut up kind that I like too. The monte cristo was a little thick for me, both the batter and the shape, but the taste overall was really great, and the jam the provide to dip it in was delicious. -Soup of the day clam chowder was good as well -The owner is a bundle of joy and just makes the meal experience that much better read more

Good brunch place. They held a short live dance show for the guests the morning I went with my group. Very good service and environment. Generally crammed if your group if 6 or more in my opinion, or there will be a longer wait. Food generally is pretty good diner food. Was satisfied with the Chorizo and Eggs. Reasonably priced. read more

I had the Carnitas platter and it was excellent! My husband had chicken and waffles and said that was really good as well

This place was busy. Not sure what the hype was. I had a chorizo omelette that had a lot of Ortega chilies, but it didn't taste like chorizo. The biscuits and gravy were surprisingly delicious and so were the pancakes (nice and fluffy). The service was good. The interior was super hot...poor A/C could not keep up. The French toast looked good. read more

I am surprised this place has such good ratings. Immediately when you walk in you are greeted with the smell of sewage. The whole restaurant smells like a bathroom stall. If you can get past the smell the restaurant is decorated cute and has great music on. The food is mediocre. Staff was friendly. read more

I came here to try their fish n' chips, but they were out of fish. Fortunately, the other menu items made up for my disappointment. We decided on the country fried steak and Winston Churchill (a huge plate of food!). The warm coffee cake...wow...delicious! Their homemade hot chocolate was very rich in flavor. We ended our meal with an English Toffee Milkshake, which was perfect! I'll probably just call ahead the next time I want to have the fish n' chips. read more

Overall this was a lovely find. So very clearly a local favorite and completely bustling even late morning. Feels a bit cramped, but with the online waiting we didn't have to wait at all. The server was very efficient friendly and had a wonderful smile. All the food was good, felt like it was very solid good overall. The French toast was yummy as well and glad they did a combo with French toast bacon and eggs. I only had to deduct stars because of the state of the public restroom which was quite dirty. I know they have a rush so maybe they didn't get to it yet. I plan to try it again and update the review after a revisit read more

Super busy on Sunday around 11:00 do take advantage of their waitlist! Friendly service and a cute atmosphere. Free refills for regular coffee but the charge for each hot tea bag. Upcharge for onions and peppers in the home fries was well worth it. All of our food was hot and delicious. Blueberry pancakes had lots of fruit. read more

We received a giftcard for our wedding. So glad we found Annie's. Great service, very polite and tentative. Clean establishment and quick service. Great price for the portions. We shared everything. My favorite was the omelette, they chopped all the veggies so each bite has a good dose of peppers and onion. I added spinach and avocado and it was so delicious. Looking forward to going for lunch one day soon. read more

We came here after my procedure on Friday, February 17th at United Surgery Center in Murrieta. I was starving since I had to prep for my procedure, where I couldn't eat the day before the procedure or the day of prior to my procedure. When we arrived it was not crowded at all and we were seated right away. We forgot how extensive their menu is. Hubby settled on a BLT on toasted wheat with fries and I chose the tuna melt on cheese bread with potato salad with iced teas with lemon. Our server Mimi was very sweet, friendly, and attentive. She welcomed us back since we told her it's been years since we ate here. It's very clean, not too noisy, and we love the murals showcasing bucolic scenes, which harken you back to the English countryside. I was stationed at RAF Bentwaters, UK in the mid-80s and it's a great memory. The food was very good and filling! Mimi kept checking on us and gave me a tea to go. We will need to come back again so I can try the bangers and mash! read more

First we got on the online waitlist so that by the time we got there our table was ready! I love that option! The food was delicious and the servings were huge! Sometimes at cafe's like this their coffee is not great. I really liked Annie's coffee too. To top it off the servers danced twice during the meal to make it a really fun atmosphere! read more

Cheerio! A fun Cafe for those who love all things British. I loved the murals on the walls and I loved the British trinkets for sale. I loved how they let us call in a reservation on a busy Saturday, and seated us immediately when we arrived. They were JAM PACKED for Saturday lunch, and we later learned that they were down 2 cooks, but they managed to serve us in a timely manner, with smiles on their faces. My favorite was the decaf coffee...very surprising good, fresh, and tasty! (Maybe it's also that the vanilla creamer was so smooth. And they were great with refills, despite being busy.) I had a turkey bacon sandwich on GLUTEN FREE BREAD with tomatoes on the side and no-extra-charge sweet potato fries. Hubby had chicken-fried steak and eggs. Although I was delighted for having the choice of GF bread, it did crumble quite a bit from the sauce on it. I loved that the turkey was thick, and real, but the price just seemed a tad high -- but I get it that eggs (and lots of things) are crazy right now. Overall, very good and the decaf was BY FAR the best I've ever had at a restaurant. read more

This is my second visit to Annie's. I am fully aware of the rest of their menu, but their Early Bird Steak & Eggs special for 11.99 is really what pulled me in. I got great service from Mimi this time, and it was a really peaceful breakfast by myself. If you happen to sit up at the bar (I didn't sit there this time), they have a little peg board game to keep yourself entertained. In terms of the special, the steak came out fine. It came with eggs, your choice of potatoes, and a side of toast or other carb. Their spicy salsa had a great kick to it and the guys in the back add to the authenticity of the salsa. The coffee kept coming, and although I was enjoying some peaceful Sunday morning me-time, I knew my time was up after an hour and begrudgingly said goodbye to my coffee and my empty plate. Will definitely be giving this place some regular love! read more

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! I absolutely loved everything about it--from the delicious food to the incredible teamwork and energy of the staff. We came in for a late breakfast/early lunch, and the place was packed. Despite the rush, every single employee was working hard, not just for their own tables but for each other's as well. It was amazing to watch them move so seamlessly as a team. They've taken the phrase "teamwork makes the dream work" to a whole new level. At one point, the music got turned up and the servers broke out into a quick dance--most of the tables joined in, and it added such a fun, lighthearted touch to the experience. I even noticed a moment where a dish had to be tossed due to a mix-up, and I quietly mentioned it to my friend, concerned about the waste. Our server overheard and came over to explain the situation with such grace and attentiveness. It really stuck with me--she didn't have to say anything, but she took the time to acknowledge and ease my concern. The kitchen staff was cranking out food nonstop, and everything coming out looked incredible. The menu has something for everyone, and they even say that if you don't see what you're craving, they'll do their best to make it for you as long as they have the ingredients. That's real hospitality. My food was fantastic, and I left feeling so impressed--not just by the food, but by the atmosphere, the service, and the genuine positivity in the room. Great food. Great attitudes. Great energy. Whoever is running this place clearly knows what they're doing. I can't wait to come back! read more

Annie's is a wonderful, one of a kind experience. Food tastes homemade and the staff makes you feel like you're in your mama's kitchen.

I always pass through Jefferson and I always see this place it looks like a unique place to eat. I saw the reviews on Yelp and decided to try it. Food was not good at all. I got the chilaquiles the little green sauce that it had tasted like it's canned sauce. The metal taste was there. Beans were not good also probably canned the only thing I liked was the eggs , you can't go wrong with that. I Can season with salt . I just could not eat it. I also had the French toast I felt the bread didn't have enough of the egg batter it was bearly dipped in it they were not fluffy. Not for me. The server idk if she forgot about us before we ordered she told us she would be right back. Took her a while when we did order food was cold. read more

2022.07-04/MON_1145: So it was July 4th with the family and all we could think of was Annie's Cafe of Temecula! The family has been boasting about how great the food is and what a perfect chance to visit! This was our last day in town and they've been wanting us to try Annie's! First and for most, the decor was great. It has a wonderful British feel to it. There was a British phone booth sitting out front next to the bench under the umbrella. When you walk in, the ambiance is fantastic! The staff was also the best! Smiles for everyone and good times because their hospitality has that "you're at your local diner" chill vibe. It was a family outing so we had a large party. We were able to fit in there large boothes. What a great time! We started brunch with Mimosas. Some of us had breakfast and some of us got lunch! We love how they serve dinner and lunch for breakfast! The menu has a huge variety to choose from. It's excellent. We had their Omelettes, Sausage Biscuits and Gravy, the Dueces Wild, and even a Double Patty melt with fries! The Dueces Wild has two of everything - two eggs, two bacon, two links and two pancakes! Now, that's a mouthful! Comfort food at its best and coupled with the awesome staff, it's just a great place to be! Good music, good food and good times! We'll definitely be back! #anniescafe #temecula #mortimerthebear #cafe #rilakkuma read more

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast after reading reviews. We discovered that we had eaten here before (when it was a British restaurant). They still serve a proper British breakfast, as well as sell British items. Our waitress (Kirsty) was fantastic. Service and food were excellent. I ordered chicken fried steak, potatoes with onions, and poached eggs (which were cooked perfectly). My husband ordered the corned beef hash. Both portions were huge, and we had leftovers for the next day. As we were eating, suddenly the music got loud, and two of the waitresses performed a little dance routine. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. read more
