We're glad to have found Annie's Café, located on Jefferson, for a breakfast with the Fam this past Sunday, 10.16th. There was about a 20-minute wait but it sure was worthwhile. The seating outside was comfortable and was fascinated by a replica of a red telephone booth; a hallmark of Annie's diner. As we enter the place, I quickly noticed how busy this location was. All the tables were filled with customers with smiles on their faces enjoying their breakfast meal while collaborating. The staff was all accommodating and quite friendly. In particular, Anne, who seemed to be the head host was attentive and ensured we were seated accordingly. As I was wandering my eyes around, I noticed the artifacts affixed on the walls were mostly, if not, all in Scottish decor. Unique vanity posters were hanging all around. We ordered the following food items: - Corned Beef Hash: it came with two medium easy eggs, hashed brown, two wheat toasts and grits with bacon. - Double Whammy: it came with the same as the above only minus the corned beef and added a couple of chorizo sausages. - Oatmeal & chicken fingers with fries for the kiddos. The meals were all warm and tasty. We enjoyed every sip of the hot coffee while munching on our delicious breakfast. The best of them all was the singing and dancing performance by the staff. The atmosphere was so welcoming and warm. We will sure to stop by again soon. read more

Annie's is a staple in Temecula. It's always bustling for breakfast and lunch. The menu offers a great selection of food and options for most appetites. Expect a bit of a wait during busy hours, and parking can be tricky but it's worth it read more

Food is great. Service is excellent. The vibes are family friendly and so much fun. I have quickly become a regular customer.

We ordered the Corned Beef Hash and the Eggstravaganza, along with 2 specialty mimosas. Everything was exceptional, along with the service. Emily, our server, was super friendly and had great energy. I'm kicking myself over the fact that I haven't been eating here since its genesis. 10/10 read more

Food was good, large portions and coffee refills without asking :) Diner style with booth seating. Good size and good lighting. Our waitress Wendy greeted us, took our order and served our breakfast. She said to sit where we wanted. Early hours and opened at 7am. Seems like return customers since most people there already knew each other. Felt welcomed :) The waitress who brought check was also pleasant:) read more

We had a great dining experience at Annie's Cafe. Our server was Mimi and she was knowledgeable and quick with our drinks. I would like to commend the kitchen staff I had the Hawaiian Burger and it was served a perfect medium as I ordered it and the presentation was great. The cook took care to keep the lettuce and tomato and pineapple all neatly layered. My wife had the Monte Cristo and that was hot and delicious a great balance of sweet and savory. Mimi at one point had to leave to clean in the back of the house and she made sure to inform all her tables and let us all know who would be covering for her. The server covering for her ask all the table if we needed anything and explained Mimi was cleaning in the back. Great communication and team work. We were in on Saturday June 15th around 11:30 am read more

Good home cook food. Great staff. OSCAR is a great host always friendly and attentive to our needs.

Good food however, had I of seen the restroom before ordering I would have chose another place to eat. I have seen gas station bathrooms that are more clean. Filthy dirty and smells so bad you can smell it before even getting close to opening the door. The poor people eating at the nearby tables. Filthy floor and filthy toilets. Urine collected at the base of the toilet. I will not be going back to Annie's. I dread thinking of how the kitchen must look. read more

Probably the best music of 2000th played here. Makes it very back in time atmosphere where you forget all the issues of today. Server was very quick and always noticing if I need anything. I say service quality much higher than any other comparable places. Lastly food was very good. The omelette hit the right spot with the home fries. That's all you need to start your day. read more

We hadn't been back in months due to the poor quality of food. We decided to give it another try. I ordered my usual shrimp and avocado omelet with hash browns and English muffin. My husband had his usual too. My omelet was dry and seemed like they put very few shrimp in it and had very little cheese on top. I asked for the hash browns to be lightly cooked as I didn't want them overdone again. I flipped my hash browns over and sure enough they were almost burnt. Waitress brought me another order and they too, were overcooked. Didn't enjoy my food at all. Only thing I enjoyed was the English muffin. Husband said his food wasn't that great either. Annies is off our list for breakfast dining. read more

Great atmosphere. We are here last time we were in town and we're happy. This time a much different story. Coffee and iced latte good tasting. Eggs, omelets, and cubed potatoes were huge. That said, the chef forgot to season anything. You need to use some salt and pepper in order to enhance the other flavors. I never add salt at a restaurant yet I saw the others adding it and we agreed there was no flavor of any seasonings. What boring spuds as they could add onion at least. I guess I should have paid extra for some onions and peppers for flavor??? Really? Waitresses were great. French toast awesome. read more

Food was excellent. Service was a bit slow at first but then they all seemed to pitch in to support tables. Restaurant has old school vibe. Really cool. Overall great place to eat - plates are large so expect you may take some home! read more

What a great place to eat and visit. Food was exceptional along with the servers. Our waitress Paloma was fantastic especially when it came to choosing a "hat" for us. This is one of my favorite places for breakfast/brunch. Annie's is a quaint neighborhood diner with a British vibe. Annie, the owner is British. Annie checked on our table to see how we were enjoying our breakfast, she's lovely. When it is a customers birthday, the staff does a cute birthday/celebratory dance in honor of the birthday boy/girl. My daughter loved her strawberry and Nutella crepe. My breakfast platter was delicious and they made my hash browns extra crispy, just how I like and requested. We will be back! read more

Second time coming here. Atmosphere is very family friendly but a bit distracting. I don't understand the theme of the place based on the decor, but the distracting part was all the music and dancing. Cute, but sometimes the music is so loud that it totally cuts off your conversations. The food is good- typical diner food. I had to send back my waffle today because it was cold. Cold enough o wear the butter on top would not melt. Lastly, I think the coffee is too expensive. read more

Went for the 1st time today. The service was great. Emily was friendly and attentive. The food was tasty. My only issue was with the cinnamon roll pancakes. There was no cinnamon. It was 2 tasty regular pancakes with a sweet translucent sauce and 4 dollops of whipped cream on top. The sauce wasn't cinnamon. There were no cinnamon swirls and no cinnamon flecks anywhere. I asked our server if it was a mistake and she assured us it was the cinnamon roll pancakes. So that was a let down even though they were still yummy. I was excited about trying the biscuits since they said they were made in house but the were sliced in half and toasted. This doesn't allow you to experience a soft center. It was crunchy baked outside and crunchy toasted inside. Didn't like it. Otherwise, the Hawaiian French toast was good. The corned beef hash was good. Country fried steak was good. The staff broke out into a dance routine which was unexpected and cute. read more

Service 10/10. Food 2/10. So sad. This used to be our favorite place. No salt, pepper, or flavoring of any kind on any item we ate. And yes I know we can add salt and pepper at the table, but even after we did that....generously, and multiple separate times, the country potatoes still tasted just like boiled potatoes. Even the French toast had zero flavor. No vanilla, no cinnamon, and only the lightest dusting of powder sugar. For $18.99 a plate I expect/hope for better. read more

The food was delicious and the portions HUGE. Somer was very friendly and efficient. Every time we've been here we have had a most positive experience. Today was no different. This place is overrated. Nothing special. The manager waitress was talking way too much to every other table she went to. Loud and obnoxious. The music was horrible also. Overall would not go back go this place. Diners are a dying breed. read more

We've been going to Annie's for 12 years. The staff is great but the quality of food has gone down rapidly since being sold and the new owners clearly changed where they get ingredients. Eggs are bland, tasteless, and rubbery like McDonalds. Hashbrown's are burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. We've communicated several times to staff regarding the quality decline and each time staff omitted there have been changes such as ingredients. As a restaurant that focused on breakfast dishes and excelled at it you should have left it as it was. We won't be back to either location. "Don't fix it, if it isn't broken" read more

Staying in Temecula for the weekend and next morning on the hunt for a breakfast place. So many local but I'm picky so it wasn't that easy to find a simple breakfast place that mentioned anything about having FRUIT in the menu. We decided on Annie's Cafe as it was close by. Very, very happy with our decision. The menu was more extensive than I saw on the websites. Husband loved his Denver omelet and happy with the coffee. I had an Avocado toast, topped with fluffy scrambled eggs and a side of FRUIT! We had the sweetest, kindest server named Elise. I was extremely happy with my fabulous breakfast and cup of strong coffee. Highly recommend for breakfast. Atmosphere inside is a happy one. I believe because the servers are super kind and friendly. Hard to find this kind of pleasant service anymore, but at Annie's they exist!. read more

Food was good. Service was quick. Asked for half and half on the side and I think my iced americano was 3/4 half and half way too milky. Women's restroom was as bad as a truck spot bathroom. Annie's Cafe is breakfast with a twist! Annie's offers home style breakfast with song and dance on the side. Order a milkshake or have a birthday get ready for some fun! Shoutout to Emily our server for our party of twelve, she handled our order with ease and had our food out in no time. Food was great and fast service. Server was awesome and attentive. Will definitely recommend and stop by every chance I get.

This was my third visit to Annie's, and I have to say the service has only improved each and every time. The portions are huge, enough to share. And the coffee cake was the best I've ever had, and I consider myself a connoisseur. Try this place you're gonna love it. On a final note, Emily, the manager served us today, and she also served my husband and I when we went for our 24th wedding anniversary breakfast. She is amazing!
