Pork and shrimp vermicelli with an extra egg roll
    Christina D.

Food was good! Egg rolls are pricey but very tasty. Initially thought it wouldn't be a big meal but it was surprisingly a good amount. Would go back if needing a quick meal as the food was prepared very fast!

My partner and I stopped by Anh's Kitchen for a quick lunch on July 4th. It was our first time visiting the restaurant. The space was decorated with a clean, minimalist style, and the staff were welcoming. For our appetizer, we ordered the Shrimp Spring Rolls (two pieces for $8.50). They were delicious and made for a satisfying start to the meal. For my entrée, I chose the Grilled Shrimp Bowl ($16), which came with vermicelli noodles, lettuce, cucumber, carrots, peanuts, and fried shallots, plus a side of fish sauce. The ingredients were fresh, and I appreciated the subtle sweetness of the dish. However, the shrimp were overcooked and dry, which took away from the overall experience. My partner ordered the Pho Combo, which included beef, brisket, and meatballs, along with the usual sides of bean sprouts, basil, jalapeño, and lime. I didn't try it myself, but he's had pho all over Atlanta and said this one was among the better ones because it was flavorful and well-balanced. While the dishes were enjoyable, we're not sure if we would return. For the portion sizes, the prices felt a bit steep. That said, we're glad we had the chance to experience the restaurant at least once.

Food was great, service is quick and it's clean and quiet on the inside,no loud music.

This plate rocks! Pho is flavorful and authentic tasting, bahn mi tastes like the bread was made with rice flour like it's supposed to! Good southern style pho that hits the spot when you're hungover or just don't want to drive to Buford highway!

I'm so glad more Asian food has come to toco hills. I was staying nearby and was craving some Vietnamese food. The inside of the restaurant was very modern and sleek. Beautifully decorated and clean. I ordered a combination pho and a Thai tea through the kiosk. The staff was friendly and attentive, asking if I had any questions when I was ordering and if I needed anything else once I received my order. The Thai tea was delicious and not too sweet. One of my criteria for good pho is if I need to add any other condiments to it, but Anh's Kitchen's pho broth was so flavorful that I didn't touch the sriracha or hoisin. They gave me plenty of meat and a side of fresh herbs and vegetables. Everything I had was high quality. Overall, very impressed and would recommend others to come check it out!

So you'll be able to sample many different types of noodle/rice dishes as well as stir-frys. If you love boba tea, you'll be delighted to know they have a small to medium selection. We ordered Tonkotsu Ramen with Char Siu. I like the serving portion. Looked small but actually very filling. The noodles were sufficient. The broth was tasty but could do with less salt. The egg that came with the Ramen was hard-boiled, I wish it was soft-boiled (6-min egg) but it's ok. I loved the bean sprouts, green onions in there - lifted the dish. The Char Siu was seared to perfection. The other order we had was the Chinatown Lo Mein. Again, the serving looked small but was sufficient. Overall a little sweet, which is unusual as most Chinese noodles aren't made sweet. Thus this was a twist to the dish that I did not like. We also ordered 2 drinks: Yuzu Lemon with Strawberry Popping Boba & TDAK Dragon Fruit Fizz. Both were too sweet. I took both home and added more ice & water - 4 drinks for the price of 2! Yay! I wished I could request for 50% sweetness.

My score would be lower if that was the case. I've tried this restaurant a few times for lunch, and I've enjoyed it each time. They're always accommodating for about groups of 8 without a reservation for the most part, and the staff has always been really kind and patient. I've tried some of the raw fish items here, and they've tasted surprisingly fresh although I've definitely had better elsewhere (still pretty good for the price!). Recently, I tried their Thai Style Spicy Basil dish for the first time. It definitely could've been spicier, but it's probably made on the milder side for those that may not be able to handle their spice because this dish is typically spicy (I've made it in Thailand myself). I wish that some of the hot dishes could have more spices/ingredients added to have more of the explosion of flavor I'm used to from Thai dishes, but it's still fairly tasty.
