The pho is served in paper bowls with plastic utensils, which I didn't mind, and drinks are provided in to-go cups even when dining in. I ordered the shrimp egg rolls, filet mignon pho, and a tropical berry tea. The shrimp egg rolls had potential, but the shrimp didn't seem properly cleaned. The pho broth was decent, though the portion of meat was quite small, and I left still feeling hungry. I didn't plan on eating here when I stumbled across this pho spot, but it ended up being perfect for a rainy, chilly day. The restaurant was modern, clean, and spacious--bonus points for a bathroom that was spotless and smelled great. The lady at the front was friendly and attentive. I ordered the beef and brisket pho, which was flavorful and comforting. I added a little spice for extra kick. The real star of the show, though, was the passion fruit lemonade--absolutely delicious. I also tried the egg rolls; they were heavy on the veggies and just okay on their own, but the dipping sauce was fantastic. I was craving a bahn mi, so I decided to get delivery from a new spot, and unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. I ordered a char siu pork bahn mi, crab rangoons, and a pink berry lemonade, and I honestly wasn't impressed with anything. The bahn mi had a weird taste, and the bread tasted stale and old. The pork also didn't have much flavor at all. The pink berry lemonade was also super sweet, and I noticed that it had a fruit fly in it, so that turned me off of it. The space was decorated with a clean, minimalist style, and the staff were welcoming. For our appetizer, we ordered the Shrimp Spring Rolls (two pieces for $8.50). They were delicious and made for a satisfying start to the meal. For my entrée, I chose the Grilled Shrimp Bowl ($16), which came with vermicelli noodles, lettuce, cucumber, carrots, peanuts, and fried shallots, plus a side of fish sauce. The ingredients were fresh, and I appreciated the subtle sweetness of the dish. However, the shrimp were overcooked and dry, which took away from the overall experience. My partner ordered the Pho Combo, which included beef, brisket, and meatballs, along with the usual sides of bean sprouts, basil, jalapeño, and lime. I didn't try it myself, but he's had pho all over Atlanta and said this one was among the better ones because it was flavorful and well-balanced. While the dishes were enjoyable, we're not sure if we would return. For the portion sizes, the prices felt a bit steep. Came here for lunch with some colleagues as one of them said it was decent enough since we couldn't go to Buford Highway (too far). It's a small restaurant with about a dozen small tables. While conveniently close in Toco Hills, that's all it was (convenient). The servers were extremely nice and gave us paper menus to look at while we were waiting for others. We had different orders of pho, vermicelli, and a rice dish. We all agreed the broth didn't taste as good as other pho places we've been to. Liked that it was very easy to order online for pickup from their website and it was ready very quickly around 7 pm on a Thursday night. I had an egg roll and the shrimp garlic noodles. I wasn't particularly impressed by either. The latter couldn't hold a candle to Food Terminal and really just tasted like spaghetti, grease, and boiled shrimp. My bf had the vegetable egg rolls and a bahn mi sandwich. He liked the egg rolls but the sandwich wasn't nearly as good as the quality we've had on Buford highway. We did enjoy the passion fruit lemonade. All in all I think this was a 3 star experience but probably wouldn't return unless to maybe try the pho and only for convenience. I ordered a bunch of appetizers and a dessert to go. The service was great. The food was not . The two employees who helped me were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the excellent service couldn't detract from how bad the food was. The best thing I had was the eggplant and that was after doctoring it up and adding my own sauces and seasonings. Everything else was Bland and unimpressive. The biggest disappointment was the mango sticky rice which is one of my favorite desserts. There was absolutely no flavor to the rice and the mango was mushy and flavorless as well. I was really looking forward to adding this to my regular rotation as it's on my way home from work. My girlfriend and I just checked out Anhs Kitchen in Toco Hills. The interior is super cute modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed without feeling overdone. We went all in on drinks and tried the iced Vietnamese coffee, Thai tea, and Anh's passion fruit lemonade. The coffee was bold without being overly sweet, the Thai tea was spot-on, and the passion fruit lemonade super sweet but still really refreshing. You can't go wrong with any of them. We tried everything, the shrimp spring rolls were super fresh and wrapped just right. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were not traditional Philly meat, but thick spicy sausage, unexpected but still worth trying. The BBQ pork bánh mì? Absolutely fire. Haven't had one this good in years.. Sorry Q. Meat was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly toasted buns. And then, the star: the beef pho. Even before adding the usual sides like sprouts or basil, the broth held its own. Flavorful, rich, clean, and not greasy. Noodles were silky and cooked perfectly. You could taste the care in that bowl. Can't believe a spot this solid is in Toco Hills. Finally something closer to home than Buford Highway. I'm so glad more Asian food has come to toco hills. I was staying nearby and was craving some Vietnamese food. The inside of the restaurant was very modern and sleek. Beautifully decorated and clean. I ordered a combination pho and a Thai tea through the kiosk. The staff was friendly and attentive, asking if I had any questions when I was ordering and if I needed anything else once I received my order. The Thai tea was delicious and not too sweet. One of my criteria for good pho is if I need to add any other condiments to it, but Anh's Kitchen's pho broth was so flavorful that I didn't touch the sriracha or hoisin. They gave me plenty of meat and a side of fresh herbs and vegetables. Everything I had was high quality. Overall, very impressed and would recommend others to come check it out! read more

My wife and I had just eaten a great meal at Vietvana in Avondale last night, and we were looking for lunch at Toco Hills. We spotted Anh's kitchen and decided to have another go at Vietnamese cooking. We both ordered Yellow Curry with tofu to eat in the restaurant. It came in a disposable bowl with plastic utensils. The yellow gravy was not good, the tofu and veggies were cut into chunks and the whole mess was inedible. Even the rice was a sticky gooey ball. The music was blaring while we tried to eat. We left the half-eaten bowls and swore not to return. Had to review to help others. Maybe there is another dish that they do better but steer clear of the curry. Oh, and on top of all that, it was more expensive than the Vietvana meal. read more
