Been here a few times and I cant get enough of the burgers here. They usually have some specialty burgers on the menu that keeps me coming back for something new. Staff is always very friendly and food comes out fresh and hot. This time I visited their truck at a brewery and got to sit and eat outside. The husband and wife duo that run the truck are so kind and always serving up the goods with a smile. The food is served hot and fresh. Good grief are these things good. I wish Smashies were a thing when I was younger cause God knows my heart can't handle them consistently being an old man. What the ALC does to elevate these things is amazing. I've had multiple tastes of "this week's special" and also the original spicy over the past couple of years and honestly, sometimes I just get a craving and I look up where they are at. This past week I had the Miami Vice at Blackstack Brewing and I was treating my neighbor (he had the same) as it was his first time getting Angry. All he could do was laugh and say "I think this is the thickest slice of bacon I've ever had!" He loved his burger, as did I. So satisfying. The first time I ordered them was with only a single patty, with everything else that happens to these things, it needs that additional patty. The fries are tasty and service is always quick and friendly. This is a small operation, and they make the sauces for the fries, the toppings and everything else that go on these burgers. There is passion behind what they do and it's pretty cool. Cari P. sounds like a real piece of work. She's worried about their Social Media and calls them rude? Get a life princess and go to your island of 1 stars. All I really want to know is where they are going to be slinging these amazing things and if they are having mechanical issues or not (which is also a real issue for any food truck Entrepeneur) and can't make it. This is about the burger. Hell, a lot of times they run out before their scheduled serving time. These things are that good. Owner is rude. He has little regard for the folx spending $20 on a greasy cheese soaked burger. Angry is the right name for this business. I was at Blackstack and he berated my parter for touching the wrong bottle. Then he yelled at her "use your words." I returned the burger and he started to yell at me because she violated a health code. What about the fact that he has no hairnet and reuses gloves. He needs anger management classes and learn customer service. read more

Super surprised this page is so limited in reviews. This truck rocks and is ALWAYS busy! I've had samples of their burgers at events I've been to, but today was the first time catching the truck in the wild at a brewery. Went for the self named Angry Burger double patty. I'll call out, like other burger trucks, I found the patties a bit salty in certain spots, but overall really well seasoned. The burger overall had a wonderful building heat to it and if you string enough bites together, you'll feel some burn! Also had the fries which were perfectly crispy and seasoned and the quantity is spot on for two, maybe three. Overall, pricing matches the norm for a burger of this quality ($15 with cost of fries separate- $5), and is a must hit for any burger fan. Every Monday that I'm at Insight Brewing my first stop isn't for a drink, it's for Angry Line Cooks' burgers and fries. (Insight is always fantastic!) Each burger I've tried, across the dozen times I've had one, has been incredible!! The smash burger patties are always perfectly crispy on the edges and juicy in the middle, and each burger's sauces and toppings complement each other perfectly. The angry cook is also so kind, and very accommodating. He's very knowledgeable about gluten allergies and stocks GF buns (which he also toasts in a separate area!!). A GF bun is an only $1, which is the cheapest I've seen in the cities!! read more

This is a must try food truck. We ordered the angry burger and the other burger. The angry burger had a nice balance of spicy heat and flavor. It would be very spicy for a MN person, but people who like spicy will find this to be outrageously delicious. The other burger was not spicy, but still had a mouth watering flavor. The meat on both burgers was well seasoned and the perfect smash burger. The buns also had a nice texture and flavor. The fries were crispy on the outside, seasoned and soft on the inside. Thanks to Leah S. I'm starting to be on the lookout for food trucks. It's also a way I support local businesses. This was another FB discovery. They are in St. Paul often. I even called my son who lives in Highland Park to tell him to get over there when they were on Ford Pkwy. yesterday. This could be the best burger I've had and it's huge. I have settled on the other burger. I tried the angry burger because I had to. It was off the charts hot, and that's with eliminating 2 items. I love the owners and I usually arrive when they open. We follow this food truck very closely when we are looking to grab a burger. If you are in for some real spice, get their angry burger. "The other burger" is my go-to choice, and very possibly the number 1 burger in the Twin Cities. It is just the right level of rich, juicy, flavorful and the bun is even delicious instead of just being a vehicle for delivering the delights. Consuming this burger is the only time I've enjoyed pickles that were not regular dills. I don't know what they are, but they are the perfect pairing for this. And the cheese, the the aioli- it just all goes so well together. BTW, the pickles and cheese are "house made". Did I mention the fries? My favorites in the area, too. We tried ALC for the first time at a burger event recently and were super impressed with the product, quality, and service. When we were ordering the guy asked if we would rather order the kids burger for my 10 year old which is a bit smaller and cheaper than the burger we had intended on ordering- he definitely didn't have to do that and got a lot of respect from me for asking and making sure we knew. The other big positive for me was the fact they have a gf bun- it's a little dense but we actually brought our food home and I stuck mine in the microwave for like 15-20 seconds and the bun got a little steam and the texture softened right up and was absolutely amazing. I feel like if they had a way to steam the gf buns they'd be even better! The angry burger is so tasty and has enough of a kick that I didn't feel like it needed any more spice (I'm a big spice head) we definitely want to continue to support ALC and keep our fingers crossed they start to come out to our neck of the woods in the southern suburbs. My husband got a newer burger they rolled out that had some of the prettiest thick cut bacon I've ever seen and he said it was amazing on the burger. Love this place. Tried it for the first time a couple weeks ago didn't know if I could leave a review since it's a food truck but now that I can I'm here to say this place lives up to the hype. I got the angry burger and boy was it delicious. I'd go as far as saying this is the best non traditional burger I've ever had and a top 5 burger in Minnesota. If you like flavor you need to try it. While parlour, chips, saint dinette, petite leone etc... all have great burger none compare when it comes to flavor. If you haven't tried this place out I would definitely go ASAP. read more

More like Angry Grease Pocket. Upset tummies! I was very hungry & wasn't in the mood for spicy food (though I often am). They had 2 options- their spicy burger, and then a more general one. I ordered their other burger. Double patties,cheese, aioli, pickles. I have never once encountered a greasier burger- that didn't even taste good! The thing was litterally swimming in their aioli & cheese- which oddly tasted both similar & bland- just like plain grease. The cheese tasted like a very, very poor attempt at vegan American cheese- pasty. I went to a park nearby to eat this greasy burger and, tried to make it edible, but still- very unhappy stomach. Also, the fries were WAY over-seasoned. The execution on this thing was terrible- I just can't imagine who would eat this ensemble and think to themselves- yeah, that's a great burger! I love burgers, and digest them very well- unless it's a big grease pile. Patties were done nicely, but who could ever notice on this thing?! I immediately regretted eating that thing- was just very hungry, menstrating & needing beef. Next time, I'll take the 20 minute drive to Logan's!!! read more
