    candied lavender matcha
    Nicole D.

one of my favorites spots! I usually don't have issues parking. Sometimes they have gluten friendly options available for a quick snack but I normally get their matcha. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is usually SO busy with a long line.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love their whipped cream and am willing to wait. The staff is always so friendly. Candied lavender matcha was delish! I wish I could have this every day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love that it's kind of a surf shop, plant shop and device free environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute coffee shop close to the ocean beach walk.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We stopped there on a Sunday morning before walking along the beach. Great to grab some coffee beforehand. It gets busy but service was friendly and quick to make our drinks.

Quintessential SF experience. Nothing screams more SF than 65 degree weather, Ocean Beach, and iced lattes with the perfect dollop of whipped cream on top. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Immaculate vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You have to try it once. The snowy plover is worth a try! It's a little fizzy from the soda water, slightly sweet, and of course creamy. I always get the classic latte with the hat on top.

Sometimes the best places are hiding in plain sight. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This coffee house blends so well with the local environment that it took me a while to find the entrance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I came in with my pup a while ago and we had a great time![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We don't come here as often as we would like now that I'm so busy with work. Thank goodness that my fur child always remind me that I should live my best life and be in the present as much as possible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This coffee house is beautiful, love the beachy, laidback surfing aesthetics, it's by the beach, and has good coffee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Located on Great Hwy and near end of Cabrillo.

Ended up going here after walking around Golden State Park. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The coffee shop was spacious inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved that the location was close to the beach; it had great views and gave chill vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was nice and friendly. I ordered the Original Plover. The drink was refreshing. It tasted different at first, especially with the soda water, but once I mixed it, I fully enjoyed the drink. And the whipped cream was fire, I just wished they had added a bit more. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to Andytown Coffee Roasters. They had tech-free weekends, which I appreciated. They also had a few board games to play with friends.

Stopped in today to find there was NO LINE! So I couldn't resist. I got a matcha latte and ordered an iced latte for my friend. We both enjoyed that our drinks were not too sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was populated but not loud, and the vibes were welcoming and pleasant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the decor and the flags.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was quick and my matcha was beautiful. 10/10 will be back!

    latte with extra whip

My friends and I decided to drop by since we were planning on hiking Lands End and wanted to caffeinate! The line was pretty long that Saturday morning, but it moved relatively quickly. I ordered the Iced Latte and added extra whip. The latte wasn't too sweet which was perfect for me. The coffee wasn't acidic which I liked. I guess I expected more whipped cream, but it was still good. It was a good solid iced latte! One con about this place is how the lids are a bit difficult to put on. It wouldn't close properly, so I just use a straw to drink from the cup. There is very minimal parking in this area, so you may need to park and walk to this place. I lived near Ocean Beach, so the walk wasn't too long and I got my steps in! I love the fact that this shop is right next to Ocean Beach, so that I could do a quick coffee run and just walk along the beach for the day!

Drinks: 4.25 out of 5 Solid drinks especially with their snowy plover variations. Environment: 4 out of 5 [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small location acting as both small surf & cafe shop[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service: 5 out of 5

Slow down Andytown y'all are expanding too fast! Hope the overall quality doesn't take a big hit. I stuck with my usual snowy plover order. No real complaint there as that drink is usually solid. The cappuccino; however, was more expensive than what it's worth. It may do it for you in a pinch but that's about it. Outdoor patio is decent. You mostly see the parking lot though but the beach is visible.

Obsessed with their whipped cream. ( & I don't even like whipped cream which says a lot lolol ) [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is great especially on a sunny day close to the beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is always so nice!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute coffe shop along the beach with some surf merch and tables to chit chat at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Interesting policy for no tech weekends so they encourage you to socialize rather than work on computers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]No WiFi.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The matcha snow plover was a matcha tonic soda, and it wasn't quite to my taste. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Otherwise, it's got a great aesthetic inside and nice minimal outdoor seating[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Latte w a hat
    Renee L.

I went to get some morning coffee with some friends on the weekend. It wasn't super crowded surprisingly but there was a line. I ordered a latte with oat milk and got it w a hat (their homemade whip). This Andytown location also has a few games available for customers to play w friends. We spent some time playing checkers as we sipped on our lattes. The location of this store has a nice view outside and the decoration here is a beach/surf vibe.

Great coffee and an even better location right by Ocean Beach. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is super cute with chill surfer vibes and tons of plants everywhere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Perfect spot to hang out and read.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Just don't plan on getting work done here since there's no WiFi and lots of digital detox zones.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I just gave it 5 stars becuse everybody else has and I see no need to bring down the rating.) On the way back to our car from TJ Cafe, i noticed, through the window, that the wall of bottles was actually topped by a big sign saying non-alcholic! Having been a member of a non-drinking community since 1962, I was fascinated to see such display and dropped in to check it out We spent some 15 minutes with Josh, an ex-bar tender, explaining his philosophy on the social need for community life withoug depending on alcohol (See his Youtube channel: "Josh the non-Alcoholic" for more on this). Josh gave my wife a free cup of coffee since TJ Cafe down the road had no had free refills, and we entered a draw to win a bottle of non-Alcoholic French wine. Josh surprised us by telling us that the French wine industry is going big on non-alcoholic wines. I bought a can of Vanua Bliss - a Mango flavoured Kava drink - vastly different from the Kava served to me during my 3 years stay on Tanna, New Hebrides (1977 to 1980) which was made by youth chewing the kava in their mouths, spitting it out on to a coconut sheath, then pouring water into it and squeezing it into a half shell of a coconut and cerimoniously handing it to you under the shade of a huge Nambunga tree as the twilight deepened! Such are memories made of. While Kava is not alcoholic, it does have some muscle relaxant properties and give a weird buzz of the tongue. I wish him well in his endeavour to allow the teetotaler community to enjoy the social aspects of drinks with their meals, without worring about the alcohol destroying our brain cell and livers!

The young woman who served my cappuccino welcomed me with a warm smile and was genuinely friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I came in for a coffee and left excited to return. My Margherita pizza was a rectangular 8 piece gem, with vivid tomato flavors and ample cheese. The crust was equally delicious and suited the pizza just right.
