I ordered the usual Yonker's Deluxe any time I'm in the area for work. Don't be cheap and get the Yonkers Special. Spend the extra bucks and grab the delux. It's 100% worth it Ordering was quick and sandwiches came out timely as well. Small shop with minimal dining spots for a quick grub. Staff is friendly. Other than that I don't recommend the overrated chocolate strawberry dubai. It was a very disappointing experience. Had to toss it after a few bites. I don't understand the hype and it was pretty expensive. Just come here for the sandwiches and go across the street for devils teeth coffee. read more

This place is really hit or miss on sandwich quality depending on who makes your sandwich. On recent visits they would sub out different cheese or miss ingredients/omissions we requested added to our sandwiches. On a good day they're probably top 5 sandwiches in the sunset but last couple of visits I rather grab something from other spots. The tables should be wiped down more often and double wrapping your sandwiches is what most would consider industry standard. read more

I've been wanting to try this spot for a while, and overall it's a solid option if you're in the mood for an açaí bowl, coffee, or a quick sandwich. The location is great just a few blocks away from the beach. I ordered the Westside special sandwich and it was decent, but my order wasn't quite right. I had asked for no bacon and expected it to come with Monterey Jack cheese, but it came with American cheese instead. Not a dealbreaker, but a bit disappointing. As for the açaí bowls, I tried both the mango (unintentionally again order wasn't taken right) and the regular. The mango version was okay, but a little too sweet for my taste and leaned more toward an ice cream-like flavor. The regular açaí, though, was really good and definitely the standout. Service was a great and the staff were very friendly! Overall, I'd come back, especially for the classic açaí bowl, but would double-check my order next time. read more

Stumbled upon this spot I've always seen online and have been wanting to try but never looked into where in the city it was. Me and my friends tried the popular Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. It was absolutely delicious, although a bit on the pricey side at almost $20. The size is pretty big though, so definitely shareable. Small, no frills shop. Got the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. It was quite delicious and I especially loved the toasted kataifi on top which added a nice crunch. The price for it was pretty steep though coming at $18.75 for a cup. read more

Summer 2025: Dubai chocolate strawberry cup was hella good. Not too sweet and had lots of strawberries. Great to share between 2 people. Might be too much for 1. Placed an order for pickup on their website so mine didn't look as pretty as people that ordered there. Others looked like they got more strawberries, mine looked like it had more kataife. Still totally worth the $20 after tax. I'll be back! read more

I'd been here years ago... and had nothing but good things to say. That hasn't changed. Looks like they pivoted their business a bit and are capitalizing on the viral Dubai Chocolate Trend. Kudos to them! #ViralTrends: ~ DUBAI CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY CUP - 4.5/5 They use melted Belgium Chocolate... the big difference maker! Commonly regarded as the best Chocolate in the world... which explains the rich, creamy and chocolatey, yet not too sweet profile. It's a bit on the pricey side at slightly over $20 after tax, but well worth it. I wouldn't finish it myself, you are most definitely asking for an immense Blood Sugar spike. It's large enough to finish half in one sitting and enjoy the other half later. Packed with Strawberries, Kunafa and good amount of melted Chocolate. Don't get it to go, you'll feel short changed. Order it to enjoy on the spot and then ask for a lid. The presentation is even better as well. If this had more of a Pistacho taste it would be a full 5 ***** for me! read more

When anything on social media blows up, you always gotta wonder if its a hit or miss. Welcome Dubai chocolate. I'm not a baker so I wasn't gona make my own. I'm also not a hardcore "foodie" so I'm not going to put tooooo much effort and search for this item. But one day, after eating a full container of shabu meat for lunch, I needed something sweet to offset all that meat. Low and behold, I see Dubai chocolate cups at Yonkers. Sweet. I drive over and to my luck, no wait. Dubai Chocolate cups - the chocolate was rich and milky. The filling was silky but I didn't really taste the pistachio. The crispy knafeh was crispin alright. And the strawberries fresh. I googled the price of a bar of Dubai chocolate and holy smokes! I'm glad i just had to pay a portion for a taste of it here. Overall, would I pay $18 again for this treat, probably not. read more

We waited over 30 minutes for three drinks and they were not as expected. The iced chai was warm and the ice melted within a couple minutes. two caramel drinks had sticky caramel residue on the outside and one was not a full drink but had a ton of foam. Despite being open for over an hour and a half, they were still setting up condiments, bottled drinks were sitting on the ground by the fridge, and a worker walked in with groceries toward the end of our 30 min wait. Would not recommend. read more

4.5 STARS I know some may be sick and tired of hearing about Dubai chocolate. The trend is getting out of pocket to the point there's even Dubai chocolate perfume. Great way to attract chocolate addicts and big backs! As someone that usually doesn't care for chocolate, I've been weirdly obsessed with Dubai chocolate since it went viral last year. I've had some awful Dubai chocolate and Dubai chocolate inspired desserts where some businesses are only trying to monetize off this viral trend BUT... Yonkers Cafe's Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup ($18)? Loved it. It's currently on my Top 2 fav, after Hanna's Dubai Chocolate Bar (Pleasanton). Large perfectly ripen, juicy sweet strawberries smothered in sweet but not too sweet melted Belgium chocolate and thick, creamy pistachio cream with deliciously crunchy kataifi (toasted shredded phyllo dough). So deliciously satisfying. We shared a cup and contemplated getting another one. Yes, $18 ($23 after tax+tip) is kinda ridic for a cup of strawberries (it was $15 last month) but compared to ONE (yes "one") Elly Amai's Strawberry at Erewhon for $19, this is a steal and you're supporting a small local business. But.... We visited on a weekday and they weren't too busy yet our cup was missing the crushed pistachios and strawberry crown so I can't give 5 stars. Hope they work on serving customers a consistent product. P.S. - Order ahead via Yonkers Cafe's website to skip the line and long wait on the weekends! read more

Came here around 4:30pm on a Saturday and there was no line! We ordered the strawberries with Dubai chocolate for $18 (not including tip and tax) and it was tasty. It had crunchy bits on it too that added a nice texture. This was my second time trying Dubai chocolate and I wish it was more pistachio-y but maybe that's not how it's supposed to be? I definitely recommend sharing as it's very rich. My 2 friends and I shared one cup and were very satisfied afterwards. read more

This place is unclean, and the tables are filthy, including the kitchen. Regarding the desserts they serve, cleanliness also indicates how hygienic the staff are. Since I'm eating their food, I'm trying not to dwell on the employees' hygiene practices. It's unfortunate. Additionally, the desserts are quite expensive. read more

My boyfriend and I found out about Yonkers Cafe on TikTok since he was craving Dubai Chocolate. One thing we liked about it was the kataifi because it provided a satisfying crunch with every bite. One thing we think that could be improved were the strawberry since the pieces were too big and cutting it in half would be better. Other than that, I do recommend getting the Dubai Chocolate from here. Service was pretty fast, I believe it only took about 5 minutes to get my order and utensils/extra cup were available off to the side. read more

Friends recommended we go here after our disappointment of not being able to try the Dubai Chocolate Sundae at Ghirardelli because it sold out. I didn't expect to be as crowded as this. Long lines, long wait (more than an hour) just to get a cup of Dubai Chocolate covered strawberries. Sure felt like a Disneyland ride. It was actually good, but felt that $18/cup was steep. Gotta try it at least once. The store appeared small, I wasn't able to go inside due to the crowds. I am happy the folks are supporting this local business for their Dubai Chocolate creation. Came by to try the viral Dubai Chocolate-Covered Strawberries! I arrived with friends a little before lunch time and barely missed the long line that Yonkers has been recently known for. Service was pretty focused on chugging through the line that was starting to form behind us. After I paid $18 for the strawberry cup, we waited around 10 minutes before it was brought out. We snatched the bar seating by the window - the only other seating inside the cafe was a table (but there is outdoor seating). The strawberries are good. Decadent and rich in both the chocolate and pistachio cream, the crunchiness added to the overall texture as well. However, I have to admit it does become overwhelming after a few bites. The cup was split among me and my two other friends and we still couldn't finish the last couple of strawberries. It was great, but super rich. Overall, I think the strawberry cup was a try-once kind of thing. Great, but wouldn't make the trek all the way to the Outer Sunset just for it again. read more

Nestled in a neighborhood little hole in the wall cafe. Came here on a beautiful and sunny Saturday afternoon and it was packed solid. Parking is street but plentiful as it sits in a neighborhood as you just have to circle around. We came here for the Dubai chocolate covered strawberries and wanted to see how it holds up to the real Dubai chocolates as I have been to Dubai several times before. Seating is mainly outside but the have 2 tables and a small bar table inside. No bathrooms as it is a small cafe. It was pretty good but could not really taste the chocolate as it had shredded kataifi. Thought it was good, did not really justify the $18 as it advertised "Dubai" chocolate. This did not taste anything like chocolate from Dubai so I do not know why it is called "Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup"..... There is plenty to order from the menu however, we specifically came here for the strawberry chocolate. I would recommend this place but not a die hard must try. Service is fast and the establishment clean. Plenty of road and foot traffic. read more

This has been the lifeguards go to sandwich spot by the beach for years. Our most ordered sando is the Golden Gate and it's delicious. They stack it up big time- this usually last me one half for lunch and one half for dinner. Owners are awesome and from NY so they bring the true east coast deli vibe to the west coast. However, it moved fast (10-15 minutes til I could order), and my food came out fairly quickly (5 min for the latte, 10 min for the sandwich, the acai bowl a bit longer). I've never had the Dubai chocolate because it hasn't really appealed to me. But we saw a group of people at ocean beach with these cups and they said they were worth it. It was $18 pre tax for the strawberry one. But it was so delicious and like nothing I've ever tried before. The strawberries are huge and the crunchy stuff with the green cream is divine. I appreciate this small cafe taking on the dubai chocolate strawberry cup because I know the hype is real. They even extended their hours to accommodate for the influx of customers coming in for these strawberry cups. Got a mom and pop feel, there are some tables inside and some outside. I knew there was going to be a wait, but once I ordered it was a 30-45 minute wait. Yes I will wait because I wanted these strawberries! It can get crowded in there and most people there also ordered the same thing. Please give the staff grace and tip them! If it was simple enough, more places would offer this. While waiting I scanned the menu and things sounded so good. Gonna have to stop by for a sandwich soon. The cup was huge, I definitely could not have finished it on my own so I'm glad I shared. Usually, I rely on Apple Maps to decide on my next adventure. Fort Funston was the place! We drove for about an hour, then my man asked, "Where are we going to eat?" Oops, I didn't think about that part. So I looked at the map again for the nearest restaurant and found Yonker's Cafe. It's a small place but has a cool, positive vibe. Whether you want breakfast or a hot or cold sandwich, it can be created as you please. The blackboard menu has many options, and there are also many drinks to choose from. Two nice guys behind the counter helped us--one at the register and one who made our sandwiches. My man and I shared the Yonker's Special Sandwich with pastrami, gouda, and avocado. It was delicious. I love how fresh it was! My man ordered a Pumpkin Spice Latte for me, perfect for the cold weather. I enjoyed it a lot. The girls shared a Ham and Cheese Sandwich with lettuce and pickles on toasted French Sourdough. My daughter usually does not eat all her food, but this time she ate all her half. She loved it, and the girls rated it five stars. We're used to going to a grocery store to get sandwiches, but going to this cafe is a huge improvement! My man and I were admiring the items on the menu. I would love to try all of them. Oh man, I wish the owner would open this cafe in San Jose! This is a bit of a drive for us. Oh well. Hella good food for a pretty good value! I had to stop here to get the viral Dubai chocolate strawberry and banana cup! I love Dubai chocolate, what can I say. This place, however, had so much more than that! My friends and I stopped in to get a cup to share, and we all got sandwiches while we were at it! I got the Yonkers deluxe, DELICIOUS! Never had pesto and pastrami, and now that combination has become a regular for my sandwiches. Super fresh and tasty, and packed with ingredients which is nice! The strawberry banana cup was excellent. It was $18 and weighed over a pound. The three of us barely finished this treat. So much pistachio cream and melty chocolate! This review is for their Dubai Chocolate Strawberry cups: for someone who has a sweet tooth it hits if you are able to bring it home and mix the whole thing in a bowl but there are a couple ways to make it better! There's a mound of knafeh that's all on top, which I wish was sprinkled throughout the cup so you can enjoy the crunch with each bite, and just have a little mountain at the top. Since I had to eat mine on the go, I had to eat through all the knafeh before getting through the strawberries. Then the other thing is that they really douse the cup with soooo much chocolate syrup and pistachio cream, that you can see there's like 1/4 of the cup full of syrup left once you finish all the strawberries. Overall I'd give it a 3 out of 5. But it was good to try! read more

Super long wait for the dubai chocolate strawberry cup. It was pretty anticlimactic though... tasted exactly like how I thought it would. A must visit if you are craving for Dubai Chocolate cups. The strawberries are refreshing and sweet. Every cup is overflowing with goodness. We barely made a dent on our cups but we were already full and satisfied. Also love their acai bowls. I am a big fan (obsessed to say the least) of acai bowls at Sweet Citrus in Burlingame, but the acai bowls at Yonkers can compete. Theirs have an abundance of fruit toppings and their bases are just as delicious. While eating there, we can also smell the delicious aroma of the hot sandwiches they are making. There is a steady in and out of customers, with the line sometimes extending out the door. But the wait is not too bad. Their staff work fast and are very friendly. Will definitely go back (again and again!). read more

I absolutely love yonkers!!! The BEST dubai chocolate strawberry cup I've tried so far and I've tried many. The staff is also excellent. Super friendly and involved. I love that they serve pumpkin spice lattes year round too! At least i'm pretty sure because i've ordered one this summer from them. First 5 star review from me because it's absolutely worth it! read more

Yummy and perfect for a pitstop as you walk up and down ocean beach. Vanilla was added. They have the cups with the opening that doesn't have a lid or hole so just keep in mind that you may spill a bit. Bathroom was functioning. Nice and quick service. read more

I was wrong because it actually was a hard chocolate exterior with caramel filling inside. I'd skip on this because of the price and how difficult it was to eat--we only finished it because we paid so much for it. The strawberry cream cube was also different. It sort of reminded me of a croissant but had a different texture alongside a peppery aftertaste while being sweet pastry. While I liked the texture of it, I personally wasn't a fan of the sweet peppery flavor, but the others in my group liked it. We came on a Saturday afternoon and had to wait in a decent sized line to order our food. Even though the line looked long, it does move pretty quickly. Service was average. The store itself was very aesthetic and had some limited indoor seating. Overall, I'd say I left feeling a bit underwhelmed and I don't think I'd personally come back.

I do want to call out how much I appreciate the amount of savory pastries they have since I don't always want a sweet treat the moment I wake up. To note, Juniper is typically busy, but I have never waited in line for more than 10 minutes, even on weekends. They also have a lot of tables for seating, but because of the flow of people, it might be difficult to find a spot. Stop by here if you're around the area! They are also a sister shop of Saint Frank, so you can get some coffee while you're here as well.
