Love love love! This little food vendor is amazing. I love the curry, egg rolls, and the satay! But I have heard it is all good.

Exceptional Thai food. I had the red curry shrimp at the South Berkeley Farmer's Market and was in love.

Cold beers are available with a nice glass. I frequent this spot and love the yellow curry vegetarian style or the ginger vegetables with cashews. Served with jasmine rice, or a small up charge for brown rice. The background music is ambient, elevator jazz music, which at times is a bit annoying. But much better than classic rock blaring at you. A must if you end up in Berkeley for lunch, dinner, takeout or delivery! And I know you'll agree and thank me......

We tried the Restaurant Week sampler plates, which were such a fun way to explore a variety of dishes. Everything was incredibly fresh, vibrant, and tasty. My standouts were the papaya salad, green curry tofu, pad see ew, and pad thai! Every dish was flavorful with the perfect hint of spices. The drinks were refreshing and beautifully presented. We ended the night with mango sticky rice, which was so delicious - it had a crunchy topping sprinkled on top that added a really nice texture! Overall, this place exceeded expectations in every way. Delicious food, amazing service, and such a welcoming atmosphere. We will 100% be back!

But Rose La Moon saved the night, ending it on a good note. Rose La Moon isn't a fancy place and doesn't have live music (like that cheesy cheesy flatbread place), but when you arrive, the restaurant is clean. Ordering is on the monitor and once you place your order, if you are dining in, which is what we did, you seat yourself and wait for your food to arrive. Water is self-serve and you clean your own table after dining, which is totally fine with me. What I wanted tonight was good food and just a friendly face. We ordered: Hat Yai Fried Chicken - $11 Moo Tod with Jaew Sauce - $11 Laos Style Papaya Salad- $13 Nice Thai lady brought our food to our table when the fried chicken and fried pork jerky were ready. We started chowing down immediately. As we were halfway in, she came back to tell us that the papaya salad was going to come out in a few minutes - wonderful as this showed that they were attentive and also wanted to assure me that they didn't forget and that it's on its way. The fried chicken and moo tod were delicious! Just the right amount for the price. Chicken was juicy and crispy - although I didn't like the sweet and sour sauce that came with it; it was good but I prefer the sweet chili sauce with it instead. The pork jerky was also crispy and juicy and jaew sauce with it? Perfect! Then came the papaya salad. Now, most Thai places do not offer it Laos style and I do love that funk. Rose La Mokn definitely delivered. It was just the right amount of fermented funk (some places do make it way too funky) and was so good!!! Funky and a bunch of texture from the tomatoes to the strong beans to the papaya strips to the peanuts and also had some mixed greens in there. What a wonderful meal - all for under ~$35 before tax and tip! Great delicious food and great value! Thank you for making my night tonight, Rose La Moon!

I was here all the time in college, and I try to go back whenever I can. I genuinely dream about this place. My go to meal is the hokkien noodles with the Thai flavor and chicken. Sometimes, there might be a line, but they do a very good job at getting the food out quickly. It is a smaller restaurant ao seating can be limited ơn busier days, but that's bc it's so good, everyone's trying to go. I don't blame them.

I've always wanted to dine at Sistory for brunch, but coming in the evening, it wasn't too busy. There was a steady flow of customers and take-out orders. The restaurant is warm, cozy, and quaint. There are several tables for pairs or parties of four, plus some artwork displayed. There was only one server who was juggling customers, but we were well taken care of. My best friend and I shared Roti Dip, Pad Thai with Chicken, and Yellow Curry with Tofu. The roti was so flaky and warm! The Pad Thai tasted good and was typical of the ones I've had. The curry was robust and flavorful! Being mild, it was a bit spicier than we had anticipated. So if you have a low spice tolerance, keep that in mind! We also got Thai Tea, which was refreshing! Portion sizes were good, and we took our leftovers to go. Sistory Thai Kitchen is an addition to the Albany and North Berkeley area. I wouldn't mind coming back to try their brunch! They're located off San Pablo Ave. with street parking out front.
