My friend favorite place to eat Thai food. My order was chicken satay and drunken noodle. Chicken satay was tender not dry, added peanut sauce for extra yum. Drunken noodle was spicy but little salty. I added the vinegar to help. The fat noodle was good and not smoochy. My friends enjoyed their ordered. Service was good. Street parking.

A gem for food lovers! Such an amazing spot, with great food, friendly attentive staff, and warm / cozy ambiance. Truly a fantastic restaurant. Had dinner with friends (party of 6) and enjoyed it family style sharing all the plates. We loved the food and the dishes were delicious! Apps: Corn Fritters, Roti with Green Curry, Summer Rolls, Veggie Curry Puffs, Issan Sausage Mains: Pad Thai, Crab Curry, Sweet sole, Curry a Trios, Chicken Gar Pow Portions for mains are huge and can definitely be shared. Pad Thai had perfect balance of flavors with plump shrimp and a nice crunch from the beansprouts and peanuts. If you are unsure of what curry to get I would order the Trios because you get to try 3 different ones: Yellow, Green, and Red. Great ratio of meat to vegetables for the Gar Pow and the flavor was spot on. Sweet sole was absolutely delicious with a nice chuck of fish. It's fried but not greasy and was light, airy, and fresh. Crab Curry is spicy but worth the burn. You can see the chunks of crab and can 100% taste it too! Mixing it with the noodles, egg, and different veggie accompaniments, elevates it to a different and delightful level. If you are a crab lover I would highly recommend this dish!

Decided to go to Summer Summer Thai Eatery for lunch with two of my friends (three guys total). We got seated immediately, as the restaurant was empty around 11:45 a.m. We ordered at 11:50: * Sweet Sol with Brown Rice Lunch Special * Kao Soi Lunch Special * Pad Kee Mao (Medium Spicy) * Spicy Rib Eye Salad * Thai Iced Tea * Passion Fruit Tea (free refills!) Starting with the drinks, the passion fruit tea was a bit bitter at first. We asked for sugar, and they gave us some simple syrup to sweeten it, which made it quite good. I enjoyed the Thai tea, it had the perfect level of sweetness. Also, the paper straw (which I normally hate) held up the whole meal which I was pleasantly surprised by. The rib eye salad came out first at 12:05. The meat was tender and flavorful, though my Thai friend expected it to be a bit more sour. I thought it was good though... I don't like super sour food, and this tasted fine to me. The Kao Soi and Pad Kee Mao came out at 12:08, and the Sol followed a minute later. I would say the Kao Soi and Pad Kee Mao were average, not great, but not bad either. Pretty much what you'd expect from a standard Thai restaurant. However, the fried Sol really stood out. It's like a Japanese chicken katsu, but with fish inside. The outside was crunchy and flaky, while the inside was tender. The spicy-sweet chili sauce on top paired perfectly with the brown rice it was served with. If I were to come back alone, I'd order this dish again and be very happy. Overall, I liked this place and would return if I were in the area. The vibes were nice, the restaurant was spacious and clean, and the atmosphere was quiet enough to enjoy our meal in peace. It's a solid spot for a relaxed lunch with friends and a few standout dishes worth coming back for.

Great place for a casual thai lunch or dinner. We got the Pad Thai, Curry a Trois, and Summer Roll. It was really tasty and overall came out to around $65 after tip. Great service as well. Will be back!

This place is amazing! Definitely try their special curries. Last time we had their spicy duck curry and it was so delicious. The place is always clean and the service is excellent! The owners are very sweet and attentive to customers all the time. This is a great location for a date or a small party

Great Thai and was happy with my pad see ew. As usual I expect to eat it all and then I get full because the serving size deceives me. Spice level was great after talking to our server about spicy level he could do. They don't show spice levels on the menu but they will assist! I appreciated the server providing his own judgment. :) Thai tea and service was great too. Cute spot and seems like a nice neighborhood restaurant. May see people on dates or just a family enjoying a meal. Clean too. Watch the street parking. Some is paid and some is free depending on the time of day.

We were driving through on our way home from the San Francisco airport and decided to stop and grab a bite while waiting out traffic. We had never been to Summer Summertime Eatery before, but I'm so glad we gave it a try! My husband ordered the champagne margarita and loved it. He's not easily impressed, so that says a lot. We ordered a few classic dishes to share--Tuka soup, the sautéed chicken bar, and chicken thigh fried rice. The sautéed chicken was hands down the most tender and juicy chicken I've ever had. My husband really enjoyed the soup (again--he's picky), and the fried rice came out piping hot, super fresh, and packed with flavor. Highly recommend this spot. It's officially going on our saved list for next time we're in town!

Tofu Thai Fried Rice Dinner with spinach and broccoli added

By the time my train from Chicago got into emeryville, I was wiped. So I found the closest Thai place and ordered door dash. It was incredibly quick , arriving within 15 mins of ordering. I had the fried rice and was surprised that not only could I add tofu, but for $2 per topping, I could get veggies, which are so hard to get when traveling. So I added cooked spinach and broccoli. The flavor was excellent - and the added veggies were nicely cooked and blended well with the meal. After eating about half it, however, it seemed a little greasy and was hard to finish. So I recommend but just with a slight warning that it was greasier than I wanted.

Service 10/10 , nice vibe. I like the restaurant. The food is really good , yellow curry and papaya salad were my favorite items. They have good deals for bottle of wines that you can enjoy with dinner. I really recommend it

Unexpectedly surprised. I came here on Monday wvening enjoy some hot food with a hot person. First off, there were actually a good amount of people. I think they're probably understaffed since we had to wait to be seated and waited to a while to get our order in. They only had to servers for many people. I ordered the summer roll. The it really didn't taste like much, I'd skip it, would've been better if they had peanut sauce. Curry dumplings were good although I thought the dumplings tasted like ones you could get from Trader Joe's. The curry is what made it good. I was going to give this place 3 stars until we got the curries! The green and red curry were divine and completely makes up for the appetizers. The egg plant in the green curry is a dish a dish I can see myself ordering over and over again.

Drunken Noodle Roasted Duck. Pen cap found in food.

I order delivery from here at least once a month. The food is normally good and they accept special Instructions. The last delivery on April 10 had a pen cap in the Drunken Noodles. Sine the portions are large and we don't eat it all in one meal, the pen wasn't found until the next day when warming up leftovers. So we ate whatever grime was on the pen cap. I was really disappointed since the place is normally really good. It will take me a long time before I can order again.

The space is a little narrow in certain sections, but the decor gives it an authentic feel that sets it apart from those overly polished, generic spots. It feels like a place that actually respects the culture it's representing. We started with the Pad Brussels Sprouts, and honestly, that secret sauce and fried garlic combo is elite. Usually, sprouts are hit or miss, but these were savory, crisp, and gone in minutes. For the main, I locked in on the Khao Soi Short Rib over noodles. The meat was incredibly tender--no effort required--and the broth had that rich, deep flavor profile that you only get when a kitchen actually takes its time. The whole experience was smooth, and the food was top-tier without being pretentious. It's a solid, laid-back environment with authentic flavors that justify the visit every time. Definitely a five-star run.

I ended up going with their crispy papaya salad for my appetizer, the lamb shank curry, and ice cream for dessert. The crispy papaya salad was interesting since I had never had the dish prepared in that manner. It came with an excellent dipping sauce that provided some salt and acid to balance things out. The lamb curry was awesome! Hearty, meaty, with a flavorful and creamy base. The roti was also a great side which provided a nice buttery and fluffy touch to my main. My meal also came with coconut ice cream, but I passed that to my friends to avoid the dairy. I had a great time at Pintoh. Our servers were nice, the ambience and vibes were colorful and on point. Check them out if you're looking for some Thai food with a twist.

Some personal standouts are the kor moo yang (grilled pork jowl), grilled beef short rib, mok pa (steamed catfish), and the Lao-style papaya salad -- which is perfectly spicy and packed with flavor. Portions are generous and incredibly filling, and everything is so flavorful and delicious. Even when ordered for delivery, the food arrives fresh and holds up beautifully. This is our go-to Restaurant, this year for Thanksgiving & Christmas both. Friends who joined us were impressed with the food & were very interested to know the name & location of this restaurant. Now my In-Laws like to order Take Out more often, and they always want to order Thai food! It used to be they wanted Indian food, which we love but truly had not found satisfactory in the past. I'm so glad because Thai Taste Kitchen doesn't disappoint! They have been impeccable about marking the containers & even packaging meat vs vegetarian items in separate bags, and they allow specifics like "no shrimp paste" or whatever, more of "this" or none of "that". White Rice included free with entrees thst are not noodle or rice based, and if you prefer individual instead of family style, you can add an appetizer to each entree individually for about $5-$6, which is about the same as splitting an appetizer order in half, but sometimes people prefer a different appetizer. I like to avoid fried foods, for example, but others love egg rolls or fried chicken (was that an appetizer or an entree?) Thai Iced Tea comes in one size only, and it's small, but consider the calories. This is probably best in small size & I was thoroughly satisfied, I had not indulged for many, many years and it was so delicious. If possible, get it with no ice so it doesn't melt on the way to your destination, you can add your own ice once you get there. Tbh, I started drinking it immediately & finished it in about 10 min, since my husband was driving. Treat yourselves & I think you'll be really glad you found this place. One caveat, they are short staffed so keep that in mind if you eat in the restaurant, I believe only one person is serving tables and may also handle the register, so it may require patience. The beauty of Take Out is we can set out a buffet, everyone grabs a plate & chooses ehat they like, and we can reheat warm items in the microwave in about a minute, and it tastes it's best hot.
