I researched this spa and compared it to response time and other ratings online. I was 9 months pregnant when I went, so wanted a spa experience. I've been used to the medical massages through pregnancy and I just wanted a relaxing spa atmosphere. First off I was a bit worried about parking because I was told by a friend something about having a hard time parking. I guess this was the old spot because I parked right out front. I had Erika for my massage. She was great and although she can't go as intense as I wanted due to me being 9 months pregnant... she still gave a great massage and pressure that made my aches go away. I kind of wished they had a table for pregnant bellies but I felt just as relaxed with the pillows instead. That would be the only step up I would say that could happen. But I couldn't find any spas that had one on the island. Mailee, the owner did my facial. WOW I was so happy with this relaxing facial, not only that but my skin looks amazing! I walked into this spa hoping for the experience I wanted, I had a private room to leave my things, relax in a robe with soft lighting, lavendar aromatherapy and lotions to try.. it was my room the entire time which was nice to just leave my stuff out. That set the mood and it only got better from there. Quiet, peaceful and spa like! This is by far my best spa experience ever and I was lucky to have been pampered for a day! read more

A male friend of mine visited this salon while visiting family in Marco Island.. He had some time so he called and scheduled a massage and facial. During his facial, the female therapist kept commenting on how handsome he was and during his massage she actually offered him a "happy ending" massage for free which he refused. After he left there, the therapist began sending text messages to his phone. She has been harassing him for weeks now and still texts him after being asked to stop. Unfortunately he doesn't remember her name, and she is cryptic when she texts, only referring to herself as "stranger" but she has made it clear who she is. This is such inappropriate behavior, I hope the owner of the salon will take note. The woman is a small Asian woman in her 40's, which likely describes more than just one of the people who work there, and she also uses her feet when she massages by standing on the clients back. . Also, he said that the services he received were sub-par and he would never return again. This woman should be fired as her behavior is appalling. read more

This was my first time ever trying a back waxing. I'm an almost 40 year-old hairy father of four, happily married and did this for my wife to stop having to ignore my body hair for a while. Lisa was fabulous. She helped me calm down, and she was very artful in the way she worked so that it really did not hurt much at all. She did a great job. Apparently I had a wound on my back that she helped to take care of and recommended I get specific medical attention for. I was very grateful for the advice and her help tending to the wound. More importantly, as she worked, she talked to me about her practice philosophy of caring for the toenails of elderly customers as if they were her own parents, and I was greatly moved by her compassion and empathy. I wish the world had many more business owners and even just people who have Lisa's philosophy of caring for others like they would take care of family members. Despite being tucked away in a strip shopping center, this is definitely the place to go in Marco for spa treatments. As a man, I felt extremely comfortable there, getting both a massage and a pedicure. The massage was fantastic, and you really get the sense when you're there that they want to take great care of you. If you sign up for an hour massage, you get a full hour. Many spas seem to just want your money and then get you out of there as quickly as possible, but not here. The pedicure was equally excellent, and there was a thick GQ issue to mindlessly thumb through as I received my treatment. Don't expect ornate decorations or lavish slippers and robes. Clean, practical and economical, Mai Lee and her crew are professionals. Also, prices are totally reasonable. Highly recommended! read more

Went there today and had a great experience. I was unable to get a pedicure and wax before going on vacation so when I arrived to Marco I needed to find a place. They are open Sunday which is the first reason why I went there. It is a great local place- opened the doors early and took me as a walk in with no problem. I got the best pedicure I ever had- complete with a stone massage and great nails. I was next in line to get another service and got a quick back massage thrown in! A great wax and a perfect price made this place a win. From the clean salon, to the great massage chairs, and the personalized service...it was a win! I recommend it for anyone that needs a salon without spending a billion dollars in one of the hotels! Could not say enough good things! read more

I love this place! Very relaxing and laid back. Lisa is an artist with nail design and can create whatever you desire; just be sure to give yourself plenty of time. Lisa takes her time in order to give you quality nails. Most importantly, android is very sanitary. In addition to phenomenal nail design, Android offers amazing massages. My husband has Patty give him a full body massage, while I use Nam (not sure of spelling). Using skillful techniques, he is more than qualified to give massages and chiropractic techniques. Nam is not only a great masseuse, but a wonderful counselor who changed my professional life with his suggestions. My sisters and I scheduled a birthday spa day at Mai Lee's. It was the best time. They took time to give us the most personalised visit I have ever had at a spa. It's not a big fancy spa but is HUGE in service. They even decorated the spa for my sister's birthday. The pedicure was one of the BEST I've ever had. In MD I pay $35 for a basic pedi and MaiLee's is $35 for a hot stone massage pedi. We will definately be back next time I go to Marco Island. The hotels will send you to the "pricey" spas, but you must go to MaiLee's. In our party we got 4 pedi'd, 1 gel mani, 1 massage, 2 facials, 1 chair massage, 2 eyebrow wax. I received gift certificates for my teenage daughter and myself for manicures from Mailees. Not only were they the best manicures we ever received, Mailee is the sweetest person, displaying a "down home" personality. She really cares about the customer and goes above and beyond to make sure the manicure is done right. Prices are very competitive, especially for the exceptional quality of service. I then went back for a massage for back pain I've had for about 6 months. The massage I received was very relaxing and therapeutic, and no more back problems! My son had given me a gift certificate for this salon for Christmas. I went there today to have a gel fill and gel polish with Lisa. I'm always wary of going to a new salon without knowing someone who has been there before, but I have to say that I was more than pleasantly surprised. The shop was immaculate and Lisa is not only very good at what she does, but she's also a warm, lovely person. I felt welcomed and was treated like I was family. I'm a retired nail technician, so my standards are pretty high. I give Lisa an A+ for the job she did and I'll definitely be back again! read more

I have been going to Lisa's for 2 years, I get 1 to 2 massages a week , fortunately, I ve been extremely lucky to enjoy over 3000 massages during the last 40 years.. in 23 countries. This is the jewel of the island. I have followed the owner all over the island. Her facials are fantastic and no high pressure to add other treatments. Patti's massages have saved me trips to the chiropractor. Nails and pedicures are relaxing. They stand behind any problem, so if you have a problem go back and tell them. Sometimes nail polish just chips or an acrylic breaks so let them fix it for you. Mailee treats all of her customers great and relys on our referrals, I have never had a problem here and I have been her customer for over ten years. read more

I had a facial with Liza and it is absolutely the greatest facial I have ever experienced! It included a mini massage of neck and arms, the smell and music of the room where a great part of the relaxation experience. This will be our second year coming to Marco and this place is the best nail salon, I have had a ingrown nail for almost a year and I went to a doctor and they put me on antibiotics and said I would need surgery. I'm so lucky I came in to this salon Lisa was able to get my ingrown nail and I immediately felt relief. The staff is so sweet. They closed at 7 and still took us for our service at 6:30!
