Today, I went with an appointment for dip and basic pedicure. Honestly, the most professional and gentle experience that I have ever had. Pedicure done by Kitty - excellent! I requested a spa pedicure and needed polish removal. The older woman who did the service used a drill bit (for lack of a better term) to remove polish instead of the tedious acetone. She removed several layers of my nail which was painful and left my toenails in a weakened state. Please don't go to this place and suffer long term damage. read more

I got a full set 5 days ago and they are about ready for a fill already. i believe his name was charlie, he was at the booth right to the left in the front. he was slapping my hand if i moved the slightest, kept telling me to look away from the job he was doing (all i was trying to look at was if everything was going okay). he made me feel like i was being a burden by being there. everyone else was enjoying themselves and all the employees seemed very sweet, i would rather schedule with one of them next time. read more

I just left the salon after a very negative conversation with the owner I had an appointment today for both a pedicure and a manicure at two and 230, I called around 12 because I had something come up and I had to change it. The person who answered the phone was very nice and said fine we can do 230 and three. I said OK I can be there after I hung up with the phone conversation. I get 2 text messages that say your appointment is for 3 o'clock. So now I'm thinking the 230 must've been busy and they had to move me to 3 o'clock, so I didn't walk in until 10 of three and he started berating Me because I was late, I tried to show him the text messages stating 3 o'clock, 2 messages stating 3 o'clock and he refused to even look at them. He said that I needed to apologize! I said I can't believe this. I've been coming here for two years this is the text message I got, and you want me to apologize to you, I said, do you want me to leave? He said yes you can leave so I'm also a little suspicious of them because they want cash now or they're charging you more if you use your card and he's got a wad of cash on him. By the way, there was nobody there as far as customers were concerned, and I know the two people that I was going to see could use the money. And he just chooses to shut everything down, I will never go there again, and I certainly will tell people about my encounter with the owner and his rudeness. Unfortunately, a bad pedicure experience here. First off the AC was broken but I didn't even realize it until it was too late. July in SW Florida is not a time to have your AC break and still serve your customers in a "spa." The man who did the pedicure barely scrubbed my feet and when he massaged my legs with lotion he just put the hot towel over my legs and left it like that. He didn't wipe the lotion off or anything and left lotion all on my legs. It was my first time here but when I get pedicures they scrub my toes and heels and he barely did my heels and did not scrub anywhere else. It was poor service, not sure if they always do this terrible of a job or if it's always like this. I pay $25 almost everywhere else and they do 100% better. It's $28 here and not even worth $10. I could have done a better job and will have to when I get home. Save your time and money on this place. read more

I have been coming to this salon for at least a year. Recently when I went I saw white under both my big toe nails. I asked the person doing my nails what that was. She totally ignored me and continued to speak to the worker next to her in another language and they both started laughing. After awhile a very elderly man came in. God bless him. His nails were very twisted and had a lot of black on them. When the gentleman left, they did not clean the basin with anything other than the towel they had used on his feet. I now have 2 big toe nails that need to be removed. They are very sore and cause a lot of pain. This place has gone down very quickly. I don't think they care about the clients at all. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else that cares more about cleanliness. read more

Let me first say I have been going to Europa nails for several years not exclusively but none the less. I went in and the owner waited on me. I asked how much it would cost to have acrylics removed and new tips put back on plus gel on top. He quoted me $60.00 which seemed a little high but I was having a lot done. In the process of having my acrylics removed I asked my manicurist if he thought I could just do gel and not have acrylics. He agreed it would be a good idea so we just went with gel nails. When I went up to the front register to pay I told the owner that I didn't do tips. I know from experience it is usually $40-45. The owner insisted I still owed $60. I tried again explaining that is when he went into his mode of oh no if you were having tips it would have been more. The odd thing is when he first told me the price I repeated it back to him with removal and replace tips and gel. Also there was another customer sitting near by and she also repeated back to him so there wouldn't be any misunderstanding. I was not happy but paid it and when I got home called several salons to check the prices. Sure enough the owner ripped me off. I am not going back. read more

Horrible pedicure!!!! The girl didn't clean my cuticle from my feet and the color the way she applied it on my feet just horrible and I mentioned to her and she gave me the color and told me to do it myself. She started talking and her language to the other coworkers and that was just enough she said my toe was the problem! My toe nails are perfect she just didn't do the right thing. I am a a pedicure tech and this girl don't have an idea what a real pedicure is. Sorry do not go there! read more

Well, I'm sad to report this, but it needs to be said as a warning to others. I am a seasonal, snow-bird regular of Utopia Nails in Naples, Florida. I have gotten many mani/pedis, and over the years I was happy with them. However, this year, I suffered a toenail fungus and bacterial infection in my big toe. There is no other cause of this other than I got the infection at Utopia. I asked before I left Naples, during my last pedicure, if the white spot on my nail, near the cuticle, I saw as the technician removed polish and buffed it a bit, would be a concern. He said nothing at that time, but repolished it. I started to feel pain in that toe about two weeks later, the white spots crumbled, half of my nail was lifted from my nail bed, the rest of my nail turned into shades of yellow. It throbbed, so I've been soaking it in antifungal baths, applying antifungal creams and other home remedies for weeks. I got the infection under control, but am unable to save the nail. This is month three, and I don't think I'll have a new, healthy nail for at least a year from now. So, my future has to be pedicure free, probably forever. I blame Utopia Nails, as there were not using basin liners, they nicked my cuticle once or twice, they do not wear rubber gloves, they rarely wash their hands after each client, they did not warn me of nail issues or problems they surely saw, and their total salon cleanliness was not pristine. Sorry to report this, but my toenail was destroyed there. read more

I went to get my nails done here for the very first time. The counters were dirty with nail clippings from a previous customer. My nails turned out horrible, after paying $35 for a gel manicure. The polish is all over my fingers surrounding the nail. They suck ass. read more
