After finally getting "new construction" windows installed, we decided to go with larger 4 1/2" shutters. We were so nervous because not many people get that size, but we decided to go for it and boy do we love them! Everyone that comes over says our home has a "beachy vibe" with the large shutters. They look so nice with our painless windows! We only had one issue with the 2018 shutters in the bathroom rusting. ISD said to order the waterproof replacement would run us $650 for a small window but that seems a bit too much. ISD brought a new rustless magnet and made it look a lot better. Overall we are very happy with the way the new large shutters turned out, and happy with how the older 3 1/2" held up in the bedroom.

Brett promised the world during the sales process, but once the contract was signed, the follow-through completely disappeared. After that, everything was handed off to Casey and communication went downhill fast. Weekend availability is terrible. I purchased the shutters in November, and installation didn't happen until months later. Brett measured my windows twice, then a younger employee came out and measured again. When the third-party installers finally showed up, they had the wrong measurements. How does that even happen after three separate visits? On top of that, Casey was extremely rude and condescending. She also kept my credit card on file without my permission, which is completely unacceptable. The level of unprofessionalism throughout this entire process was through the roof. Also, the first photo shown on this so-called business profile (the one with the curtains) apparently doesn't even belong to them...or at least that's the impression I got when I asked Brett about it. After all the inconvenience, delays, and frustration, I honestly expected some type of discount or acknowledgment of the issues. Unfortunately, that never happened. Very disappointing experience.
