Wow! Amazing service and such a reasonable price! I was referred to Eric by a friend, I called, he responded right away! Within the week he had Johnny come out to look at what I wanted. He brought out all of his samples, and he helped me decide on the final color of roller shades. He took the measurements , I have 3 big sliders where the sun beats in to the room. I've been living with temporary window coverings made of paper for 6 months now and finally felt it was time to buy something more durable. We loved the light filtering appeal of the paper shades, so we looked at options online first, but I lacked the confidence in ordering the right measurements. It was too overwhelming with the number of windows I wanted, so I hopped on Yelp to help me find someone. Eric & Johnny are an absolute pleasure to work with! They won me over based on price, workmanship and transparency/honesty. They were upfront about their products/process, explained the importance of visual appeal on which side the cords should hang based on window placement and maintained a high standard of workmanship. The first appointment was an in-home consultation. I met with Johnny to walk him through our home and identified the windows that needed measurement. While he measured the windows, I looked at all shade swatches and narrowed it down to two options of white, light filtering shades. Before committing to the quote, we wanted to add three more windows to the estimate. Eric made his way over this time to get those measured and drafted up the quote with the final swatch I picked. I put down my 10% deposit that day. Eric informed me that they will reach out in 4-6 weeks when the shades are ready to be installed. Since they build everything offsite, installation takes about 1-2 hours, so it won't take up too much time. In total, I had 20 windows covered with a white valence that matched our window trims. Seven of those are motorized on a 5-channel remote. The battery life on the Somfy motorized shades can last up to 6 months to 1 year pending usage, but it comes with a charger whenever it needs a boost. I highly recommend this company for installing our window shutters (whole house). Eric is the owner and there's no other salesman invloved which is perfect. He really sells his product on his own and explained in full detail the differences of the types of shutters. Straight to the point. He was the first one to show me the different products he sells not only the exterior part of shutters but the interior part as well. The price is also reasonable compared to other companies that I talked to. He only asked for a very minimal amount for deposit and the rest of the payment was after the shutters were installed. Having remodeled, restored and upgraded about 95% of our house, it was time for window treatments. After getting about 6 quotes from some of the top rated business's in Orange County (so we were told) when it comes to window treatments, the decision for us was easy....EJ's was tops for both my wife and myself. Eric (owner) from the start was excellent, he was prompt, knowledgeable, and super friendly. EJ's was the final company we called on for quote. Halfway through him being in our home talking about our options etc. one thing that stood out (especially for my wife), was his honesty when answering questions that she had, as well as giving his reasoning for why this was his opinion. It seemed like the other companies that came by would give what they pretty much assumed is what we wanted to hear. When we asked Eric about certain things, he would reply along the lines of "that's probably not the best thing for this room, and here is why" and once explaining it, it made perfect sense. He gave reasons we didn't even think about, and some of the reasons we would have been disappointed once the job was done. This let us know that he not only has product knowledge, he has an eye and experience on what works for how our place is set up or decorated already. He didn't just tell us what we wanted to hear. We ordered light filtering roller shades for the kitchen, dinning room and living room slider. Then for all the rooms we order shutters. I believe it took like 6 weeks or so, which was perfect because we removed some window casings to better accommodate the shutters. Once all the window treatments arrived, we set up an appointment for installation. On installation day his lead installer showed up (sadly I can't remember his name) but he was super friendly, polite and trustworthy. He has been with Eric for years which says a lot for both of them. The blinds and shutters came out far greater than we ever expected. We were blown away at how awesome everything came out. The install took about half a day or so for 11 windows. We are so happy with everything. The quality was exceptional, the price was very competitive, and the service was stellar.
