Service: The restaurant had surprisingly few customers so the waitstaff was lightning quick and helpful. Based on the amazing food and the good service this is now my go to breakfast place. The decor, a mix of Art Deco, modern and 'ole American Diner, was just right for the visit. Even an old jukebox from the 1970s. Hope they repair it, because it rocks. Gaslight's aim is to offer breakfasts and lunches and it does a darn good job. Gaslight occupies the footprint of a previous food venue which itself was once another eatery. The new concept is quaint, cozy, light, and best of all, great food. We had a charming waitress who handled 12 hungry guys with admirable efficiency and courtesy. I didn't have breakfast on purpose as I saw the reviews and wanted to be able to have a good brunch. The Californian was my choice, an eclectic omelet with Smashed Avocado, Diced Tomatoes, Baby Spinach, and Sriracha. Superb! Not too hot, not too bland - just wonderfully right. I had to get more bread to accompany it. Meanwhile, coffee flowed nonstop. I did try a local brew which was also great. Can't get any better service and quality food for a brunch.

Thank you for making our experience out a pleasure. We will definitely be back. PS Thank you owner Mr Ray for all you do. I would like some Old Man items in your gift shops. Maybe the profits could go for the local food pantry who are having hard times now.

I ordered "The Cadillac" breakfast that consisted of 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, sausage, bacon, homefries, and toast. I asked if I could sub in corned beef hash instead of the two meats. I was told I'd have to buy a side of hash. I agreed and told them to hold the bacon and sausage. The eggs, over easy, were quite small snd dwarfed by everything else on the plate. There was little yolk. The home fries tasted as if they'd been on the grill for quite a while. The pancakes were rubbery, as it took effort getting a knife through them. The hash that cost extra, tasted like it came out of a can. On the positive side our server was terrific and I loved and appreciated the "golden oldies" rock 'n roll music. These two points earned them the 2nd star. But unfortunately it was not enough to offset the very disappointing breakfast.

But the best reason to come to the Roundabout is for the bartender Amy. Not only is she the best bartender in the place, but she crafts cocktails that are unique and well balanced. I heard another bartender makes a pickle martini but she can't hold a candle to Amy! Amy also serves and her service is beyond reproach. When you come to visit either sit at the bar during one of her shifts or ask for her section. You won't be disappointed!!

The coffee is quite strong! No refills were offered. They have a couple pages of breakfast items, served all day, plus a couple more pages of lunch/dinner and a page of drinks. They have a full bar. We ordered a hot cornedbeef sandwich, a two egg breakfast and a side of cornedbeef hash. None of the dishes were noteworthy. The hash was 'crispy' black. We popped a mint to get the taste out of our mouth after we ate so, that was our experience with the food here. Our waitress kept a good eye on us and brought a second dish of hash when I mentioned it was over cooked. The second one had the crispy black bits scraped off, so that must be how they cook it. She tried and I appreciate that. Ask for jelly if you want that on your toast, that is not kept on the table. It's a very cute, touristy spot to visit. There is a credit card surcharge. Restrooms are older with upgrades and clean. Staff are very nice. Parking is shared with the hotel and may be difficult to find a spot.

We were there for the promise of a fantastic breakfast. The menu is manageable, lots of choices~all pitstop themed~ but not so many that it was a chore to choose. I decided on a 3 egg swiss and mushroom omelette. It was explained that toast was extra, which isn't the norm, at least in my experience. But I dove in and ordered Rye. My Son ordered 2eggs over easy, the potatoes (not the deep fried version), bacon, ham, sausage and 2 pancakes. This breakfast seemed to include a toast option, for those who are keeping score. The food was spectacular. Very well done, simply, and with no frills save for a killer playlist that included Bittersweet Symphony. You don't often find yourself sitting at a counter, eating breakfast with special toast and hear The Verve. Worth a mention. The service was crisp, thorough and we did get a lovely smile and thank you as we checked out. But at the end of it all, the food is, or should be the star. And it was.
