On the Tuesday morning after Labor Day we brought my adult daughter with us to Randy's PitStop Diner (she had not been before). We got the same great service as if they hadn't just had a busy holiday weekend, except they were out if chorizo. We don't eat chorizo anyway, so no matter. I tried something new, the ham, turkey, and cheese sandwich on french toast! Yum!! My daughter got the same and enjoyed it too. We especially loved the deep fried potatoes. On our way back to Hampton after a Gunstock weekend, I stopped at Randy's with my son. The waitperson was very matter of fact, but that's fine. We were there for the promise of a fantastic breakfast. The menu is manageable, lots of choices~all pitstop themed~ but not so many that it was a chore to choose. I decided on a 3 egg swiss and mushroom omelette. It was explained that toast was extra, which isn't the norm, at least in my experience. But I dove in and ordered Rye. My Son ordered 2eggs over easy, the potatoes (not the deep fried version), bacon, ham, sausage and 2 pancakes. This breakfast seemed to include a toast option, for those who are keeping score. The food was spectacular. Very well done, simply, and with no frills save for a killer playlist that included Bittersweet Symphony. You don't often find yourself sitting at a counter, eating breakfast with special toast and hear The Verve. Worth a mention. The service was crisp, thorough and we did get a lovely smile and thank you as we checked out. But at the end of it all, the food is, or should be the star. And it was. read more

Positively inedible. I ordered steak and eggs (cooked medium and over well, respectively). The eggs were almost raw while the steak was as tender as a steel toe work boot. It came with toast which was deep fried and literally dripping with dark brown grease from the griddle. On a positive note, the coffee was fine and only two of the blueberries in my fruit cup were rotten. I finished the fruit, paid my tab, and walked out with everything else untouched. We recently stopped in at Randy's Pit Stop Diner in Laconia for breakfast. Randy's recently opened and want to try it out. The diner serves up breakfast and lunch- eggs, omlettes, sandwiches, roast beef and more. The homemade corned beef hash is amazing and my dropped eggs were cooked perfectly. The rye toast was nice and thick and of good quality. Service was awesome and we wish the owners the best of luck with their new restaurant. read more

Can't visit the Greater Meredith NH area without eating at Randy's Pit Stop Diner. Best breakfast around. Pancakes aka Hub Caps were top notch as were our eggs , toast , bacon , grilled potatoes. Lovely service , love the theme. read more

Stopped in on 4th of July for breakfast. They were super busy and now we know why! With only one impressive chef we waited a bit for our food but so worth it. I order a Monte Cristo whenever I can at brunch..... I have to say that this was the best one I ever had, really! My husband had a chorizo and egg scramble which he loved. Stopped here on a whim while we were out on our motorcycles. A bit tucked away into a strip mall it's a small family run joint. The owners are super nice. Love that they dedicated this restaurant to their late father. Small menu with great options with breakfast all day. Most of us got breakfast while my father and I got BLTs. The food was excellent! Clean, quaint seating area, was nice to watch their regulars come and go... one of the owners that was serving us was very personable and easy to talk to. My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday morning for breakfast after searching for a family owned restaurant in the area on Yelp. My husband ordered an omelet, and I ordered sausage gravy and a biscuit. Both were delicious and more than enough food for anyone. One of the owners waited on us, and he was super pleasant and very attentive. The menus were very fun to read and the atmosphere was one you'd expect in a small town where everyone is friendly and chatty with strangers. We will definitely visit again! read more

My family and I stopped into Randy's for breakfast on our way home from a lovely Labor Day weekend in the area. We were greeted with a warm welcome and our family of 8 was seated quickly. Chris was running the floor on his own and serving everyone quickly and with a smile. We got our food fast and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was exactly how we ordered and the coffee kept flowing. Chris was kind enough to share the history behind the diner which made the experience even better. We just tried this place for breakfast for the first time and it was great! The stuffed French toast was just the right amount of sweetness. The bacon was thick cut and crispy. The corned beef hash was not greasy - it was made with good sized cubes of meat and potatoes. The hollandaise was a great addition on the side. Friendly and personable service as well! Friendly, talkative owner served our party of four delicious breakfasts and good coffee. I had just-right eggs with roasted sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts.
