Cafe Deja Vu is a very popular local place for breakfast and lunch, which has been in business for 15 years. It was the Sunshine Coffee Shop before that. I have been meaning to stop here for quite some time and I finally did with a friend. We arrived here mid morning on a typical Sunday and the tight parking lot was almost full. We walk in and the place was very busy at capacity, folks already seated at the counter and at several booths and tables in two dining rooms. We were directed to the last open table near the front. The atmosphere is pretty homey of a cozy hometown country restaurant with wood walls and old pictures on the walls including several pictures and the history of 311 Court Street (now Cafe Deja Vu). We both start out with Superior coffees ($1.39 each) which was pretty decent. My friend also orders a Bloody Mary ($4.75) served in a pint with a big celery stick sticking out. The drink was not fancy but pretty good and he ordered a second Bloody Mary, why the heck not since it's Sunday. The breakfast entrees did take a while to come out since the place was really busy and there was a short wait for folks just arriving. My friend enjoyed the Eggs Benedict ($6.95) over English muffins with home fries and beans. I had the Breakfast Burrito ($7,25) with egg beaters ($0.50) served with home fries. The Burrito was huge with was stuffed with egg beaters and, meat (sausage) wrapped in a flour tortilla, topped with a thick layer of cheese and smothered with plenty of medium salsa. The homefries were very good, which were fresh cut potato chunks grilled and browned crisp outside and soft inside. The service was pleasant and attentive, The server checked up on us often and several refills on the coffee were given. We were both pretty full from the great breakfast and it was off to the slopes for a good half day of spring skiing. Turkey sausage/egg/chz on eng. muffin, with yummy potatoes.

Just ok. Service was great..food, not so much. I would avoid the breakfast burrito, really wasn't executed properly. Parking is fine.

I had the déjà vu two you can choose a little of both as an option, meaning instead of just beans or grits or hashbrowns you can get a combo.

We tried: Breakfast Sandwich -- Egg, avocado, cheese, and sausage on an English muffin ($8.50). 8/10 Super satisfying and customizable, with fresh add-ons like spinach, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and tomatoes if you want to load it up! French Toast Crêpe -- Cinnamon, brown sugar, and bacon with a side of real maple syrup, powdered sugar, and whipped cream ($11). 7/10 Sweet and decadent! We just wish the bacon was a little crispier and more candied for that perfect salty-sweet crunch. Overall: A cute café with a cozy vibe, friendly service, and a great menu selection. Definitely worth checking out if you're visiting Meredith!

They all sounded delicious. The inside is pretty small with only a couple seating options inside and out. It was busy on a Saturday around noon. There were no open spots so i decided to take my crepe to go and eat it somewhere else. I waited around 10-15 minutes after i ordred. I ordered the Thai Sunrise crepe and loved it. Peanut sauce was delicious and so were the ingredients. I loved it and it was so filling! Price so fair ~$12. Was so happy and full! I would love to come back!

Gusto Caffe in Meredith is the closest I've come to being back there. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed like family. The warmth isn't just service -- it's genuine. Excellent! so when we had an appointment in Laconia I was looking forward to the rich full bodied Americano decaf we always get. I added a bit of half n half and tasted. Found them to be luke warm, and also weak as dish water. I think the cool temp of the brewing water prevented the coffee beans from giving up their flavor. I brought back to the counter where the barista warmed them w the frother. btw, no apology. I thought I could drink it but it was awful. So I asked for a splash of regular coffee to be added thinking that might fix the weak flavor. She told me she'd have to charge me for a small coffee. Really? Didn't I already spend almost $5 on this bad coffee? So, that was it, I declined the additional cost and left it on the table. My husband brought his home where he promptly threw it away.
