The first thing we noticed when we walked in the door was that Christmas smacked us in the face with the best smelling Christmas Tree candle , burning in a super cute entryway. I could hardly wait to get inside to see what else this place had in store. First, there was a fireplace and a couch and a table. In the rest of the dining area, we're all high tops. Not so high that a barely over 5 foot person such as myself couldn't sit comfortably. Our waitstaff (there were two) and were great about offering menu suggestions when I shared flavor profiles I might be looking for and they were attentive and so pleasant. They had super cute Christmas decorations, and were putting up more while we were there. The vibe is super warm and welcoming, and for a short while you feel like you stepped back in time. The tiramisu martini was delicious, as was the blood orange martini. I had the cauliflower with juju sauce at the recommendation of the waitress, and it was honestly the best cauliflower I've ever had! My husband enjoyed his macaroni and cheese with buffalo and bleu as well. The owner/chef, Leslie, came and chatted with us for a little bit before we were on our way. We learned that in the summer they hold concerts, and they have a golf course. There is a distillery on site as well. Everything about this place was excellent, and we are already planning a day date to go back and try more menu items!

They chatted with us and made us feel right at home. The food was excellent. I ordered the veggie burger on a fresh pita with lettuce, tomato, onion, and Thousand Island dressing. It was delicious, and the pita was soft, fresh, and perfectly chewy. My husband had the mushroom Swiss burger on a pretzel bun and said it was just as delicious. We also grabbed chips, a Sprite, and a bottle of water to go with our meals. The restaurant was clean, including the bathroom, which is always appreciated. There were a few tables inside if you want to dine in, and the music playing created a fun, relaxed atmosphere. It's also in a great location, making it an easy stop while exploring the area. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely eat here again the next time we're in the area!

My friends got the chicken parm panini which was amazing and made on garlic bread. Breakfast was really good. They have wraps, breakfast sandwiches, pita pockets, etc. they also have fun lattes and drinks. I got a breakfast wrap with the Mounds of Joy latte. It was delicious. I would definitely come back and enjoyed breakfast. There is space inside to dine in and a singular bathroom. Homemade food and it was tasty.

My husband enjoyed his hot coffee, and we shared two sandwiches (so we could each taste both). We got the chicken panini, and the turkey maple on sourdough. Both were yummy! I especially thought the chicken was good because the meat was moist and thick. We also got desserts (because it was a family member's birthday and they love chocolate and pumpkin). And I never eat donuts but wanted to try the cider donuts. Yum! So light and delicious! I also got a bottle of the New Hampshire Squamscot root beer, and found it unique and refreshing. I would order it again, though I usually don't drink soda. This soda wasn't too bubbly, which is why I liked it.

They then waited for more than 40 minutes for their order. During that time, they repeatedly asked staff members about the status of their food. Multiple employees instructed them to continue waiting. Meanwhile, they observed other customers arriving, receiving their orders, and leaving while their own order was not provided. After waiting more than 40 minutes, it appeared that their food order had either never been entered or had otherwise been disregarded. In addition to the unusually long wait, both described the manner in which staff interacted with them as dismissive, patronizing, and disrespectful. They felt they were being belittled and treated as though they were less deserving of attention or service than other customers. Both my fiancée and our friend are Asian. Neither of them normally attributes poor customer service to race, and neither entered the situation expecting or looking for discriminatory treatment. However, because of the combination of their order apparently being ignored, repeated dismissive responses from staff, and other customers being served while they continued to wait, both left the business questioning whether their race or ethnicity contributed to how they were treated. I am submitting this account in good faith. The factual details described above are based on what my fiancée and our friend experienced and reported regarding the incident. They can provide their own firsthand accounts if additional information is required.

The place is geared for takeout which is order & pickup at the counter or online ordering. The checked linoleum floor area is wide open with some kids toys, sofa & coffee table in the corner, basically a good sized standing area inside. I stopped by Original Thai for pickup recently. I ordered the Green Curry with Tofu & Veggies ($12.95 plus tax), which was ready to go in about 10 minutes after ordering. I enjoyed my food at the park nearby since the parking in front on the street is very limited (15 minute). The Green Curry was milky and had a mild spicy taste with a mix of firm tofu. red peppers, bamboo shoots, zucchini, cabbage, baby corn, carrots, green beans, & basil, served with soft white rice in a separate container. This curry dish was pretty good and filling enough for a good takeout dinner.

My sandwich was made to order and ready in about 10 minutes. The big sub sandwich was cut and wrapped in halves and boxed up to go. I had to rush back to my vehicle before paid time ran out, parked about half a mile away on Endicott Street. I headed over to Meredith and enjoyed my sandwich out on Town Docks lakefront which has ample free parking, unlike the overcrowded Weirs Beach area. The Traditional Chicken Cut Sandwich/Sub was actually two sandwiches, so the pricing seemed appropriate. The semi thick chicken cutlets were nicely breaded smothered my marinara sauce and melted provolone cheese of chewy Italian bread sub loafs. We were lucky to arrive without a reservation when we did because it quickly filled up with customers. The place is somewhat small and has an open kitchen concept. The picture posted on their website shows six potato tots, yet our serving came with four. It was pleasant and tasty. For my main course, I ordered the Peach Glazed Pork. The dish had a nice presentation. I found the pork to be drier than I would have expected, but it was still edible. I guess I had higher expectations. Despite a few minor disappointments, this is a charming local restaurant that is worth a visit, especially if you're in the area.

I rarely leave one-star reviews, but our experience tonight was incredibly disappointing…read more The food itself was very good, but unfortunately the service was some of the worst we've experienced. The biggest issue was that my dad's meal was completely forgotten. The rest of our table had finished eating before his dinner finally came out. No one should have to sit and watch everyone else eat because their order was overlooked. What made the situation even more disappointing was how it was handled. While our server did apologize, the service continued to be poor for the rest of the evening. A manager never came to our table to apologize, check on us, or ask what they could do to make the situation right. We also weren't offered to have my dad's forgotten meal comped, despite the significant mistake and inconvenience. Mistakes happen, and we understand that. What matters is how a restaurant responds when they do. Unfortunately, there was very little effort made to acknowledge the issue or recover from it, and that left a much worse impression than the mistake itself. It's a shame because the food was genuinely good, but the lack of customer service and accountability completely overshadowed the meal. We left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

Our server was friendly and attentive, all the more impressive as it was a fairly busy crowd. I considered ordering a second pie, but instead decided on coffee and dessert, which was also wonderful. I would highly recommend the Pistachio Cake. The outside of the establishment is a bit deceiving, as it belies the upscale, classy interior. There was also a very nice bar area, with an interesting offering of drinks. Highly recommend.
