Perfect travel stop. We've been dieting way too long, and we've started our vacation with some comfort food. Bullseye! Bloody Marys and Mimosas to start. Brioche French toast (licked the plate), veggie burger/onion rings ( had to try the baked beans, too - just like moms!), mac 'n cheese & hot fudge sundae to go. The atmosphere was lively and the star of the show was Kira, our waitress. What a doll, and she made great recommendations! Drove a ways to try this diner because we are big Common Man fans. So happy we did, and we're looking forward to coming back. By the way, loved the community support. We made donations to the Helene Hurricane fund and Common Man matched it. Win - win! What a great stop for any time of day!

Waiting forever for my breakfast in a half filled diner:( When we came in the hostess was having a conversation instead of seating us, we have been waiting over 25 minutes for hash and eggs... changed my review to a one star after eating because the eggs had raw whites still. Not impressed after the ridiculous wait.when we paid they gave us each a tootsie roll. The perfect way to end breakfast:(

Part of the Common Man franchise. Styled in 50s Era. Stopped by today and LOVED it. First of all, the exuberant, most friendly hostess made us feel welcome right away. She sat us down and took our drink order...now what a concept taking your drink order and saving some time. We had the country fried steak and another breakfast dish w eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, English muffin, and French toast. Everything was perfect. Portions were perfect. My husband said he had the best brioche French toast ever. They serve lunch and breakfast all day. They have alcohol all day too. e Even for breakfast. So worth a trip in!!!

Since moving to the area a year ago, I've wanted to eat here, and foliage season seemed like the perfect opportunity to stop by while out for a drive. The main dining room is all done in vintage decor but I requested a booth in the old diner section facing the road. Seeing that we were a little tight, our server offered to ease the booth seat back a little and we were quite comfortable. As you can see from the photos, this is the quintessential diner of old, music and all. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The menu is filled with mouth-watering goodies at every turn of the page. I finally decided on the Philly Cheese Steak omelet and marble rye toast, and of course, I had to try the hand-battered onion rings. This was hands down the best omelet I've ever eaten! The coffee was even good. It's going to be very tough to pass the Rte 104 Diner without stopping. So I won't. Oh, and the prices are very competitive too.

It was OK. Good was fine, but it's part of Common Man chain, and we prefer interesting independent diners.

That said, the coffee, food, and service are worth it! There are two seating rooms and one of them opens out to restrooms and a very small shopping/business mall. The tables and chairs are thick, heavy, rustic wood reminiscent of a country kitchen, and the acoustics are pretty good! No echoes or a need to yell to friends or family at your own table. The service is stellar! Lots of students work here and they are top notch. The food is outstanding. Their hash browns are literally the best I have ever had. They are wispy and crispy, and will not leave grease on your plate or in your belly. The eggs are always perfect, no matter how you ask for them, and the pancakes are the best you can get without making them yourself at home. They are served with a syrup, but for $2.00 extra (at the time of this posting), you can get real maple syrup instead. By the way, their coffee is not limited to regular and decaf. There is a delightful coffee drinks menu for options to enjoy at your table or to go! Tucker's also does take out, so you really have not excuse to miss this delightful place.

Excellent! so when we had an appointment in Laconia I was looking forward to the rich full bodied Americano decaf we always get. I added a bit of half n half and tasted. Found them to be luke warm, and also weak as dish water. I think the cool temp of the brewing water prevented the coffee beans from giving up their flavor. I brought back to the counter where the barista warmed them w the frother. btw, no apology. I thought I could drink it but it was awful. So I asked for a splash of regular coffee to be added thinking that might fix the weak flavor. She told me she'd have to charge me for a small coffee. Really? Didn't I already spend almost $5 on this bad coffee? So, that was it, I declined the additional cost and left it on the table. My husband brought his home where he promptly threw it away.
