A cute cafe with very neat decor' and a decent selection of coffee drinks! They had a bunch of baked goodies for sale and even had some homemade masks for sale.

I agree that this place is a hidden gem; the place is neat, staff is friendly and I appreciate the various vegetarian-friendly options. I ordered the asparagus omelette which came with home fries and toast. The portions were generous and I didn't realize just how much food I was getting. Sadly, I was too full to eat any of my toast but my omelette and home fries were awesome! The omelette was stuffed with asparagus, mushrooms, tomatoes and goat cheese; very unique and tasty for a veggie omelette. The home fries were just right: not too soggy and not too crispy - just a thin crispy skin on the outside of the potatoes which is perfect for me. I also had the English breakfast tea. It was average, nothing mind blowing. The great food and customer service made up for it though and I'd return again.

I decided to try this place today. My wife works in the same building as Unity Café so I was interested to see how good it is. I was disappointed. My wife and I have lunch together everyday and our usual place is closed on Mondays. The place is very open and clean. I decided to order a burger with onion rings. Now they didn't ask me how I wanted my burger cooked which I took to mean you get it how it comes. The burger I received was burnt to a crisp. It was not even edible. The onion rings were pretty go though. All in all I feel like this place is over priced for subpar food. Given the options around the area, I find it hard to find a reason to come back. For example The Local Moose Café up the street is cheaper and has significantly better food that is locally sourced. All in all the only saving grace of this place was the onion rings and friendly staff.

This is my first time getting food from Unity Cafe and I'm genuinely impressed! I noticed there isn't any reviews that give this establishment justice but let me break it down for you! My honey ham and Brie sandwich tastes fabulous! I took pictures of everything beforehand. The bread was toasted the way I like it, full of butter with a light crunch everything had great quality and tastes like it was made with love! The unity chips are WICKED crunchy and to die for! Perfectly salty. A hidden gem is definitely the chicken salad! There's so much flavor to it! My salad dressing has a sweet delicious taste and pairs so well with my grains, the chicken salad and pita bread! The portions to me are very generous! My simple refresher tasted fabulous, the size of the cup is 24 oz so you will definitely get your money's worth! I definitely loved the complex flavors of the salad I received the fennel was an amazing touch. I never knew about this place before but I'm glad I got DoorDash to deliver these goodies to me! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who can appreciate some food made with love and complex lovely flavors!

Unity Cafe is a clean, modern, attractive diner inside a renovated re-purposed community college building across from the Velcro Company HQ. They offer burgers and noodle soup bowls with an Asian-fusion twist, salads, and high-end interesting sandwiches. I went for the "PLT" -- seared pork belly, lettuce, and tomato -- and it was a very good, innovative take on the classic BLT. Although lacking the full smokiness of bacon, the thick slabs of seared pork were luscious and decadent and the house-made aioli complemented the fillings nicely. (I meant to take a picture of this terrific sandwich, but absently ate most of it before I remembered!) My colleagues had a tuna melt, a smoked chicken-brie, and a grilled Italian sandwich, respectively -- and deemed them all excellent. The sandwiches are accompanied by home-made potato chips which were addictively crispy. On the downside, the beef barley soup was only meh and tepid in temperature; and the sandwich breads tended to be over-buttered for toasting, so your hands got pretty oily. If not for the mediocre quality of the soup, I would have given this 4 stars ... it's true rating should be 3.5 stars IMO. Overall, though, I'd be happy to visit again and try their other offerings and would look forward to upgrading my rating!

Great Asian salad at Unity Cafe, a hidden gem in Manchester!

Great food. Casual setting. Not so conducive for a business lunch, but great for a friend gathering.

Good things come to those.....who have the money…read more Traveling for business, I wanted to pick up a dozen to bring in to my customer location. I found NHD with a little help from YELP! and headed that way first thing in the morning. It's a nice little place with a cute cafe feel. I could tell it was popular because, although it wasn't crowded, there was a steady stream of people. Upon walking in, the first thing I noticed beyond the decor was that you wouldn't immediately be able to tell NHD is actually a doughnut shop. There aren't the usual doughnut cases on display with all of the sugary goodness. As I waited my turn in line, I noticed that the price list/menu on the wall was strictly coffee. Unless I'm missing it, I didn't see anything about the doughnuts in terms of pricing. When it was my turn, I walked up an noticed that just on the other side of the glass, on the counter, was a display of the doughnuts that they had available that day. They all looked absolutely delicious and high quality. Not your average doughnut shop for sure. I asked for a dozen boxed and then one for myself. As typically do, I just let them select the mix and pointed out one or two that I didn't want mixed in. I went with the Brown Butter Cronut for my personal sample. The total of the 13 doughnuts was $38.25. This comes out to just under $3/doughnut. With tip, I closed out at $43.99. They are pricey and a little more expensive that I would normally be used to paying. However.... Once in the car, I tore into my personal sampler, the Brown Butter Cronut. You DO taste where that money is going. That buttery ring of glory was delicious. It was quite chewy, which was unexpected, but the flavor was truly out of this world. The brown butter flavor shoots right through and launches every taste bud you have into and out of control rave party. It was awesome. Maybe they do have the doughnut prices posted somewhere. Perhaps on the doughnut display that I mentioned, behind the counter. I didn't see it. I truly was shocked by the price and although the one I had was great, still more than I'd typically like to pay. But, they're a small local business and they've got to pay the bills and earn a little scratch. If the doughnut that I had wasn't as good as it was, this review would be a little bit different. Would I go back? Maybe. Definitely to grab one or two for myself. I like to bring doughnuts in for customers when I'm on the road. They get some, I get some, company pays for it....it's an all around win. Having grown up with a doughnut shop in the family, I am fairly critical and I will not bow down to the chains out there. They're trash. Go local, go independent. So I always seek out the good local doughnut shops, with a little help from YELP!, and bring "the goods". It never goes unnoticed by the people I bring them to. I really want a doughnut now. Maybe two. Or six.

The doughnuts were also delicious! Fluffy and cooked perfectly! The space itself is small with limited seating but for a Tuesday morning it wasn't bad! My only recommendation would be to add a changing table to the bathroom. Was there with a friend and there was no where to change a baby other than the couch with a diaper pad down.

It's been around for a long time and just never ate there. This was a call in order and picked it up and ate it at home roughly. My order was ready within 10 minutes by the time I got home they were still hot to eat. The price was right where I would like it to be. It was about $17 for two of the breakfast supreme burritos, one with avocado and sour cream which they charge extra for. The size and the weight of these burritos were more than plenty The flavor was OK. Next time I will not order this burrito again. I didn't care for the potato inside of the burrito. It seemed very overwhelming once I finished the first half so I picked them out. When I walked in to pick up my order, it was roughly at 7 AM in the morning and it was very laid-back and relaxed in there. They had all their fresh baked goods out on the counter, but as I said before, I definitely will go back and try something different from in there.
