*AMAZING pizza, great vibes*…read more I have not stopped raving about this pizza since the first time I tried it in 2023! It has such a unique and amazing flavor, with a crispy crust. She then made her rounds around the restaurant, the two hours I was there. I found the presentation completely inappropriate for a restaurant. It felt more like something you would see at a strip club or Vegas nightlife venue than at a restaurant, and it was especially jarring at a 5 PM event. Honestly, I would have found it inappropriate regardless of the time. I'm Latina and all for a good, sexy time. But there is a time and place for everything. Beyond that, the restaurant was extremely crowded and hot, and they were already running out of food. Given the number of people there, the food situation was poorly handled. I also had an issue with my drink charge. It was listed as $9, but I was charged over $11, while my friend was charged only $10 for hers. That inconsistency was frustrating. Unfortunately, between the uncomfortable atmosphere, extreme crowding, heat, lack of food, and billing discrepancy, this was a very disappointing experience. I've since seen other reviews mentioning long waits, and after experiencing the chaos myself, I can understand why.

Our goto order is the Shredder which is slightly spicy pepperoni but it is incredible. The "wranch" is also a must try, it is phenomenal. For being a food truck you would think this came right from an industrial oven, there is no drop in quality. For ordering they typically have QR codes inside the brewery and you order from your phone, then pick it up from the truck outside. Overall really like the pizza and brewery (separate review) which go great together. Will be back.

The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and authentically neighborhood-focused. Whether you're stopping in after a bike ride, meeting friends for brunch, or grabbing a late-night bite, it feels like home. The service team is outstanding. Hannah went above and beyond, crafting two custom coffee martinis that were every bit as good as anything you'd find at a dedicated cocktail bar. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to see you that's the standard here. The brunch is excellent, especially on the patio when Minnesota weather cooperates. Located right along the bike path, it's the perfect destination for food, drinks, and people-watching. The menu has something for everyone, from creative specialty pizzas and breakfast pizzas to vegan options, plus favorites like bruschetta and lasagna. Reasonable prices, generous hours, consistently great food, and a staff that treats you like family. In a world of chains and cookie-cutter restaurants, Pizza Lucé Hopkins remains a true neighborhood gem. Sometimes you want more than a meal, you want a place where everybody knows your name. This is that place. #cheers!

I knew that I had to come because the Korean Chef was crowned a James Beard award. So, I had fairly…read morehigh expectations coming in. When my friend and I walked in, we came into a fairly spacious dimly lit space with loads of people inside. We were immediately informed that there would be over 1.5hr wait for a walk-in table. We were given the option to wait for bar seating as it would probably be quicker - and surely, it was. We did have to wait quite a bit, but it was a tolerable amount of time and definitely less than what it would have taken for an actual table. My friend and I decided to share 2 pizza pies as we wanted to get a taste of two different flavors, so we eventually settled on Korean BBQ & Perfect Pickle Pie. KOREAN BBQ As it was created by a Korean chef, it definitely had true authentic Korean flavors. As a Korean myself, I was very familiar with this soy vinaigrette and have tried this on many salad before - so, it was hitting home for me. Also, you can't go wrong with the bulgogi/beef short ribs known to all those who had Korean BBQ before. The combination of the sauces that they use for this pizza is definitely very rich, full of umami. I personally enjoyed it. PERFECT PICKLE PIE This pie was a totally different flavor to the Korean BBQ. It's less rich and maybe can be overpowered or considered more bland compared to other pizza flavors. But when tried together with the BBQ, it balances out the richness of the BBQ with the more subtle/less umami flavors. This pie gives more of a tangy/sour taste that pickles provide and more of a crunch due to the chips that are added on top. The dill is present, but not overpowering. It's a nice low-key kind of taste that people who like pickles will enjoy. Overall, the flavors were very rich in every pizza pie that we had that our mouths were bursting with flavor. It was definitely the most unique pizza toppings that I've had and can see why it's so highly regarded. I can tell that they really are meticulous with their every process and that their pizza guy by the wood fire oven is expertise in what he does. My friend and I walked out quite satisfied and I was honestly more full than I expected.

The crust didn't have that crunchy and chewy leopard colored edge that most wood fired pizzas have. The taste just wasn't there, I'm not sure what it was missing but it seemed quite greasy and I couldn't get past that. We also ordered the sharks truffle mac n cheese pizza and the flavor was good but a bit heavy and didn't match the online photo. The crust again just wasn't what we were expecting. We booked a patio table and the…read moreweather was fine, but we were warned by an overly familiar server that there was something of an insect "plague" that we needed to be aware of. There were gnats, yes, but it wasn't bad. But it did strike me that we were warned, but then no mention was made about what to do if the plague descended. Not a good start to the evening. We waited maybe 15 minutes until water arrived, at which point the server said he'd be back to take drink orders. Another 15 minutes later we ordered drinks. We saw them 20 minutes later and ordered then. First round of food arrived 20 minutes after that (arancini, quite good -- the highlight of the meal). But then it was a 40 minute wait until the second round of food came. By this point we were starving. There is simply no reason to have to wait that long for small plates. The same overly familiar server thanked us for our patience, said that he checked on the order assuming it got lost but then was informed that no, it's just slow. I said that, yes, we had been waiting long and that we were getting quite hungry. He assured us our mains would not be that long and then added "Yes, this has been the shift from hell." The mains did arrive more promptly, and they were... fine. The pasta was overcooked by a fair degree, and sauces were of a quality that any decent amateur home cook could make themselves. The pizza had an excellent crust. But when you're paying this much for a meal, you want more than a good pizza pie. Server arrived later saying that to apologize for the wait, desserts would be comped, but then... we waited so long to put in a dessert order we just asked for our check. So: incredibly slow. Service that was overly familiar to the point of reminding us that we were having a terrible time. And then no adequate compensation was made for the fact that we were having an awful time ON MY HUSBAND'S BIRTHDAY, which I had noted when I made the reservation. So, diners beware.
